Eyes wide Shut (Stanley Kubrick)
It gonna fuck your mind

RockNRolla
or Prometheus

Lethal Weapon 3

Yep, I still have only watched it once, too scared to watch again. Cant even explain why, which is worst of all

It's pretty fuckin shit. Kubrick was over-rated. I didn't laugh once

Over the top
Quality top shelf shit

>Kubrick
>overated

I tell you men, it fucks your mind jajajaja,It left me pregnant

Leroy the Journeyman

This

Ichi The Killer

Goodfellas
Memento
Usual Suspects

Lol, I went on vacation to Lake Lure, North Carolina..
Dirty Dancing was filmed there.. Everyone in the town I met told me too lol. Fuck that, OP here and I want to watch something good.

I'm going to look it up; I'm a big fan of A Clockwork Orange.

>On another note, if you liked Leon The Prof, check out Alt J - Matilda and Alt J - Leon, great songs about the movie.. Only JUST caught the reference and had to go back and listen.

Watch the director's cut, though.

Nice men, i'll do it

yup, he certainly was. Ok in the 60's and early 70's but pretty shit after. Just an opinion from a free thinker. Not some drip fed film school cunt.

Spring Breakers, i cant explain, but the film had something to it, and i really liked the slow, relaxing music in some scenes

Fight club
Dumbo
The departed
The guns of Navarone
The lady vanishes
Flåklypa grand prix
The man who shot Liberty Valance
Fargo

literally the worst movie

Boondock saints

lots of shooting and killing, plus a decent story.

I know Gucci is in it lol.. But I'm looking for something to get me sucked in and just... I've been feeling shitty lately and watching Leon just now really just made me feel good.

Seen fightclub a million times, I could watch it again but want to see something new.
What would you recommend as the #1 on your list? (Besides Fight Club)

Watched the trailer and I'm not sure it's what I am looking for right now.

I love them both just, kinda like Fight Club... Seen them both more than three times.

>Thanks everyone for the recommendations. Hope your all having a good morning/late night.

Great movie OP
Did you watch the extended version ? If not you have to, the studio butchered it for theater

>What would you recommend as the #1 on your list? (Besides Fight Club)
Fargo is probably the movie I've seen the most - well, except Flåklypa Grand prix, that is, but I mostly included that as a joke for the Scandinavians.

Just a little suggestion for the next time you watch the movie:
Imagine those were two arabs and every time they cite any lines from the bible pretend it is the koran.

i am not the person that would enjoy a movie with just party scenes, naked girls, sex and so on like project X. but this movie was something different. being on Sup Forums, i am ofc an autistic fuck and partying isnt mine at all, but there was more to this movie and i could enjoy it, and after seeing it it made me think on for a while and sind in a state of melancholy listening to ambient music.

Really good:

Wild Tales
imdb.com/title/tt3011894/

ok train spotting?

FYI you'll want to do heroine after watching this, so don't. Is mmmk?
Obiwan is on the right.

gun play, like really realistic gun play you can't go past

WAY OF THE GUN

technical director was ex-navy seal
every single reload is shown. Nothing is hollywood. Makes me diamonds everytime.

step your ambient game up
youtube.com/watch?v=R_08sBMQXWo
that movie has the worst written characters I know of

Can't say too much cause spoilers. But yeah religious extremists fo show.

last man on earth (1964)
ichi the killer
the good the bad the ugly
the last samurai
outrage
beyond outrage
platoon

Another one of my favorites! I feel like I have good taste and have been blessed with alot of greats since I have seen alot of the recommendations.
Also, trying to kick a heroin habit right now. Been clean about 2 weeks so yeah, not that it says anything about the movie but anything makes me want to do that shit about now.

I think so, it was 2 hours 20 mins.. Just looked it up on putlocker; regardless I loved it. Put it in my Top 5.

>Fight Club
>Leon
>Clockwork Orange
>Casino
>Goodfellas
>Blow
>Borat

>you'll want to do heroine after watching this
Really?
So I'm kinda non-trusting and autistic, and could not for the world imagine myself losing mental control from any kind of intoxication, but even if you do, how was Trainspotting putting drugs in a good light? Was there anything that didn't turn into shit for anyone involved? Maybe except the kitten, even though it literally lived in shit.

Bittorrent is gon be busy tonight boy, i tellz ya.

this makes you a pedophile

OP again, but seriously opiates are an amazing gift to humans but in moderation. Trainspotting shows what the shit will do to you if use it for anything but a good time a few times a year if not less.

>the good the bad the ugly
The only suggestion of his that is worth a damn. And maybe Platoon, but after you've seen it a time and has gotten over the cinematics and shit blowing up, you start seeing the war hater behind the camera. (Ye ye I know Stone *was* in 'nam. Does not change my opinion.)

Also, Once upon a time in the west is a damn near perfect movie, especially if you like westerns.

Literally the best movie ever made

Didnt say it made me horny you fucker. Happy.

Melbrooks 'Blazing Saddles'
So friggin funny, esp that german slut

Maladolescenza

Made heroine look amazing. The trips he goes on are awesome. Plus there's the aaaah..... i won't say. We'll call it the love interest.

I could see myself doing something similar on smack.

It's twue! It's twue!

BOPE's another good one if u like realistic and brutal gun play.

idk who was technical director, but it was very good. it's in portuguese but the english subs are easy to read.

...

>Drive
>One Flew Over The Coocoos Nest

Papillon.
Patton, Lust for Glory.
The Seven Samurai

Act of valor.

>The Seven Samurai
That reminds me..
The magnificent seven is even more entertaining imo. A rare case of the American remake being better.

Fubar

Mocumentary about 2 Canadian bogans.

Am i the only one who was super annoyed at the final sniper shot in American Sniper???!?!?!?! I mean coooooooommmmmmoooooonnnnnnnn. over 2000yrd shot on a empty watertank rolling around like buggery. GET REAL Clint u senile bastard!

youtu.be/MF40oKgQ9Jg

also i haven't seen that one yet, will do.

isn't that the one FPSRussia did a promo for?

Leon and mathilda are fashion as fuck

Sounds like Trailer Park Boys ripped someone off after all.

Planet Terror

Dude same! For me it's like I thought it was so good that it couldn't be that good twice. Favorite movie by far

Don't know about FPS russia promos, or if you're serious, but I wasn't. Act of valor is seriously, seriously shitty. I got it in hopes it'd have some gunplay at least, but even that part was shitty. I thought I bad trolling so badly, it'd turn into a joke.

la confidential, trust

I was even more annoyed they felt the need to create a sniper vs sniper narrative in the first place. Seriously, it would pack a much better punch without that. An olympic sniper out of Palestine.. Had they dropped all that, it would have been an improvement. But even Clint had to have a big american hero story with a climactic final battle.

I remember seeing the BTS on Space cowboys, Clint complaining about all the technical challenges, and one of the producers told him "you were making the same complaints when we did Firefox 10 years ago". And Clint supposedly answered "well then we'll wait another 10 years for the next one, won't we". I hope those final scenes made you tear your hair out, Clint. Especially if you realized in retrospect how unneccessary it was. How much worse it turned the movie.

High noon
Seven samurai
The dollars trilogy

Would recommend! That is a fine ass movie

Although, Space cowboys and even Firefox are great movies. If not bona fide classics with a capital C.

Also,
Close encounters of the third kind. Just make sure it's the theatrical cut, not one of the extended or directors cuts. In this case, they got it right the first time around.

Speaking of Spielberg, Raiders of the lost ark is also essential viewing, but I guess you've seen that one.. So I'll mention the hunt for red october instead. Now there's a nailbiter.

The Man from Nowhere has parallels with Leon and is really good.

I would not say better. Different style of film making. Kurosawa's films are always slower pace. The magnificent seven has a much faster pace and is more obvious with some of the plot points.

he seriously did. I was just being polite. It looks like shit.

Children of Men was good. Had a good cloverfield style gunfight at the end. Very immersive. Plus the story was good.

On other news has anyone seen 'Hardcore Henry'?

Das Boot is funnier and more poignant.

no but it looks like a fun popcorn flick

this

Gooks make decent action flicks. I watched this one with a Korean housemate with english subs. all about an ex spy tracking down the sicko that murdered his next door neighbour(5/10 qt3.14). Main bad guy harvests organs and eye balls while their alive. P good. Plus the dialogue is funny and the fight scenes are very well done.

Shame they're never in the cinema here.

It's unique in that it's shot entirely with a gopro

shame it's so cartoonish, at least that's the impression i get. Could be really realistic. IDK.

Brother and Brother 2

Brother 1 is on youtube with english subs
if anyone's interested......

brilliant film, very charming
