That's a great movie. Also:

Apocalypto
The Limey
Full Metal Jacket
Deadman
Natural Born Killers
Dawn of the Dead
>just to name a few

The Hunt
Whiplash
Bicycle Thieves
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
The Thing
The White Ribbon
Short Term 12

...

Fight club is good if your 13. Shitty movie otherwise. Start with some Tarkovsky, Bergman, Bresson, Godard etc. and fucking grow up, kiddo.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I dig, though;

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Departed
Children of Men
Lost in Translation

etc.

Sauce please. Please?

It IS possible to enjoy a movie for what it is, without having to pose as an elitist, art-house dick about it. Try it - you might find it satisfying. More satisfying than calling perfect strangers "kiddo."

personal all-time favorite film
anyone else?

This movie was great the sequels were not though, I especially hated that they turned the blind girl into a whore

...

...

I kind of want to see this movie, but im not a fan of the horror genre

Not best I've ever watched but I saw this Friday night and enjoyed it very much. I actually downloaded it purely from seeing it mentioned here. How many other anons saw it and what did they think?

Pleasant surprise: Woody as a bad guy again
Tearful moment: lots but "you'll make a wonderful mother" got me right in the feels

Owned.

it is to a horror, adam sandlers career scares the fuck out of me

up to the thing i thought you are baiting... now can't decide if trying to sneaky bait with throwing in a good movie too, or actually have a shit taste, with one exception which proves the rule. Anyhow, 2/10 you made me reply

confirmed trump supporter

The hateful 8, django unchained, terminator 2, alien, starlight outta Compton, boyz in the hood, deadpool, ant man, dredd, creed, whiplash, immitation game, boyhood very subjective tho,
The breakfast club, Ferris beulers day of
There is a few

...

The Full Monty

If there's one fucking movie everybody should watch, its this one.

Looks just like pic related

>Apocalypto

mein neger

You win OP

...

...

18 Bronzemen
36th Chamber of Shaolin
My Young Auntie
Marrying the Mafia series

Also the end of watch, prisoners, the zodiac, gone girl

The Fifth Element

so unbelievably bad it transcends reality and becomes the best thing you will ever see

...

I'll never watch this shit because I know how it ends. Same with The Usual Suspects.

The Departed

Some of the movies in the collection are for my wife

true that

'monicas

also
>cloud atlas
>gump
>nightmare on elm street da original
>gurl with dick tattoo on the molester both versions
>shutter fucking island
>mecha orange
>rec
>matrix
and a lot more I'm a huge fucking movie fan

>oh and a dirty dirty pleasure.. wanted because every now and then we need some pointless action

Best I've ever seen

I loved the music.

Wish it was a little faster paced but it was still pretty fuckin cool

Eh, you should probably go back to Mission Impossible and Fight Club, m8. I don't think our tastes would match up.

Sauce?????!????!????!!!

Ohimark.

I kinda liked the pace. It made me appreciate the action more. It also separated from other similar movies that try to make too much happen too fast. Just my opinion.

Added bonus: BDT as the ultimate badass born of hurt. (there is a better term for that but I can't think of it)

...

Blade runner/the three starwars movies clipped together, I'm a SciFi fan

...

Monty Python and the holy grail

>going out on a limb here with lovable lowbrow comedies that are actually decent stories:
Trading Places
Uncle Buck
Happy Gilmore
Beetlejuice (arguably Michael Keaton's best role ever)
The Wedding Singer
Planes, Trains, & Automobiles

>on that note, fuck "comedies" like Meet the Parents where a beta cuck piece of shit fails to explain what a normal person could just shrug off, rinse and repeat

...

Seeing how gentle and trusting Sayra was towards Casper broke my heart.

but, this was crap

>Some of the movies in the collection are for my wife

I liked it a lot. Different opinions, who knew?

3 sucked.

filmaffinity.com/en/userratings.php?user_id=358096&orderby=0

almost everything I've watched in descending order. Cool page that recommends movies accordiing to your votes, and doesn't suck in the ratings like imdb

Good one

...

...

Children of Men

Still surprised so many people haven't seen this one yet

Best of the prequels because Hayden Christensen is not in it to fuck Anakin's character to shit. Fight me.

is there a scene in this movie when a guy wants monks to let him go inside the temple/whatever but they won't so he just patiently sits in front of it, waiting? He rescues a birf or something

I don't think so.

...

The only good part was the lightsaber duel. Everything else was kinda...blah

Underrated as fuck thanks for reminding me

Pic related - by far.

I have this downloaded because of it being mentioned on tv but haven't got around to watching it yet. Is it really that good?

Better than the last atrocity to come out

Movie 43

Hello? Obvious #1.

First half is significantly better than the second half.

Full Metal Jacket
Taxi Driver
A Clockwork Orange
American Psycho (memes aside, great movie)
American Beauty
No Country for Old Men
A Touch of Evil
Chinatown
Rear Window

It really is. I'm a sucker for single-shot scenes, so this movie is right up my alley. Beyond that, the film is beautiful and just smart enough (not an art house piece).

damn it i remember only that scene from a movie i watched as akid and it was damn epic, thought this might be it.
i guess the search goes on

Yeah, truly a great movie, I agree with this user, more people should watch it.

actually its a boring crap about a nigga being pregnant

its one of the best I've seen

Sup.

shit no

77 kills 49 headshots? I love that movie

Actually, you might be right. 36th Chamber of Shaolin was one of the best, and if *was* a Shaw Brothers movie that had a guy waiting outside the temple for ages before they let him in. I think it might be the very film, because I remember it 'rained' at several points while he was waiting.

Good movie choice

anyone?

...

DA FUCK IS THAT DARYLL

In no particular order.

The Thing (John Carpenter)
Pulp Fiction
Das Boot
Dr. Strangelove
Lawrence of Arabia
The Bridge Over the River Kwai
Oldboy (Korean)
Eastern Promises
The Thin Blue Line
Spirited Away
3:10 to Yuma
Apocalypse Now
Big Trouble in Little China
Tims Vermeer
Tora Tora Tora
Seven Samurai
Pans Labyrinth

6/10

but I love space movies

Nobody? Really? I thought it was a very b movie.

calm your tits, its from another movie

Good Taste my man.

interstellar

>I'm a sucker for single-shot scenes
me too, the baby sequence actually brings a tear to my eyes.
It is an amazing and underrated film

...

I grew up like 5 minutes from where that was filmed. It's also a pretty good movie.. would watch again.
