Has there ever been a player as good at NT level as him?

...

Just in that Spanish squad there were a bunch m8

No.Villa carried Spain through most of the classification games, and was the only one that scored regularly. When Villa became old Spain had no goal which is why we are shit currently

Luisito Suarez without him Uruguay is pure shit, with him they're world class.

You spaniard bastards were so ungrateful to Villa when he got a little older. That's why your team got torn apart after he left.

shut up texas

what?

The Rat king is my current favorite player.
He just can't turn it off.

Irate Zidane

>1992 (without)
Don't make it out of group stage
>1994 (without)
Don't even qualify for WC
>1996 (with)
Make it to the semis
>1998 (with)
Win
>2000 (with)
Win
>2002 (not fit)
Don't make it out of groups
>2004 (with)
Meme magic
>2006 qualifiers
Struggling to qualify without him, comes back and immediately gets captain again and they finish first in their group
>2006 (with)
Make it to the final
>2008 (without)
Don't make it out of groups
>2010 (without)
Don't make it out of groups

They actually won the 2nd Euro without him

Spain are shit because most of the squad that won back to back to back trophies is either retired or dead men walking, Villa was important but no more than Casillas, Puyol, Xavi, Alonso or Iniesta

U wot m8

Suarez
Ronaldo
Zidane
Klose

Also in the 1st Euro they won semis and final with Villa injured

ted washington or casey hampton i guess. best true NTs of all time.

Di Maria. Carried Argentina alongside Mascherano to 3 finals and even let Messi take the credit for it.

I love how misleading this is. Typical Zidanefag.

Literally all of that was exactly what happened

>Carried Argentina
lol no.

spain turned to shit after that doctor involved with doping of catalan sportsmen got arrested.
just a coincidence though

...

just sayin

i guess he means why Del Bosque didnt use him in the WC, and insisted with Costa who ended being a complete piece of shit.

You're talking about Eufemiano? He's been arrested more than once actually

>implying there's only one doping doctor in Spain

Luigi pls

Brett Emerton. Carried Australia out of the group stage at the 2006 World Cup.

Del Bosque is more retarded than his son with Down syndrome, everybody agrees on that

there was a big case

The biggest case (Operación Puerto) was actually before Spain winning it all in football

There was another case 4 years later but they still won the Euro after that

Oh and he was eventually cleared of charges, lel

>Spanish """""justice"""""

He was good in one tournament
And even then iniesta was better

>He was good in one tournament
wut

Winning the 2010 world cup was 50% David Villa 50% Refs.
The team never really played well.

Again its incredibly misleading.

in Euro '96 he wasn't France's best attacking player, that was quite clearly Djorkaeff. Zidane was very much forgettable in that tournament.

In WC '98, he was suspended for two games for stamping on some arab in the blowout win against Saudi Arabia. France went on to beat Denmark 2-1 without him and then also Paraguay in the last 16 1-0. Two above average tough teams, especially Denmark, were beaten by a Zidane-less France. Zidane had a fairly decent game against Italy but that game ended 0-0 and went to penalties so it was one of those Zidane looked prettier than effective games. He then was absolutely terrible against Croatia in the SF and needed Thuram to bail his ass out. He was practically irrelevant up until the Final.

Euro 2000 was his only good tournament so nothing much to add besides him getting outplayed by Totti in the Finals and having one of his least effective games on the biggest stage. Very much the opposite of his WC 98. Thankfully for him his Juve teammate Del Piero did him a favour by bottling all those chances that were put on a plate for him. Henry played really well that game for France by the way.

In World Cup 2002 not only was he injured, but so was his obvious replacement Pires who was having the best year of his career and who was named MVP in the '01 CONFED Cup. Also Henry got a red card which didn't help either. That shit was just an overall nightmare for France, very misleading to just go "lol no Zidane = group stage exit"

Euro 2004 = forgettable outside of that meme ending against England.

Not only did Zidane return, but so did Thuram and Makelele who played exceptionally well in the World Cup '06. Those two, along with Vieira, were France's best most consistent players in the '06 WC. Zidane meanwhile was suspended for the final group stage game against Togo after picking up two yellows in the poor draws against Swiss and Korea. France needed to win their first game to qualify for the knockout round against Togo and they again did it without Zidane, winning 2-0. In the knockout stages he was good against Spain, great against Brazil, and then two average to poor games against Portugal and Italy. Literally only two good games all tournament.

Why not mention how France played 3 important World Cup games without Zidane and won them all? France were struggling to get out of the group WITH Zidane in '06, thankfully for his bad temper he got suspended and France were able to win a game without that bald cunt holding them back.

Zidane's NT career is so overrated.

>lol no Zidane = group stage exit"

Facts are facts

>Not only did Zidane return, but so did Thuram and Makelele

>Now, nobody will countenance the possibility that Zizou might not be able to save the day. Even his team-mates are in awe. Thierry Henry has evidently seen the light: 'What I am going to say may sound over the top, but it's the truth. God exists and he has returned to the France team.'

Henry is such a fucking beta, wew.

Me too, based Rat King will be favorite player forever.

>Spaniards think they will win anything with Lopetegui

M8 no one thinks that. Not even Marca

for you

he was honestly GOAT af in his prime for Spain. pretty meh in club level

This bad motherfucker

>pretty meh in club level
Just in Barça,when he was older and played out of position. He also scored extremelly important goals for Barça,like the one against United. In Valencia he was a fucking beast

Don't worry guys , you have Morata. He's just as good right? LOL

What a terrible post. Most overrated player in history

It's honestly baffling how opinions like this one are common in my country. Di Maria is a meme.

Uruguay literally goes from the most unwatchable team without him to the only fun international team to watch today with him (Except maybe France some games. Argentina and Germany are kind of boring desu)

>meh at club level

leaf pls
