fellow 20 year old here who is not OP, looking for mentors and seeking for advice will never let you succeed. I started a dumb software development company when I was 17 and now sell two products across the US software wise (I am not a multi millionaire but based on statistics should be by 21-22 years old) . Instead of seeking advice from people who have made it create a list of what uses you have. For me the list was just programming related stuff so I ended up looking for something in the software field that was lacking and recreated it and so far all is well. Pic related some motivation.

I really would prefer not to go into specifics because it would be easy to narrow down which company I run and god knows what would occur if it was posted here but surveillance software. It also isn't about following others, I followed others in HS and graduated with a very high GPA, got into a good college in the US (NYU) and dropped out within the first 6 months because it was an utter joke (they taught things 5 years outdated and expected you to spend 10 hours a day studying to get decent grades) it was a waste of my time.
