When Japan apologizes for warcrimes

When the white devils end the occupation of Korean soil.

It won't. Most Koreans don't give a shit about that anymore anyway. They don't even see the North as the same race now.

Consider how hard it was to integrate East Germany. Now magnify it x50.

Yeah...

It's a shame.
Though I doubt it, I'd love to see a joint South Korean-Chinese-American Liberation of the north, all organized by Trump.

The old argument is that the DPRK serves China a strategic purpose as a buffer zone against a unified, US-backed Korea, but this seems like outdated Cold War thinking. Obviously we're not going to fight a war with China in this day and age, also wouldn't we withdraw our troops from the peninsula if the North collapsed? I mean, there wouldn't be a point to it anymore.

The key fact you are forgetting is that the US benefits from NK's existence as well.

Yeah the South Korean military/intelligence services aren't eager to disturb the status quo because no Best Korea means they lose any raison d'etre for their existence.

North Korea will have to get its shit together before they reunify. If they were to reunite now, the South would have to deal with all the starving, homeless, and uneducated Northern citizens.

Pretty much.

Not like NK can do anything.

Think about it. If we were there to stop the Soviets + NK, why were we still there 1991-2003?

One of the things that led to the fall of the DDR is that West Germany offered Gorbachev a deal that German companies could do business in the USSR if they withdrew support for the regime. Obviously South Korea has no such economic leverage to bribe China with.

South Korea's political institutions aren't as mature or stable as West Germany's were either. The country was a Third World dictatorship only 30 years ago and still has a lot of that mentality.

Interesting to hear a north korean perspective on reunification. Apparently reunification is talked about all the time in the north while in the south people have stopped caring about it.

>South Korea's political institutions aren't as mature or stable as West Germany's were either.
few people realize this but after the fall of the gdr and its annexion the federal republic was actually infiltrated by eastern agents through gdr subversion tactics, the result is the society we have today which is authoritarian and repressive socialist, I wouldn't recommind south korea to make the same mistake

Most people assume China would expect the US to not put any troops above the 38th parallel if Korea were reunited. In truth, they would probably have much more extensive demands including the total withdrawal of US troops from Korea and abrogation of the US-South Korean mutual defense pact. Aside from that, China has quite a few economic pacts with North Korea which include 50 and 100 year leases on mining sites, as well as access to ports and free trade zones. Should Korea become reunited, they would quite likely demand that Seoul keep these arrangements intact.

More like the DPRK holds China hostage, for China it's better to prop it up than go through the troubling process of the dissolution of the state, which would probably cause millions of low skilled refugees pouring into China and it would be seen as a concession to the West. The DPRK also has nukes and China might hope that it dealing with the country might be used as a bargaining chip in negotiations about Taiwan and the South Sea.

>few people realize this but after the fall of the gdr and its annexion the federal republic was actually infiltrated by eastern agents through gdr subversion tactics, the result is the society we have today which is authoritarian and repressive socialist

East Germany wasn't nearly as backwards as the DPRK, in fact they were the communist bloc's primary supplier of advanced technology.

fuck off.

That's true but it was still pretty meaningless since all of the East's technology/products/factories were scrapped in a few weeks of reunification. Their tech was good by communist standards, it was not good by the standards of the developed world.

Nope.
Ethnoliguistic geography is not equal nation-state. Korea began to exist after the Three Kingdoms unification. This map is just nationalist masturbatory meme.

also fellow azns don't attack each other. only japs attack other azns. we gooks and chinks learn to live with each in peace. i just view the korean "ethnicity" as a subbranch of the greater han ethnic group.

The colloquial language in West and East Germany was quite different as well. There were at least 1000 slang/informal terms that people in the East absorbed from the West. For comparison, only a few slang terms from the East have survived ("Ossi" being the most used of these).

For Korea, it's much bigger than that. The language as it's spoken in the DPRK is very old-fashioned, wooden, and formal compared to the South. It would be the equivalent of English as spoken in rural America in the 19th century.

I wouldnt say that. Koreans are the most genetically homogeneous ethnicity.

no i did a dna test on myself once. im like part mongol, han, jurchen, and korean. noone is pure """""ethnically"""""""" all meme by the mighty white jew.

you may, but ask most koreans that they are somehow chinese or related to the chinese people and they will deny it.

and where did you get the bullshit about asians not attacking each other. China invaded korea numerous times throughout history. Same with korea attacking manchuria now and again.

The language isn't that different really from what I've understood. The difference is apparently on the same level as british english versus american english. That and there are a lot of english based loanwords in use by south koreans that north koreans don't understand.

So you'll definitely notice it from their speech but it's not big enough to cause any communication problems.

han and gooks agree not to attack each other after the three kingdom period. Mongols, jurchens and other assorted nomadic barbarians pillage both our civilizations often. learn azn history.

Yeh but you gotta remember that all communist regimes in Eastern Europe aside from Romania fell peacefully. There were no trials or punishment of communist leaders, and plenty of them got elected back into office in the years following 1989. Should North Korea fall, its leaders would almost certainly end up in a war crimes docket at the UN or lynched by their own citizens or tried and executed by the South.

Good luck with your greater Han ideology. May the Confucius with you

Considering south korea just announced the formation of an american special forces style battalion with the sole purpose of finding and either detaining or eliminating north korean leaders in case of a crisis I doubt the reunification will be peaceful.

it isn't. People just read the news and form beliefs without proper context/understanding. Its literally like an american talking to an Australian...

as a matter of fact, if you compare north korean dialect to Jeju-do (korean island province), south koreans will better understand north korean accent compared to Jeju-do.... think of it as hardcore irish accent no one understands

Did you not learn some basic history of China? It's one bloody civil wars after another bloody civil wars. The "han" definitely enjoyed killing each others greatly without the meddling of the west.

I never implied you would be 100 percent korean. Just that Koreans are very close genetically amongst themselves in comparison to other thnicities

China has never been very good at fighting external enemies, but when it comes to civil wars, holy god, they can do them like nobody else. The Taiping Rebellion alone killed 30 million people.

hey, you were the one that made a statement without saying "after 3 kingdoms." Unless that argentina post was a proxy of yours.
and stop saying "azn" that AZN pride thing is so 90's. What next? you going to talk about your page on asian avenue?

Pretty much as I thought then. Really funky changes in dialects need a lot more time and isolation than what the north koreans have gone thought.

It would not. If North Korea fell, I doubt you'd see Kim Jong Un declaring himself a social democrat and running for office in a few years like ex-communists did in Poland or Hungary or whatever in the 90s.

Nope, I'm a different person, and actually in Argentina.

>Yeh but you gotta remember that all communist regimes in Eastern Europe aside from Romania fell peacefully
Yugoslavia's collapse wasn't exactly "peaceful".

Yugoslavia fell apart politically, but the government wasn't overthrown in a revolution per-se, also again no communist leaders were tried or punished at all. The only country where that actually did happen was in Romania, and even there only Ceausescu and his wife were tried and shot.

North Korea's leaders will probably just be given a speedy trial and shot if it ever came down. The situation with Korea is not like Eastern Europe in 1989, not even close.

>also fellow azns don't attack each other. only japs attack other azns.

>this coming from a country of which the northern part is allegedly illegally occupied due to a relentless intervention by 'fellow azns'

lol south korea is just a western puppet state for the white man to control and suppress asian civilization. north korea is true korea with traditionally allying and following the Confucian order of standing by our han brothers. once usa collapses, we will revert back to our traditional ways. worst korea and japan are not true asia but a degenerate western abomination.

Never. Both parties don't want it. It would ruin SK economy. China needs NK as buffer.

sure han china love civil wars but same with gooks. we are the same sinic civilization.

kek. I bet you masturbate to this pic

>China needs NK as buffer
This was gone over earlier. The truth is more complicated than that.

good man. we need more his kind in asia to resist the wh*tes and japs.

Have you withdrew troops from Germany after it reunification? From Japan?
Chinese don't want your troops right on their border.

Germany and Japan don't border China last I checked. Also the post you want is

That's just some speculations. Since when USA listen what some China demands.

Obviously they'll expect some kind of concessions if Korea were reunited. Nobody does anything for free, you know.

>north korea is true korea
i wouldn't deny that, as its shithole-ness is actually close to that of traditional korea. that being said, seeing what your ancestors left, you people don't seem to have been enjoying the regime in your utopia of "asian civilization" that much in the first place, not to mention the fact that even modern kim dynasty doesn't really like/trust china and often purges lots of pro-china factions in the party.

>On July 4, 1896, a Korean journalist Soh Jaipil wrote an editorial of Independent News expressing his congratulations on the independence of Korea from the rule of Qing.
>The congratulations for the independence of Korea from the rule of Qing
>Thanks to the will of the God, Korea, after many suns (years) of serving as a vassal state of the Qing Dynasty, has become a fully independent nation. Now, the monarch of Korea is on equal footing with the world's leaders, and the Korean people are free. Because of the significance of this auspicious event, this symbol will serve as a reminder to the world and to future generations of Koreans of Korea's everlasting independence as well as be a place where the Korean public can exercise and enjoy the fresh air, quiet, and scenery.

that again and yet they have nukes ready go and nuke your stupid nip monkey ass and china is ready to fuck your shit up in the east china sea.
go run back to your american dick sucking secession takashi maybe he can help.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bình_Hòa_massacre

>The Bình Hòa Massacre was a massacre purportedly conducted by South Korean forces between December 3 and December 6, 1966, of 430 unarmed citizens in Bình Hòa village, Quảng Ngãi Province in South Vietnam.[1][3][4][dead link] In 2000, however, it was reported that a monument within the village, gave the dates of the massacre as October 22, 24, and 26, 1966 and said that 403 people were killed by the South Koreans. [5]
>The district was in the operational area of the Blue Dragon Brigade.[6] Most of the victims were children, elderly and women.[4] The victims included 21 pregnant women.[1] The South Korean soldiers burnt down all of the houses and killed hundreds of cows and buffalo after the atrocities.[1] A number of the survivors of the massacre joined the Viet Cong and fought against the United States and its Allies, one of which was South Korea.[1] [7] The South Korean forces are accused of conducting a similar massacre in Binh Tai village within the same year.

Can't you send in seal team 6 to capture the Kim family and make them surrender?

>The South Koreans soon developed a reputation for effectiveness, reportedly conducting counterinsurgency operations so well that American commanders felt that the South Korean area of responsibility was the safest

fucking based koreans

>Korean reunification when?

I'm not an authority by any means, but I would imagine that bringing the north up to speed with the south would bankrupt the south.

let me guess.... you just entered college/university and your liberal professor is just blowing your mind with all this ((((new))) knowledge.

As soon as South Korea realises that North Korea best Korea

>yellow sea
>cleary sky blue
sasuga asians
