What's his best film?

What's his best film?

edward scissorhands or nightmare before christmas

batman returns

batman

Ed Wood

That one with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter

>nightmare before christmas
Not his

a home video of Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp fucking while he watches off in the corner

...

The only good film that he produced was the big shit he took

Big Fish

/thread

He made Ed so lovable

comfy film by the way

Edward Scissorhands is literally kino.

wow its so kino

Sweeney Todd

Edward Scissorhands had such powerful imagery
I remember watching it as a really small child and weeping at the ending

This

It hasn't been released yet. It'll be the webcam video where he announces his resignation.

Me too. Thinking about it now gives me a really strange feeling. It's like I knew the town where they lived, I knew the roads, the houses, the people. Doesn't feel like a movie, it's almost like a memory

Let's not confuse Tim Burton with your future webcam suicide, user.

Edward obviously.

That'll be easy. I don't dress like a homeless lesbian and make films for teenage girls.

This or Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, I love them both for different reasons.

Corpse Bride.

Mars Attacks is really underrated. Burton made the first legitimately fun alien invasion movie in three decades.

>big fish

Faggot.

This is exactly what happens to me too.

>Alice in Wonderland
>good
Seriously?

Sweeny Todd was pretty enjoyable, but Alice is his absolute worst, second only to Dark Shadows.

I have to say "Ed Wood." Most of Burton's films are novelties (or were, until they became boringly repetitive curiosities) that try to hide spotty direction and poor storytelling with atmosphere and gimmicks. "Ed Wood" was as close to a genuinely competent film as anything Burton ever made.

Pee Wee's Big Adventure and Beetlejuice

This.

Will Beetlejuice 2 be good?

If pictured is your favorite actor, you'll love it.

Don't do this to me Tim ;_;

Part of the reason why I loved the original Beetlejuice was because the effects were so campy and fake-looking. Like the sandworm

Well, judging by his movies nowadays, you probably shouldn't expect anything like that.

Alice in Wonderland was actually really good, probably his best flick yet

What was good about it?

For me Mia was cute but that's it, everything else was garbage

Dude is a hack now, but man, he was KILLING it when he was young.

>Beetlejuice
>Batman
>Batman Returns

I mean holy shit. And I have guilty pleasures like Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Sweeney Todd, Mars Attacks and Sleepy Hollow.

It's also impressive that he went from a graphic designer to cartoonist to filmmaker to director.

also think back on evil dead and its remake. those campy effects will never happen again.
