Any Sup Forumsros watched this?

Yep. Unique but ultimately boring

Would you recommend to watch it? I actually watched it a long time ago but forgot pretty much everything except there being some horse girl in there

Nobody moves!
This is a hijack!

Not really, tbh. It always had a stigma about it , America's first r rated or x rated cartoon movie. Really never lI've up to the hype. Lotta 60s and 70s tropes, hippies, nod and a wink to blacksploitation movies. Otherwise, after the first viewing, the novelty wears off

sounds about right just from this small glimpse I have seen here so far

>Not recommending to watch it, so dude won't feel the whole spectrum of subsequent disappointment you have.
such self-sacrifice

Also that's how we get generations of people that are believing something is shit/wrong just because they were told such by someone

If you understand the 1960's or 70's, the movie is worth a look.

It's worth watching as it captures the zeitgeist of a particular time and place really well, but it definitely won't have the same impact today as it did when it debuted. It's more of an interesting look at a period of film making than an actual good movie. Don't expect much from the X rating. It's pretty tame by today's standards. The X was more to keep kids from seeing it than the actual content.

its fucking amazing you should watch it

>X rating
I dont want to watch it for the rating but rather for the content, guess I might watch it again after all

I watched it on netflix. It was ok i would have probably found it better if i was watching it around that time period. But since that was about 30 years ago it not that important anymore.

It is a pretty decent movie and certainly a type of movie you will not see anywhere else. Ralph Bakshi was a great animation innovator as well as a cultural satirist.

Also I think his movie Wizards is a better movie

It's also interesting if you like hand drawn animation. Bashki has a very unique style, and while it's not polished at all and downright crappy at times, you really get a sense of the man behind the art. Way more personality and soul than anything made in the last 10 years.

gonna be a get thread?

Haven't heard of Wizards, gonna check it out too!

It's good social commentary, okay furry porn
