I don't know why, but it feels like this meme won't get old for a bit.

Cooties - 4/10

Romancing the Stone: GOAT 80s movie, GOAT Michael Douglas movie
Alone in the Wilderness: 10/10, new favorite documentary
Civil War: 6/10, most of the action scenes gave the mind shits, but it wasn't awful
Pleasantville: 7/10, not bad
Running Man: Arnie/10

>Hamlet (1996): Could have been fantastic but Shakespearean language isn't even understandable at this point
Philistine detected

>The Bakery Girl of Monceau
6/10. If you've seen it, I think it should have ended right when he starts walking down the street with Sylvie, or right after they have that short conversation at the restaurant. The way it ended felt abrupt and unnecessary

>Paris, Texas
8/10. Really good film. I'm slightly ambivalent about how I feel about the way the ending ties into the rest of the film, though from a cinematic standpoint the final confrontation between Jane and Travis was great and moving. I'll have to give it another watch some time. Stanton's acting in this one is fantastic -- some of the best I've seen. That scene when they're all watching the Super 8 home movie is beautiful. A film about the transience of memory and the past and our inability to ever fully recapture it.

>Following
5/10. Not a big Nolan fan, though I like this more than most of his stuff. Just doesn't really stick with me in any way. Too much exposition like his other films.

>Scarface
7/10, though I could see myself giving it an 8/10. The thing that strikes me the most about this movie is just how fucking miserable and detestable Tony is throughout the whole thing. Kinda feels like he fails to be tragic because he's just such a shitty, degenerate, opportunistic person. Some great scenes, though.

>A Colt is My Passport
7/10. The climactic fight scene is GREAT even if it's totally unrealistic. Kinda feels like a lesser Suzuki film. Not tooo many great scenes, and it takes a while for the romantic subplot to feel earned (and I'm still unsure if it ever does). Pic related is a great shot, though it's even better in motion

If Passion isn't a solid 10/10 for you, then your expectations are definitely too high.
