Why the fuck did everyone flip their shit when Nestle was getting its water from the sources it paid for? So fucking what if it raises it's prices on its water, eat shit that's their water. they fucking paid for it. The drought isn't their problem. The government could have stepped in, but they didn't. So get the fuck right out with that hippie bullshit "WATER IS FOR EVERYONEEEE OMGGG" if I paid for fucking resources it's my goddamn resources.

yup

But that isn't fair to low income people on government assistance that sell drugs to support their cocaine habit.

Water is a basic survival necessity, and clean water is a human right. In a developed country, raising the prices on clean water during a drought constitutes constricting a human right.

Because it's fucking water....Are you that retarded?

Welp not seeing that shit in your constitution, so no, that's just some BS you've just made up. Anyway, that's your story, Mark? Nesyle fucked up or what?

And you can fuck right off to Africa with that mentality. Here we like to think that there are some things that fall under the umbrella of "basic human decency".

For your level of stupidity, I now have to levy an air tax because assholes like you are using up all my precious oxygen. I have lots of houseplants and a garden that I tend so I'm producing a fair bit of oxygen myself. Considering its my resource, fuck you, pay me.

>basic human decency
they're a private business retard.

also
>basic human decency = we have the right to not have to pay more for candy
fatty detected

Drink from the faucet is that not a thing anymore? Unless you get water from a well this is a stupid thing to get upset about like nigga find a lake like use your neighbors hose

This.

>they're a private business retard.

Which does not give anyone a free pass to act like a shithead.

Like the lead tainted water in Michigan, right?

Or how about all the places they've been fracking where you can turn on the faucet, let the water run a moment, then literally set that running water on fire with a match.

Some places, it ain't that easy.

I just wish they'd bring the flavored Kit Kats over here.

Let's stay in the shit festering wastelands then I mean there's a green pasture a few miles north but I don't feel like walking

Also Michigan who the fuck lives there seriously

This shit is how you get cancer..

Of course it isn't. Especially when companies like Brita have been caught lobbying on the sly for more lax water safty regulations.

Hahaha why are you trying to protect a company that is raising prices on YOUR neccesities

People like you are the reason why we had to make capitalism slightly socialistic. Just couldnt handle the responsibility of freedom, could you?

We specifically make things like anti-monopoly laws so fags like you dont abuse your power and fuck things up for everyone. Just because youre a private business doesnt mean you get to disregard humanity on any moral level, and in case you didnt know, law is enmeshed in ethics/morality.

everyone already pays for water. We don't need to be taxed on it as well.
That's oddly one of the last thing we're not being taxed for. In france I mean, don't know how it works elsewhere.
But we basically have to pay taxes for having taxes.

>But we basically have to pay taxes for having taxes.

How else do you pay the tax collectors?

You're basically buying the plastic bottle and the convenience of having it already filled with water. I really don't see the problem here.

boi

You must be the smartes othead out of your whole group. There are older and smarter versions of you here, sit back and listen. You might learn how you sound making certain arguments.

You built a city in the middle of a fucking desert. Anyone living there deserves it. Same thing with Seattle when the volcano goes off again.

me, and 9.9 Million more people

>billionaire buys all the water tomorrow
>massive humanitarian catastrophe

>we don't need no gubmint!!!!

please kill yourself

God dammit, Butters You can't buy all the water, no place to store it.

Just speaking OP's language, getting my point across. I didn't and don't claim to be the smartest guy in the room, I was simply making a point in a way even the thickest heads here will at least have to deal with.

he could decide to drain all the reserves after purchasing them. it's HIS reserves, he can do what HE wants with it durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

again, kys

their pumps, their drills, their pipes, their money, their water purification systems, etc.. None of that shit is free. Califag Gibmedat with $5 gas because you live in a liberal shithole.

>please subjugate me like medieval times and take away my fundamental human rights that we've fought for over the past 400 years

i literally hate you

I'm so sorry for you

>i "paid for" something natural and necessary to life using a man-made idea of power

kill yourself

water is for everyone and everything

What's the opportunity cost of having your capital assets burned to the ground by an angry mob, while you and the board of directors are raped and hacked to pieces in the street?

You're not the one producing the oxygen, the plants are so you're exploiting them
Check your privileges

#gotem #roasted

En l'occurrence l'eau est gratuite tu payes uniquement le service rendu cad l'extraction, embouteillage et transport

On paye pour l'eau du robinet aussi.
Mais c'est peut-être juste l'entretien des structures et tout en fait.

Legality isnt the only thing to take into consideration. Furthermore, legality doesnt dictate what is right and what is wrong. Only what will put you in a cell and what wont.

I paid for the seeds.
I turned the soil.
I dug the holes.
I'm out there every day making sure they get their water.
Without me, those plants wither and die in this oppressive summer heat.
Not to mention I also pay taxes on the land on which these plants grow.
They provide me with food, which I consider adequate compensation for taking up my real estate. The rest of their byproducts (see: oxygen) are therefore also mine to do with as I please.
The plants do not complain, and in fact die if I don't have enough money.
Therefore, since the cost of maintaining these plants is increasing due to the increase in the price of water, I have no choice but to tax the stupid for using a commodity that would not be as abundant without my intervention.

If this whole chain sounds stupid and contrived, that's because it's following the same chain of logic that Nestle is using.

Regardless if water is a "right" or a "need" Nestle was/is stealing the water they are selling...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nestlé#Water_bottling_operations_in_California_and_Oregon

Sell your iPhone and buy water you fucking special snowflake.

Hershey's say Nestle can go suck a dick

I shower in the same water that companies sell in bottles. My government sells it to them. If you're short on water, blame your government, not private companies.

> basic human decency

> I want the latest iPhone and can't plan further than my next non essential purchase because I'm a fucking idiot

Or you could invest in companies that are involved in water extraction/purifying. This isn't a new issue. Moneyweek have been discussing the profits to be made from water for a decade. A fucking decade!

How fucking stupid are you?

It's like nobody remembers Tank Girl.

>Choose to live in a place with constant droughts and has to import water -- a necessity
People are really fucking dumb.

water is no longer a necessity when you prefer it comes out of a plastic bottle than the tap. they can raise if they want to. ill jsut drink from the fountain with the rest of the niggers

increase my killing power eh?

fucking kek
