What do you think about Trump's economic policy about lowering taxes for everybody and doing away with unnecessary bullshit government programs?

It's standard boring republican talking points. But i don't believe anything he says because he doesn't believe anything he says.

If there's anything he knows anything about its money. I would listen to him

Hey come on. I gave a serious answer to an obvious troll thread. That doesn't even buy me a funny response?

Not. Going. To. Work.

I was hoping to have a serious discussion about it with anons, the economy is as important as everything else

>le big govmint is bayed may may
top kuk

Well, continuing to answer seriously, his non-economic statements and positions are so dangerous that it really doesn't matter what his economic positions are, or even whether they make sense/would actually help.

The man poses a serious risk of using nukes as offensive weapons, or making america take military actions which would cause it to be recognized as a terrorist state.

It's just... disqualifying. Literally anyone else would be better than him. I am a strong libtard here, just letting you know, and i would choose ted cruz over trump. I think that guy is a theocrat, but no matter what fucked up shit he would do, he wouldn't pose the existential threat trump does.

I think it will help some (like Trump for instance) a hell of a lot more than it will help those with less.

>The Trump plan offers tax savings at all income levels, with huge savings at the highest income levels resulting from the reduction in the top rate from 39.6% to 25%. And while all those negative numbers in the Trump column sure look appealing, try to keep in mind that in order for them to become a reality, we’re either going to have to cut spending (Fun Fact: We wont!), put another $12 trillion on the country credit card, or go deeper in debt to China.

from a few days ago, it's actually a pretty good assessment of both plans. hillary's looks equally shitty

forbes.com/sites/anthonynitti/2016/06/08/its-clinton-versus-trump-a-comparison-of-the-final-two-tax-plans/

i think he's full of shit. he just said today that he thinks it's a good idea to increase the debt by a few trillion.

the latest major flip flop

who the fuck knows what he's going to do.

plus he wants to go after porn. fuck him.

But isnt it the middle class we are worried about right now?

see, here's the thing. nothing has gotten worse, it's just shifted. trump is right in some ways it's harder to start a business where you choose what's produced.

it has shifted somewhat with the internet and the new distribution methods. now people are creating and distributing their stuff directly. like apps. there's no need for a huge software firm to be gatekepper anymore.

but if you think about it for a moment, this is actually really good news. it's a crack in the corporate stranglehold. it allows individuals to get stuff out that a market values.

it's only just starting.

trump is against this because he's for corporations.

so when he talks about bringing jobs back, he wants to reverse this trend.

>he just said today that he thinks it's a good idea to increase the debt by a few trillion.

It's the only way his tax plan can work. "Why not just let our children pay the bills in 10 years" is not a plan. Last time it was Iraq, but it's the same financial hole we're still trying to dig ourselves out of today.

we see it now in software, books, music, movies, tv, radio (podcasts) and even (at a basic level right now) manufacturing in the form of 3D printing.

this last one is only beginning. in 10 years manufacturing won't even look the same.

Not necessarily. Alot of americans do not have access to the tools or have the knowledge to do this type of work, these americans will be left behind. These are hard working americans that just want a job and to support their families. The middle class is dying because we have been bleeding them dry. Your middle class is the bread and butter because there is alot of them. Im not saying to close off internet entrepreneurs, im saying let us build a stronger middle class by emabling all people to get the jobs that can allow this.
I dont feel trump wants to stifle the entrepreneur.

You do realize how misrepresented Trump is by the media, right?

better than hillary's plan to raise middle and lower-middle class taxes

we need to move forward, always. not get mired in some shitty past because some people "will be left behind"

instead we need education and training to move them forward too. that's where we should be focusing.

there will always be jobs anyway, there just won't be corporate gatekeepers any more and that's a good thing.

But the average american is not creative enough or strong willed enough to do these work you are purposing.

yeah, i do, not at all. they simply print what he says

like the 2nd ammendment call for revolution. if he meant by voting why did he immediately say "and that would be a terrible day" right after he said it.

yeah the media does not call him out enough in fact. they're treating him with silk gloves and it has to stop.

then you'll work for someone who is. it just won't be massive corporate overlord any more. it will be smaller companies, like in the old pre-industrial days with the bazaars and shit.

there will always still be some mass production, just not as much as it used to be.

I am not saying to move backwards or stop progress m8. Im not saying that. We are in a transition period right now, possibly a new Renaissance. We need to be able to allow people that want to work and who are too old or too dumb to recieve the training to be able to still find a job that they can do and be in the middle class. I understand your point, but we cant just drop everything, that would be catastrophic.

doesn't matter
campaign promises don't magically become policy with an election win.

trump will see none of his "palns" realized, bc the president is not a king and governement does not work that way.

The media picks and chooses what they want to use from his speeches/press conferences. But even so, saying a few things that invade people's sense of comfort and being the deeply corrupt politician that Hillary is are two totally different things.

it's all lies

it's a slow change that's happening now. there will be some rough patches.

trump wants to reverse it, that's the problem.

Dude. If you think corporations will disappear youre delusional. They have the capital, they will absorb the smaller businesses this will always happen.

However true that might be, he cannot misrepresent himself. These things that i have stated are based on things he has said, observed in full - watched, not listen to, with no editing.

He has said that he wants to take out the families of terrorists. Doing that is a war crime and would make america a terrorist nation.

He has asked repeatedly why we have nuclear weapons if we don't use them. And if we did use them before someone else did - even assuming we didn't strike another nuclear power, it would alter the rules of engagement for nuclear weapons among all countries everywhere, and might potentially upset the balance of power in that vein and bring back the real serious threat of nuclear war.

You have to understand. There are no checks on the presidents authority to use nuclear weapons. He can literally do anything we wants with them, and nothing can stop him. That is not hyperbole, it's the way the system was designed.

you mean actually inciting violence versus being the subject of mostly propaganda for a decade that idiots like you blindly believe? yeah it's clear what the better option is there.

We need to move forward, not backward,
Upward, not forward,
And always twirling, twirling, TWIRLING towards FREEDOM!

the very phrase "campaign promises" is a hilarious punchline on the campaign trail. They exist only to give a general sense of the kind of ideas a candidates like, not as actual policy.

No he doesnt. How are any of his policies going to reverse it? Is he shutting down the internet?

>EPA
>unnecessary
I think that he is trying to lower Americas standard of living to the quality of of mexicos so we can compete with them as producers.
His tax plan is throwing a bone to the working class and feeding the elites filet mignon, even though the working class raised the cow.
It's all half baked, all of his policy's are retarded like this.

>3000 people are losing their jobs because Trump Taj Mahal is closing.

Trump just says everything he thinks you want to hear. It has NOTHING to do with really changing ANYTHING for the better. Anybody who can't see that is a complete moron.

that's fine. it's the gatekeeper that people like trump want to bring back. they wnat massive corproations that choose what to publish, what movies to make, what to produce. if you get big enough and then swallowed up, if you allow that, that's a part of life. always has been.

If the guy wasn't putting his foot in his mouth every single day I would agree with you. But he is. The media isn't telling him to say retarded shit, he's doing that all on his own and everyone can see it clearly with their own two eyes. Long time Republican officials dating back to the Reagan era are withdrawing their endorsements. These aren't people prone to giving a single fuck what the media says - yet they are jumping ship too. There is more to it than "omfg media bias conspiracy!". It's obvious that the guy is a nutball, even to hardcore veteran republicans.

Fuck you, he sacrificed a lot to create those jobs.

>Blaming "The Media"
>2016
>Pick one

being okay at running businesses has absolutely no correlation with running an economy.

Trump does not understand economics, and his tax policy is a complete joke.

The gatekeeper will never leave. That is my point dummy. You arent making sense, i think you are trying to make these profound lofty statements but they are falling flat. Dont talk politics while high man.

yeah i hear abuot shit long before any media plays it. i read transcripts, i listen to their speeches in full. if you blindly watch the tv news, or worse just listen to shitty memes, you're a fool.

>just says everything he thinks you want to hear

user that's any politician in the history of humanity

it's already not happening in books, tv, movies, music and small scale (for now) production. you put whatever you creat up there - like on etsy. you write something and if it sells it sells, amazon and shit. the corporate gatekeepers see a bleak future and they should.

We can't all afford to avoid taxes, Don.

If he is okay at running a business, why does he fail everytime he tries to venture outside of his dad's real estate empire (the safest market on the planet).

yeah if have a lot of money it's really easy to make money in real estate.

I think until he releases his own Tax Returns, his tax plan means absolutely nothing.

Like? How does a billionaire sacrifice anything by getting something made and getting people hired. He inherited all his money after his dad died, and could of literally been richer if he just put the money in a bank and waited.

He ended up making pretty good money from running his shit, it's probably higher than most people would. The last thing I'm trying to do is defend him, but he was okay with making money given how much he started with.

>amazon
>not a gatekeeper
Jesus dude, seriously sober up and we will talk. You are blind to what is really happening, the gatekeepers no longer restrict access because they know restricting doesnt work, what works is flooding the market. Useless information drowns out useful information thus making the populace even dumber. Also i love how you think america can support an entertainment economy.
>hurr we already do
No. Just because one of our larger exports is cultural doesnt mean we are in an entertainment economy.

Compared to what.

Firing missiles at Russian planes in Syria? Actively arming terrorists with U.S. vehicles and equipment? Blaming Saudi Arabia for 9/11?

Do you have any idea how hard your government's been trying to end the world these last 4 years?

Do you even realize how close the U.S. was to total economic collapse in 2009? There wasn't enough cash in the ATMs. Process that for a second. They ran out of paper currency. And the prints have been running full steam ever since. You ever look at the dates on your bills lately?

things that are going away: gatekeepers, brick and mortar stores, warehouses of product, even massive stores like walmart will see a hit. when you can make a toy immediately and you're just paying for the blueprint, so to speak, and people can "release" a toy immediately with little or no R&D. it's a massive whack

the good news is all of those people used to make money, all the middlemen all the decision makers, the golden parachute CEO's in publishing, the store owners.

all that money will now go directly to creators. some of it will mean decreased price. but must of it will go directly to the creators from the consumers.

when on-deman production using metals becomes viable, and it will. maybe 10 years, what will we NOT be able to produce locally? cars, and airplanes and war machines. maybe houses.

fuck, food might even be done eventually.

entertainment is just the first wave. it's low hanging fruit.

2016 and being this fucking delusional.

>actually believes this
Uh huh. And who controls access to the internet? Who controls traffic flow? Huh?

A conventional war with any nation might end america as a country. Not the world. The collapse of the world economy would destroy many governments, not the world.

Don't be hyperbolic. Just because you or i might die because of the results of those kinds of scenarios doesn't mean the world dies.

what do you think when clothing becomes printable at home or at your local town center?

You mean like the NSA, the DEA, the Pentagon?

Sure. Lets do it.

And who controls the blueprints?

I think it will still be heavily influenced by a corporation.

sorry, i don't believe in tens of thousands of people massive global conspiracy theories. they'll hang on any way they can but it won't be through shutting down the internet. that horse has left the stable. we will never have a time without an internet now.

Just to put things into perspective, Russia's that other nation with ICBM's loaded with nukes.

And the U.S. military is actively harassing their declared ally, in Syria.

Or are you saying that nuclear missile exchange would only damage the countries exchanging fire? Because it would not. It would be catastrophic for the entire planet.

the people who create them of course. the individual creators. some of them may work for corporations, sure. but many of them will not need to.

>lowering taxes for everybody and doing away with unnecessary bullshit government programs
good
>tariffs and protectionism
bad
America would be fucked without free trade. Only some pleb manual laborer would think otherwise.

if trump had put his inheritance in a high intrest isa bank account he would have more money than he has now if anythings he's terrible at business

Jump in, the Trump train is starting to move.

>Threaten trade wars with our largest trading partners
>Increase the deficit by an INSANE amount through military, infrastructure (wall), and tax cuts
>Repeal Dodd-Frank and Obamacare
>Believes Manmade Climate Change is a Chinese conspiracy
>Believed Obama wasn't natural born for years
>Openly advocates for war crimes

Clinton may be a scandal-ridden politician, but at least she's not an idiot. She'll do fine due to her experience, political expertise, and connections.
But the American people need to realize
A. Corporate/Union campaign donations are equivalent to corruption. Bypass the First Amendment here.
B. Regulatory agencies are in bed with business to keep barriers for entry high.
C. Banks are still speculating in the Subprime market.
D. Global free trade helps everybody.

His economic policy does not cut taxes for everyone. Just the rich and corporations. He's as establishment as it gets. It's the same old same old failed republican tax plan.

Cut taxes for the rich, still spend a shit load of money and increase the deficit.

It was a joke about that one interview
When trump was asked what he had scarificed and he just spergd out over how successful he is

what then? Do you think everyone will be his own designer then? The more stuff we have as a choice, the more information you need about that stuff. That's not what people want. People want easy choices for stuff that they don't care about. I'm not gonna print my blue jeans just because I can. I still order them. And I absolutely don't care if they are machine or men made.

there will be some sure, but many people will be wearing what amounts to personalized, designer clothing at a fraction of the cost of corporate made clothing. because the corporations will no longer be able to mass produce it as the demand will have been lowered.

yeah i know right.

he always has that "i cant believe these idiots believe anything i say" look on his face

You are either a idiot or a retard, if you don't vote for this gentleman.

Motherfucker im not talking about a global conspiracy, im talkinh about the very real telecomm companies, ya know the ones who allow you access to the internet. They control it. They can control the traffic. Sure the fcc had a big win with met neutrality, but the fact remains companies and corporations wont be going anywhere, you have your sites where you sell your blueprints, telecomm companies, web domains, search engines, etc. If you think the gatekeepers and corporations will be going anywhere, you are not seeing the picture clearly.

no there will be as many designers as there are now except they won't have to vie for jobs at corporations. they'll do it themselves and it will better, probably, than most corporate made stuff. they won't need to be out of work because a corporation has enough of them.

Deal_with_it

Is it finally going to fall off the cliff? It better hurry. There's less than 90 days to put up a candidate that can win.

So who owns their internet service, who owns their website domain, who allows them one their search engine, who helps them generate revenue?

There are a lot other countries with nukes, ICBM or CBM doesn't matter when you want to destroy the planet.

telecomm is not the kind of gatekeeper i'm talking about.

i'm saying someone who sits on a board somewhere and decides en masse what product to produce this year, what to reject. based on what they think will sell.

It is going to all over the universe conquering the whole shit.

You said "Firing missiles at Russian planes in Syria?"

Those were conventional missiles, not nuclear missiles.

All of the countries with nukes have a no first-strike policy.

If we went to war with any of them, we would have a conventional war. Not a nuclear war.

Trump wants to change the no first-strike policy. That would alter the rules for the entire world. Suddenly every nation would be at risk of being nuked, nuclear or not, without striking first. And we would be back to the tensions we had during the cold war, except now it's 9 nations that could pull the trigger.

the internet is sitll there today. they already coexist with companies and individuals. so what?

and you know what they may go away eventually. i think we'll come to a point where we don't really see wifi centres or anything like that. we'll just always be connected.

Does anyone seriously believe Trump has a chance?

Oh so you dont think that will happen in an internet based economy and marketplace?
Kek what are you 12? Jesus

Richer in 'pure money' perhaps - But right now he owns like 500 businesses too, all generating income for him constantly.

I maybe be an idiot or I may be a retarded but that man is no gentleman.

Yup

You are clearly delusional

Well the big problem is 10% means alot more to a family making 40k vs a family making 1000000k

No

Well you're definetely both.

of course it won't. why wouldn't they let as much as stuff as possible up there? what does it matter to them if they have 100 ebooks or 10,000? blueprints for 3d printing too. why would they limit it? you're being dumb.

the corporate gatekeepers aren't doing it out of spite. there was (and still is for now) a huge investment to bring something to market. failures could mean the end of your company.

Why arent they doing it know? This is where your point comes crashing down. What makes the internet so special? If it is a good thing to do now, why not do it before?

Can't stump me!

anyway, i got to go faggots. enjoy your shitty lives. i'm off for a bike ride with my beautiful girlfriend in the amazing city i live in, NYC. where, btw, i make $100 an hour minimum as a consultant.

you're welcome for gracing you with my wisdom.

remember, look forward not backwards.

>all that money will now go directly to creators
Have you heard about the wealth of google and facebook? And you believe they are "creators"- you are living in some sort of fantasyland where you dont have to support yourself

>this level of projection
Hey tell bubba in the back room that frieght needs to go to aisle 8
