Ege>Tago Mago>Future Days

this, altough moonshake and future days are pretty good songs, tago mago s pure gold to be left last. No dscussion on ege.

why Tago Mago>Future Days though?

Tago > Future Days > Ege Bamyasi
Have to listen to Ege more though

I used to like Future Days better but I like Tago more because of Oh Yeah and Halleluwah. First side rocks a lot harder and second side is a lot weirder
Future Days is still great but it's kinda just the same laid back groove the whole way through

Future Days>Tago Mago>Ege Bamyasi

The second half of tago is garbage, and you're forgetting Bel Air exists.

worst opinion ITT

thanks daddy

>The second half of tago is garbage
Holy pleb
Even if you can't into Aumgn or Peking O, Bring Me Coffee Or Tea is one of the best songs on the album

future days>ege>tago mago

they're all brilliant albums and the only reason why tago is at the bottom is because of that second half. future days is a revolutionary masterpiece though. bel-air is transcendental

you're the kind of poster who thinks you're patrician because you listen to "difficult" genres like noise and drone, but you can't even into classical or jazz because those genres are actually musically complex

objectively correct

this

Ege Bamyasi = Future Days > Tago Mago

Tago Mago is the most interesting one.
Future Days is the most consistent album.
Ege got the nicest songs.

>projecting
Aumgn isn't even hard, just slow in it's developement, and he was defending BMCoT, which is great and more accesible than Halleluwah.

Tago is my favourite

Holy projecting lmao

Future Days > Tago Mago > Ege Bamyasi

Future Days and Tago are pretty much tied for me, but Bel Air is my absolute favorite

>ege bamyasi last

tago > ege > future days

plebs need not reply

tago mago = future days > monster movie = soundtracks > ege bamyasi

Oh yeah is 100% the reason, other than that theyre on a very similar level

>projecting meme
nice uncreative argument freud. too bad it doesn't even make sense. i'm condemning those "avant garde" genres. that's why the second half of tago mago is a throwaway, and also why bel-air is the best thing they've ever done

How would you guys rank their albums post-Future Days?

tago mago > future days = ege bamyasi > monster movie

Moonshake___ has the answer

Nobody ever includes Soon Over Babaluma :(

This is objectively the best thing they released

Ege Bamyasi is almost perfect, definitely my favorite of theirs. I guess I can see why fans prefer the other two, this one is a little easier to get through, but fuck those drums.

There's no dull moment on that album.

Ege Bamyası > Future Days > Tago Mago

It's good, and so is Monster Movie, but the true 10/10 streak is Tago Mago through Future Days.

Anyone who is a non-casual fan of the band is advised to check this out!

You think Ege is easier to get through than Future Days? I agree that Ege is easier than Tago but Future Days is by far the most cohesive and accessible of the Damo albums (not counting soundtracks)

It is mentioned sometimes
Soundtracks are never discussed
agree

I love Aumgn and Peking O but dislike BMCoT to be honest

Live 71-77 is edited to bits.
As a big fan, I still don't like it compared to what it could have been.

Just one example: "Kata Kong" is "Networks of Foam" on The Lost Tapes, edited.
And they didn't bother to mention it AT ALL.
That really gets me in a bad way.

If you like live Can, do yourself and favor and hunt down some full recs. Have already posted some here

what are the best songs from Can's Lost Tapes?
