Anyone else obsessed with American suburbs?

I often find myself on google maps walking through them. They just look so fucking comfy to live in. Is this the truly superior way of life? It's my dream to one day live in an affluent American suburb.

Just try not to get your head cut off by a Somalian in the meantime

>every house is the same

Is this some horror movie

they're awful numale breeding grounds

I'm obsessed with them but I wouldn't never want to live in one.

yes

That's not always the case from my experience. But it's the whole atmosphere that attracts me, it's like a little bubble isolated from all the problems of the world. Everyone is white, middle class or upper class and everything is nice.

Suburbs voted Trump over Clinton though? Why would thye be numale?

How similar is suburban life to the way it's portrayed in Hollywood movies/shows?

Not really, I have comfy neighbourhoods where I live. That said, your pic related seems very nice, I would not mind living there. Ideally it should be a state up north instead of south, tho. I hate those yellow fields in the background. It should be green.

This motherfucker just had to ruin everything, didn't he!

Am i the only getting a bit creeped out by all those similar houses ? It's just spooky, really weird.

don't you have suburbs in scandinavia?

Agree, it needs trees and some darkness for maximum comfiness. Maybe that's just my bias from being from the north though. The suburb portrayed in Stranger Things was 10/10

It's living in meaningless existence

Why are you posting desert suburbs?

the children turn into numales

Not always the case, this is how it also can look. t. suburb expert

Not in the same way, atleast in Sweden. Here suburb is synonymous with immigrant ghetto. That said there are a few examples in the biggest cities but it's not as widespread as in America and they're not as isolated. Usually in Sweden, people live very connected and class differences aren't as noticeable. My high school had children from every class and walk of life.

sometimes that happens

Rural living is better.

Forgot pic

Post comfy northerly suburbs for us instead.

The best American suburbs are the ones with the row of big trees going down the middle of the road and/or on either side of the road

Comfy Chicago upper class suburb

Example?

I like my neighbourhood.

Where there are always no houses made of brick?

>Is this the truly superior way of life?
Not for me, but hey, if that's your thing, good for you.

This is something that freaks me the fuck out. It's like everyone around you is some fucking mannequin and stares at you with a big fake smile everytime you pass by. When you tries to escape you'll just be going through a never ending street of same houses and same neighbours. This is worse than any fucking nightmare.

>america
>white

cause they ugly

...

This looks like upper class in Sweden. But I assume it's still quite connected to the inner city and shithole areas? In America the suburbs are almost like their own towns.

I don't know, never been there. Does movies like American Pie, Superbad etc catch the lifestyle well?

You do realize that movies like that emphasize the uncanny feel of suburbs to a surreal extent, right? Yeah, it's a little weird (ruralfag here), but it's not like in the movies.

...

That's probably decorative brick. I mean real brick houses. Everyone builds such ones here. Wooden houses are considered not reliable.

Ye this is the best one. I prefer this over those large gardens of nothing, that just looks weird.

Couldn't find any good examples of the strip of trees down the middle of the road but whatever

cause they ugly

It is "upper class", as much as upper class goes in a socialist cunt such as Norway and Sweden. Call it "upper academia class" if you will. But yeah, Norwegian cities are too small to have whole big areas/towns with exclusively upper class suburbs like they have in USA. It takes me like 5 minutes to drive to the city centre from my neighbourhood.

>he doesn't live in a >90% white state
>Does movies like American Pie, Superbad etc catch the lifestyle well?
That's a sillier, glorified depiction. When it comes to suburbs, it's simple; the richer the better.
That's more common in cities and close suburbs.

They look comfy, all residential areas here have a mini trump wall to keep other mexicans out unless they're gated areas.

This look seven more comfy. Civilization and nature at the same time

This is pretty close to my nightmares.

generally you're limited to ornamental trees in this situation. Oaks, maples, ashes eventually get big and fuck shit up.

Is the whole high school atmosphere a meme or true? Is there a Chad football captain who fucks the cheerleader qt3.14

In Sweden people come to the high school from every part of the city and most people don't care for each other outside their group of friends. There are no activities or school spirit or anything and you go home right after classes.

Brick houses are more common than you'd think. We use smaller, typically bricks instead of cinder blocks, though.

Like a lot of things here, it also depends on the region.

Have you ever seen real brick houses? This is decorative one again.

I don't really care

Well you won't see it from above so it won't look as intimidating but I agree that every house being the same would be a little weird. Also there's a serious lack of trees and nature there but I guess it's somewhere in California or some other place where people really shouldn't be living.

This is much better

It's sad to know that the ones with big trees aren't more common, because I've seen it once or twice before in a movie or something and from memory it was comfy as fuck

But if you look, there are noticeable differences between the houses, and these are more noticeable at ground level. And the mannequins with fake smiles thing is just silly. It's the kind of thing that promoted by young former suburbanites who use the media to show that they're more le deep than those chumps back in the suburbs.

The high school atmosphere thing is exaggerated a bit, but it's much closer to reality than what you're describing with high school in sweden.

Пoшёл нaхyй, мyдaк

Because when there's a chance your house is going to end up being destroyed by a tornado anyway, there's no reason to splurge on building materials.

WTF I've never seen any brick house this ugly here. This is what our average brick house looks like.

I've never understood the "american houses are shit because they're made out of wood" meme. We have some of the most violent weather on the planet and never have I heard someone say stone should be a more common building material.

>Is there a Chad football captain who fucks the cheerleader qt3.14
Sometimes. Memes are memes, but sometimes they're true.
>In Sweden people come to the high school from every part of the city and most people don't care for each other outside their group of friends.
That's normal everywhere. Humans are tribalistic.
>There are no activities or school spirit or anything and you go home right after classes.
That's different here. Goooooo team!!!
That's not decorative.
That's also ugly.

yeah that's ugly. And why are the windows boarded up? You ghetto as shit

youtube.com/watch?v=Tkj-eE99Dac&ab_channel=jackBushell

Are these things for real or just memeing? I couldn't imagine anything even remotely similar to this getting organized anywhere in this cunt.

Because stone and brick isn't really going to protect your house from a tornado. Foreigners don't understand this. They think tornadoes are like smaller hurricanes.

Yeah, it's real. Those are all chads though. The edgy goth kids would be in the parking lost smoking clove cigarettes

>They think tornadoes are like smaller hurricanes.
Wait, what? Really? Can any foreigners ITT confirm?

Is it true that in the US people actually drink 1l energy drinks in one go?

I'm not replying to you. Just posting burger

Not in one go, but my roommate will usually sip on one throughout the day while he's working.

thats delicious man

what is pulled pork?

I know

>cheerleaders, marching bands and football
Do Americans really care this much about football?

pork "pulled" from the bone after barbecuing

It's a big deal yeah. I did marching band all throughout high school btw, ask me anything.

It looks fun as fuck tbqh. Wish I was an American upper middle class normie. I just spent my high school days playing world of warcraft, masturbating and getting drunk with my all male friends.

why are white castle burgers called sliders

well fill 100,000 seat stadiums to watch "amateur" football

How many niggers were on your football team and did they get worshipped? If yes, how do you feel about contributing to this by participating in the marching band?

Those suburbs wont even fit in this small country

No one knows, but it's a generic term fo any small burger. The prevailing theory is that it has something to do with a resemblance to slider turtles but nothing's been confirmed.

About 50/50 actually. I went to a school that was roughly 65% black though, so they were actually underrepresented on the team more than anything. And no, they weren't worshipped. Our star player was actually a ginger manlet who played kicker. He helped take us all the way to state.

do you know moritz boehringer?

Did you get to fuck any qt girls during sleepover or similar?

Home Improvement is probably the most accurate portrayal, but again, it's a show so it's more interesting than real life

what are entry videos to get into american football?

they aren't so great, mink is kinda dangerous

>be 27
>mom tells me she is going to take me to see the force awakens
>even bought two seats for me
>waddle to the car becaue mommy is going to let me start it while she puts makeup on for our date
>jump in the back seat because I'm old enough for the big boy seat now
>while waiting in the car a guy jumps in and robs mom's car
>he is too distracted to notice me sitting in the backseat
>I slouch in my seat deeper than ever before >after 5 minutes, just enough time for him to feel safe, I finally speak up in the monotone of a person who doesn't understand the gravity of the situation
> "I am in the backseat, AMA"
>He is shocked and terrified by my non-chalance, causing him to lose control of Mom's minivan and crash into a nearby Denny's
>he dies upon impact but I emerge without a scratch because I didn't tense up
>As I step out of the flaming wreckage, my strong legs glistening with sweat from the heat of victory, applause erupts throughout the establishment
>"Hero" the call me; a title I reluctantly accept.
>Unaffected by the commotion, I calmly walk over to a booth and beckon a beautiful Denny's waitress to me.
>"No need for a menu" I say, "I'll be having 2 of everything"
>for the first time in my life, I would eat at a restaurant without my Mom.

Was the Force Awakens any good?

WHERE ARE THE FENCES REEEEEEEEEEEEE

Thanks, also
>65%
I'm sorry

this is my suburb. They aren't all the same

is that your gay ass beetle?

I grew up in a brick house so idk what you're talking about

>ms nappy

No, I live in the south and the Vikings are a trash team anyway.

Nah, I was an awkward virgin throughout high school. Didn't lose my virginity until I got to university, at which point I fucked a different girl roughly every month until I had to start getting serious in my last two years. Other people would fuck in the band room and on the bus during trips however.

If you wanna understand the rules, a Britfag has a great intro video on Youtube: youtube.com/watch?v=Ddwp1HyEFRE
Otherwise just start watching some games. The superbowl is coming up in a few weeks and Sup Forums will almost certainly have a stream. The college circuit usually relies more on technical skill so some people find it more interesting.

It wasn't that bad actually. Black people get a bad rap on Sup Forums and in memes, but they're rather nice and friendly people IRL, especially if you're not living in an urban shithole. Our community was pretty rural.

Why do you still live with your parents?

Btw where do even normie Americans live after college? In Sweden people this age usually live in apartments but America doesn't seem to have any apartments.

>but America doesn't seem to have any apartments.

College graduate posting from an apartment right now, sven

nah that's not mine. I took this walking my street.

pic related is by my place

or concrete

Seriously? I find them creepy for some reason

It depends honestly. Most get apartments or rent a house. One of my friends from uni got a really great-paying job after graduation and bought a home that was foreclosed on at a really cheap price. I live with him now.

I took the pic you are replying to. I live in a house that my dad owns. I pay him rent

Yes.
Building fences is sometimes considered un-neighborly, especially if nobody else in the neighborhood has them.
>America doesn't seem to have any apartments
That's just your perception.

pretty comfy 2bh

Did you two fick?

Suburb in malcolm in the middle is comfy 2bh

It's even better when we get snow
