Are you autistic?
No
No. Buy it all seperate and it will be a fuck ton cheaper
Dont buy the 1080 founders edition
If you do, be sure to visit Sup Forums.
They'll send you all sorts of compliments for your smart decision.
>alienware
What do you think? Oh wait you're incapable of thinking.
Don't take the bait you idiots
in australia a gtx 1080 costs 1300
i asked some people on there and they got so angry i think i want to buy it just to trigger them.
$1600 to make some anonymous neckbeards vaguely angry and get some riled up threads with people criticizing your spending habits?
That's a price you can't refuse!
LOL why take a 1080 graphic card and only get a corei5 and 8Go ram?
Because some people don't know what the terms "overkill" and "bottlenecking" means and they especially dont know they REALLY do not work well together.
> Alienware
> Dell
> Shit-tier parts
ok ok i made some tweaks would this be better?
Alright can someone please just answer me why Alienware gets so much hate here? I read the reviews and they are almost entirely positive. Even I understand they are way overpriced. Apart from that, are they fundamentally flawed or bad? Just trying to understand.
spend the money on hookers and blow instead
Because you can get the same computer with similar/better specs for a cheaper price
Find out all the price of the hardware listed in that Alienware, then add a additional 500 dollars, you're paying for the name, not the computer
I might've brought it 10 years ago when Alienware wasn't sold to Dell, but now its shit
If you want to buy computers instead of building one, go to
>CyberPowerPC
>iBuyPower
Also to add to this, you're buying from Dell essentially.... pls, no.
buy the alienware case alone, then buy all the hardware, it should be at least 300 dollars cheaper you retard, unless you're a rich boy?
listen to him OP
Alienware is overpriced and made from Dell
and if we can all agree on something, Dell hardware is extremely shit and can break easily
buy all the parts separately, you'll save more money, if you're not confident in building the thing take it to a fry's and let them build it.
the GTX 970 isn't even worth a dime anymore unless you get it super cheap the RX 480 and GTX 1060 are literally a thousand times better than this
You are paying an extra premium for a brand name. Pay no more mind than that while everyone else is attempting to be your financial advisor.
When you buy an Alienware, you are essentially saying "I have no idea how a computer works, hope this expensive shiny thing runs it nice!". That is the image one exhumes with an Alienware PC. You're just a consumerist whore with no prior understanding of anything tech-related,
You take out the "love" in trying to assemble your own computer, experience your own problems/troubleshooting, and essentially give your computer absolutely no "personality". You instead settle for a soulless, shining example of a "ricer" computer.
Pre-builts are often known for cheaping out on important parts, like a quality PSU, cutting corners on future expandability, and selling you a system with some shitty bottlenecking parts.
And finally, no one on Sup Forums will respect you, at the very least. If you ever decide to go there.
That is probably why you are getting sperg-surges and autistic-anal-attacks over an Alienware.
In short, look at this OP here in this forum:

^That is what we will think of you.
Finally. Thanks for explaining it to me so eloquently. I could care less what 4chin thinks of my pc. I just want something that will let me play current gen games. I think I have gotten enough advice in this thread to get me on the right track. Thanks again.
