ITT we predict the biggest bombs of Summer 2016

ITT we predict the biggest bombs of Summer 2016.

I'm assuming this and Warcraft, personally.

This literally looks like a porn flick.

I saw an advanced screening of this movie. It's ok.

North American box office: Warcraft

International: Ghostbusters

I think Nine Lives will be the worst film of the year though.

I have a new rule. Dont go to see rehashes or sequels.

So you don't go and watch any movies then?

wow samuel jackson put on a lot of weight for this role

Will Jane get APE'D

The Nice Guys

There are lots of films that are not sequels or rehashes. They dont get advertised as much.

Literally what porn are you watching, or are you a fucking alien?

I know you think you're being clever, but compared to the budget it wasn't the end of the world, Director's next movie is still greenlit.

An actual bomb would be something with a bigger budget-to-loss ratio. Like what's going to happen with Independence Day 2.

Warcraft is not gonna bomb, it has a surprisingly small budget for a CGI mess of a movie and it's going to be HUGE in China. Probably gonna do terribly in NA though, especially if reviews continue to suck

SEXIST

Ghostbusters

is that my nigger sgt brad??

>love story
>CGI creatures

but it fits with Will Smith's loadsemoney formula

pretty upsetting eric is going to have his career justed by this pile of shit

Yes. He deserves to be a movie star but not sure if this one is it. Especially when someone in Hollywood decided that Margot Robbie is the next big thing (SPOILERS: No).

I thought Will Smith's formula was he plays some genius model of physical perfection, and then he uses the profits to put his kids in movies.

Relax, he was in Battleship.

TO WATCH HIM KICK YOUR WIFE IN THE MOUTH

Can't argue. Ant-Man was pretty meh, and it's not like there are any humans jizzing their shorts for a Benedict Cumberbatch movie. I mean, Sherlock fans obviously, but I don't really think there's enough of those to buy $100 million worth of tickets in North America.

nice job OP

It's going to be one by Disney standards.

>Independence Day 2
>us 90's kids: the flick
>bombing

What is his name again?

>these keep getting made
>they keep making decent amounts of money
>nobody talks about them in real life
>they get mediocre reviews
>never hear anything about them after they're released

Explain this shit to me. Is there a hidden market for these kinds of movies? Is it China?

Not sure why/how you deleted your original post, but whatevs.

Bazinga Cowabunga

there are no standards anymore, impossible to tell but:

1. beauty and the beast
2. whatever blockbuster is starring jennifer lawrence next

I was a 90's kid. I'm old now and have no desire to see a cash-in by a director who is only making a sequel 20 years later because he's had exactly zero hits between then and now.

And Millennials don't give a fuck about the 90's, so there you go.

Bendydick Cuminabitch

That would be the next X-men movie, opening in like three days... it won't bomb, but it will do less well than the last one and "industry experts are scratching their heads as to why such a great cast could lead to mediocre returns."

It's because First Class was outstanding and DOFP was just meh in comparison, Bryan Singer is fuckin' over the hill.

Jay Loh is gonna appear on a movie with MISTER MEMES CHRIS PRATT

>digimon hounsou

Ghostbusters and ID42

But Spiderboy is doing a cameo in this movie.

>Have more blacks than whites in a movie
>Thinking it will bomb

>Agenda pushing Jews will stop throwing money at things that push their agenda

What are you even on about. Tom Holland is in X-Men?

1) If he is, he already made his debut in Captain America, so who cares, or
2) No he's not, because a different studio owns the rights to the X-Men franchise.

Go away.

>originaljoke.jpg

Can you read?

>go to weekday matinee showing of civil war thinking it's going to fairly empty
>stuck between a morbidly obese guy and a black woman who is already talking way too much
>tarzan trailer plays and ends
>retards on either side of me say it looks great

I saw that today, was bretty gud. Is it underperforming commercially or something?

>Spiderboy

Assuming there's an actual Spiderboy, and not just some cute way you were referencing Spider-Man....

THAT'S EVEN WORSE. Who gives a fuck about a spiderboy?

He meant spiderman is gonna be in dr strange

...

Yeah, $11 million opening weekend, making it 4th place in North America.

The budget was only about $50 million tho so it'll make its money back. Great flick.

Yeah, don't give a fuck about that either. They teased the character, now give us a new movie or STFU.

>Scott Derrickson
NNNNNNNNNNOPE

>No one has yet mentioned "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows."

That will succeed, just not break the bank

Professor Unusual

>he doesn't talk movies with his frien-

oh, sorry.
