What went so absolutely fucking right in every way?

What went so absolutely fucking right in every way?

It's a very good movie, but not a great movie. The ending is kind of unsatisfying since it only makes sense from the audiences perspective. Why did killing the Omega send him back to the beginning of the movie? In his world that would be an arbitrary destination point. It's still a better ending than the manga though.

>It's still a better ending than the manga though.

What was it?

Didn't read the manga but apperantly Rita and the Main was still trapped inside a loop, and they had to kill the other one to stop it... or something like that.

Rita dies

It was a "popcorn blockbuster" that wasn't insultingly stupid.

Everything

it was near perfect. the third act was blunt as fuck. other than that, literally 10/10 the movie

They both still have the ability to resurrect in the manga and the only way to escape the cycle is for them to fight to the death. That's what I've been told at least, I never read it myself.

It should have been called Live. Die. Repeat.

Rita became the conductor for the time loops so Rita attacked MC because he refused to kill her. Basically in the end MC kills her but the war is far from over and still going on albeit with the advantage of the Aliens gone. Also MC gets his title by amerifats at the and calling him Killer Cage (MC's name is Kiriya Keiji) which was pretty funny.

Pointing out it's based on a Light Novel

Bill Paxton was my favourite in this movie. Most friendly Sergeant ever.

Doug Liman is p good

It didn't make enough money to get a sequel so we don't have to watch a sequel

>fucking xDD

Doug Liman is pure garbage. Greengrass' Bourne is the only good Bourne. Identity makes me cringe everytime

KILL ANOTHER DAY

>the third act was blunt as fuck
>blunt

nice

Why does it make you cringe?

>Greengrass' Bourne is the only good Bourne

Incorrect. Way too much shakycam.

>Greengrass
>Shakey cam x50

I have that shot of the foe rising up from the floor with the pencil in his hand, man is so ridiculous. I can't understand how peoplo don't see how different second and third movies are

good shakycam. The only god one, in fact.

it works.

I have that shot carved in my mind, I meant

>when he smiles at Vrataski at the end
>I NEEEED TO KNOOOOW NOW

It felt really, really good senpai.

>genre mash-up allowed for originality
>Cruise and Blunt are always great
>genuinely humour
>memorable set pieces

Thankfully Tom Cruise still wants to make good action movies. He's virtually the only beacon of light for the genre amidst the sea of cancerous capeshit, remakes and YA adaptations.

Groundwar Day

good movie

no quips

tom cruise was the actor

that last scene where he grin at the vraski

he fucking knows whats up

The last part was boring and generic

nothing from the third act desu, although that's only my opinion I can see why others liked it but third act took from an 8 to a 7 for me

Cruise always delivers and it had pic related, who also always delivers.

Search the archive for last time you made this thread, fucktard.

This is the best bait I've seen on Sup Forums

action female character who doesn't act all arrogant brick.

>emily blunt will NEVER step on your balls
just die in my sleep already
( ._.) ( ;_;)

>adapted from Japanese novel : All you need is kill

it was good because you got to see tom cruise die over and over

As sick as I am as that tax evading scientologist, that movie was very well done.

and I don't mean like a very well done steak, I mean like a medium rare thick and juicy steak.

except that book is hardly more than a manga without pictures, it's only novelty is that it's a competent piece of sci fi writing from a nonwestern writer
