I meant I'm a coward more in the sense that potentially being shot at is not worth less-than-minimum-wage pay, selling my soul to the maple leaf and becoming a drone is not my style, and I also fear I could one day be given an order I strongly disagree with on moral or logical grounds that I would be compelled by my own limited conscience to disobey.
I had a fantastic rapport with most of my English/language arts teachers because I was the only one in my class reading and writing at an adult level, and my HS history teacher and I are still pretty chill. I remember having an hour-long conversation with guns about him after school one day.
