Can we bring back concise 10 track LPs with no filler? Thanks.

>store specific bonus tracks
>best tracks on the album
fucking sellouts

>Japan only bonus tracks
Fuck, can someone explain why that's a thing?

Ya I've always wondered that

Japan taxes music heavily, so CDs are really expensive to buy for consumers. The bonus tracks are to entice them to buy anyway.

reparations for hiroshima

it's really bugging me that you didn't just say >more than 15 tracks or whatever

name one album with 16 or 18 tracks

crystal castles - s/t

>extra tax on a culturally significant and incredibly important art form that should be easily accessible to everyone
Japan what the fuck.

art is a bourgeois luxury

Stop having ADHD

that album could've been 10/10 if it was 10 songs

its not about the length its about the quality. it's extremely rare that i find an album over 12 tracks where EVERY song is good

>Implying this is in any way, shape or form, full of filler.

>culture should be kept out of the hands of the proletariat

you get super gulag

I agree.

The artist should release those weaker tracks once in a while in some kind of compilation that's understood to be a collection of bonus tracks for the more dedicated fans who want more of the artist, not an official album that the artist is putting out there.

Seems very reasonable for me.
I bet you thought the 90% tax rate for The Beatles was unjust but not for business owners.

this

The whole album is filler

>19 tracks
>less than 40 minutes long

What did he mean by this?

Stop posting this unfunny Tim & Eric shit I'm cringing fäm.

LMAO

Also because most of the time albums are released in japan a long time after the actual release - compensation
