Technically speaking, but that guy was obviously talking about speed specifically (since speed is much cheaper to produce and is often used as a filler). MDMA is a substituted amphetamine but anyone who has done it can tell you the effects are distinctly different from common methamphetamine. Speed doesn't give the same empathetic or euphoric effects.

How much does that look like to you in the OP pic? I've been trying to eyeball it. I have no idea how big OPs hand is, but I could guess like .5 or so. Last few times I've bought mdma it's come in the light brown/kind of clear crystal form. This looks like it was powdered up and pressed together.

He's technically correct from a medical perspective. An overdose is exceeding the prescribed dose. If there's no prescribed dose (even something just written on the side of the over the counter medication) then taking any would be an overdose.

under 450mg is fine, beyond that you'll probably end up with long-lasting nerve damage but it won't kill you.
