What is the best shot in capeshit history

and why is it pic related

This
Best capeshit too

>Hey, we all could really use your help
>Naw, I'm just gonna stare at you

it's funny cuz he's literally playing that same character in the next Spider-man

...

...

>Implying

Pick pretty much any Snyder shot

It was an origin story user.

This.

True CapeKino

how can Disney even compete?

>no mystery men

Fucking shame.

Plebs get out

>literally just a copy of all star superman

hack

By making a billion dollars.

BANAB?

You mean Vulture and not Birdman you dumbass?

Money doesn't equal quality, moron.

shoo shoo

...

Thats how they compete

you're just too ignorant to understand

Not even the best shot of the montage

>not BAMAB
you don goof'd famm

This is so bland. kys senpai.

A good shot should have actual relevance to the plot. Something like this is better, and as an adaptation this is actually from a comic

This.

Look I'm not saying Supes just left a doomed family stranded, but just cutting from this shot gives such unnecessary ambiguity. Now we can't know for sure and have to consider that fucking superman left a family to die because Zack wants to force more Jesus imagery and do nothing with it. It adds to the uncomfortable feel of the movie. Instead of us seeing Superman saving someone heroically, we see him just float there, like he's contemplating whether to save him or not literally playing God.

pleb

Is that what he told them?

Fag

By making something that people like.

...

You honestly have to be completely retarded not to understand that Superman saved those people.

Shot made 100% for trailer purposes.
In the movie it makes no sense.
Why is he up there?
Why is he not helping them?

That's what BvS and MoS are, movies to make trailers out of them, nothing more.

>you share the board with people this simple
God damn it.

If that film-student tier trash is the best shot in capeshit, there's no hope in the entire genre.
The Dark Knight is probably the most beautiful capeshit if you have cinematography in mind.

Should I think that blatant, in-your-face ''SUPERMAN IS JESUS'' shot is somehow deep or something?

A good shot has plot relevance.
When you go out of your way to make a pretty shot, you are a failure.

If that's all you got from it, then that's all you got from it.

Can't be. He's not smiling at them and waving while approaching.

I don't doubt for a second that Superman would save those people.

This is Snyder Man though. He's conflicted on what he's supposed to do and the advice both his Earth parents gave them is to fuck humanity, you're far more important.

He's probably thinking if his cape will get wet if he goes near them.

>Why is he up there?
>Why is he not helping them?
wtf? did u see the movie? he descended from the sky to save that womans family
retard

Tell me, what did Snyder's ''vision'' tell you?
What deep message does this 250 million Superman blockbuster tell you?

...

Snyder is returning the Man of Tomorrow to his stripped down, asshole roots
Based Synder, godfather of capekino

But why is he floating in that shot?
Why is the woman trying to reach out for him when he's far in the air?
Why is Snyder such a talentless hack that he has to go out of his way and make people act like retards to get pretty shots?

Forgot my image

Funny enough, I'd he did copy ASS, it would be a far better Jesus imagery than what we got.

He didn't descend. He was staying still. And for quite a while too.

>Tell me, what did Snyder's ''vision'' tell you?
His vision told me how to care about a character I never cared about before.

No it didn't becuase Superman has no personality.
No one has any personality in MoS, or BvS.

lol it was slow motion and he did descend. im watching my rip right now
u contrarians on Sup Forums will bitch about anything
even capeshit. thats how pedantic and anal you are haha

But Supes smiles and shows a wide range of other emotions in those.

Henry never does anything but mope

stop replying to stale bait

>contrarians
Isn't contrarian the one who does the opposite of what the majority does?
Contrarian would be liking such a piece of trash.

Everyone is entitled to their opion.

picking anything other than Raimi or Burton just exposes your plebicity.

What ambiguity? It's pretty obvious that he saved those people, they just didn't show it. He wouldn't just leave them stranded there, he's fucking Superman for Christ's sake.

Exactly, it was a cheap, disjointed shot so that fanboys could put it in a cinemagrid.
The movie is full of moments like that, money shots meant to take screenshots of and post them in forums.

Stop replying to stale bait.

/thread

I think he smiled when he throwing Batman around, even when he was supposedly trying to not fight him

>But why is he floating in that shot?
He's Superman, that's what he does.

He just flew there, were you expecting him to land, go over to the front door in the middle of a flood and start pounding on the door HELLO? ANYONE IN THERE?! I know I just saw you guys on the roof but, ya know....H-HELLO?!!

it made 900 million and most people i know loved it
if youre only friends are rotten tomatoes critics that got paid by disney to hate on it, then i guess ur right. but for normal people ur one of those amateur film critic/fashionisto fags every one hates

Haha remember when they had Jimmy Olson shot in the FUCKING HEAD in BvS Haha

Obviously

>and most people i know loved it
But apart from Jamal everyone in your class is under 18

>people i know loved it
The people you know are a minority.
This movie had a massive opening of 500 million dollars, and it ended up at 870.
Why?
The only possible answer is terrible word of mouth.
Any other movie slightly liked would have broken the billion barrier without any issues.

That's literally my favorite shot in the entire movie. Gives me chills for some reason.

>ur
Your flick was trash, get over it.

Probably cause the AC at your theater was cranked up and the scenery gives the impression of it being cold

Better shot, while conveying the same message.

>but for normal people ur one of those amateur film critic/fashionisto fags every one hates
THIS. SO MUCH THIS
Sup Forums in a nutshell. I kept seeing all these comments about actor's clothing in threads and wondered if it was a joke or bait. But now I get it. A majority of Sup Forums are those homos that sit around shitting on other people and creative works while chatting about fashion and movies that disappoint them.

>3D money shot

This is absolutely disgusting.
Seriously, why is the CGI in MoS and BvS so bad?

LMAO fuck off with your rotten shit flicks

The MoS trailer was better than the movie, so maybe you're on to something.

>Nolan
>cinematography

more like
>uninspired shots of generic-looking large American city

This shot looked awful

It looked even worse in motion

If you're going to cherry pick, at least cherry pick shots from MoS. That film had far better material to work with

Just ignore the Smallville fight

If you hate Sup Forums so much, there's another site you can go to.

And this is the most succesful movie of the year, the most succesful capeshit of the year, and the 4th most succesful superhero movie ever made.
Stay mad as fuck.

but that's wrong, user

>being THIS much of a pleb

was looking for this

>no CIA shot
Look at this, it's GOAT cinematography.

...

That shot is phenomenal on so many different levels.

Truly the most iconic shot of the 21st century. You could break it down to as little as 3 pixels and it would still be recognizable to anyone. Name one other shot in cinema history that's that recognizable. You can't.

>Jesus walks on water
>Superman walks on water carrying the ship (the sins in this case the burden of saving humanity)

POETRY ABSOLUTE POETRY

THANK YOU BASED SNYDER

THANK YOU ;_;

Leave, Snyder.

del toro did it first

His poncho gets longer as the movie progresses. Subtle way of showing he's accepting the role of a hero & his abilities.

it really is my favourite movie of all time

...

>He's conflicted on what he's supposed to do and the advice both his Earth parents gave them is to fuck humanity, you're far more important.

They weren't just thinking about their son. They were thinking of the impact knowledge of his presence would have on humanity. That's what they were cautioning him against - stepping into that role before he was sure he was ready for it because as a wise man once said:

"No, a *person* is smart. *People* are stupid, panicky animals."

That's what we're seeing throughout BvS - how the stupid, panicky animals react to the presence of a being representative of an alien species that is vastly superior to our own both from a technological as well as an evolutionary standpoint. Some people hate him, some people love him, (a bit too much) but few remain unpolarized in the light of what he represents.

>I could save you more quickly, but I want to float here for an uncomfortably long time, and scowl down at you.

That's not water

>Ice and snow isn't water

jfc. i'm out so fucking out.

and these are the people that keeps on bashing BvS jfc

This

don't bother explaining it to them mate. i grew tired after the first month.

I think Nolan is a hack as much as the next baneposter, but you have to admit at the very least his movies have some beautiful fucking shots

He does do a lot of generic establishing shots of cities tho I'll give you that

Superman also flies through clouds
Is he walking on water then too?

>flies
>walk
