surely they have more chances than handegg

Skateboarding is insanely difficult and a good workout though m8

it's not a sport though.

t. former skater

I thought this fad was kill in '05

I don't necessarily think it is either but apparently the Olympic committee disagreed

It's been accepted as a 2nd tier sport like chess and polo. Surfing and sports climbing is gonna be at 2020 as well

>woodflip
>a sport

Isn't there a new blink-182 album for you to go listen to.

lots of events in the olympics aren't sports

>skateboarding isnt a sport!!!!
>shooting targets with guns is

>woodflip

When did I say it was a sport you chucklefuck? I don't even skate anymore, but comparing it to video games is just dumb

They already have "Equestrian Arts" as a "Sport" so why not?

I guess you're right.

Why not make Roulette an Olympic sport while we are at adding random competitions to the Olympics to bloat it even more.

MMA When

The thing about esports is that you'll never get casual observers interested. the audience will always be limited to people who actually play the game. After a few years a game will naturally die off as interest dwindles.

>no Ju jitsu
>no muay thai
>no kickboxing
>no cricket/boreball
>skateboarding

Baseball is in lad

Right after Pro Vaping

youtube.com/watch?v=9puCt7HccOY

>no mock tank battle Olympic game
>put in skateboarding instead
Olympics pls this isnt 2000 where Tony pro skater is still popular with the youth

I don't see how people don't have a problem with snowboarding being in the olympics but get their panties in a bunch over skate boarding

inb4 chess

honestly if snowboarding is a sport in the winter olympics then skateboarding may as well be a sport in the summer olympics

i hope there are downhill events

In 2040 through virtual reality, specifically rts and fighting genres.

>Isn't there a new blink-182 album for you to go listen to
Yeah, but it's fucking terrible

>fucking airpistol
>"ok"
>skating
>"WHAAT? NOOOO WTFF"

>skateboarding

wtf is it 1998 again??

incubuslistening is not a sport

I was pretty glad that shit was finally dying off. This is not good news.

Isn't Skateboarding pretty popular in Brazil? I'm surprised they didn't include it in these Olympics rather than the next one.

When will shitposting become a sport?

You cuck

at least air pistol competitions can decide a winner by mathematical standards instead of using a glorified "america has talent" jury

i made it through the entire video, what do I win

when an australian becomes head of the IOC

real talk, how many sports in the olympics are more relevant than esports

soccer and bball can't think of anything else

wait they are a good band and I dont even skateboard

Isn't snowboarding enough at winter games?

They wanted to take out wrestling so they put in Rugby and Baseball.

They are over reaching too much

Speed free climb would be sick as fuck

>After a few years the game will naturally die off as interest dwindles
Somebody needs to inform CounterStrike of this, it's apparently severely overdue for it's scheduled "death".

>People think skaters listen to Incubus and Blink 182

you fuckers need to go outside

This.
It's Incubus, Blink 182, and vaporwave now.

I agree, we all listen to Avril Lavigne you dumbfucks

>No Jiu-jitsu/Aikido
You serious? They let boarding in but not those?

It's like your parents calling all of your game consoles a nintendo

>olympic games
>most sports are pseudo meme sports
Cant wait for balroom dancing and skydiving become olympic sports m8

Many other olympic sports use judges to determine the winners.

For enough money the Olympic committee would add synchronized bukkake.

this pretty much

blink 182 used to be awesome, please stop using them as an insult

This brought back soo many memories
>playing smash bros tournament with neighbors
>user don't play the nintendo all day

Hopefully soon

pige gold medal when

>vaporwave
holy mother of kek

i guess it would be kind of like gymnastic dance/figure skating and that.

I think downhill moutian bike would've been good if they wanted an extreme sport, either through the city like they do at some events or down a mountian pass.

outside sport so those without tickets can spectate and more people who aren't stuff like that would enjoy watching because how crazy it looks, similar to bobsleigh. only problem is it would be hard to 'make' a course if you're citys flat. wouldn't be near the olympic center they could end it near though.

doesn't redbull host a downhill mtb race through favelas? that shit would be perfect

But you are playing a nintendo

Dota 2016 International Championships is going on right now. There is a $20 million prize pool.
>They scheduled it so cunnyfags can't follow it at the same time

>tfw born too late to get a gold in city planning

>I actually have friends who '''''''''''compete''''''''''' in these events

I don't know who is a bigger loser them for doing that or me for willingly hanging out with said people

Just reminding everyone that riding a bicycle is a sport.

Neither is Chess yet the committee says it is. I mean fuck, people forget they almost took Roman wrestling out last time they voted

>woodflip
Wrong name m8.

dressing up and riding a horse is a sport

Esports will never be sports as long as the games are owned by companies.

For a video game to even be considered in the olympics it would need to be completely open source with no company holding the rights to it.

That's why it's in the Olympic Games.

Every athletic sport (track and field).
Rugby
Swimming
Cycling
Hockey

>Outdoor activities are sports

>fatpush
>gookclick
>turn left
>chong pong

holy fucking kek

dota is literally the worst thing ever

So only CS is getting close then.

But nobody would dream of watching early 2000's video game graphics running in clunky environments over bikini clad volleyball women or a sub 10 second 100m dash

Tennis and golf.
