Where's Bran and co. at the moment?

...

...

...

why is /got/ so dead?

is something going on tonight?

Where's Antarctica? Also what region did humans evolve in here?

...

>why is /got/ so dead?

The tv series is such shit even showfags now realize it.

>Where's Antarctica? Also what region did humans evolve in here?

Clearly humans evolved on Earth and were transported to Planetos at some point in the distant past.

...

Of course after they are shipped this happens but why did it have to be him!?

Do the Five Forts have their equivalent of the Night's Watch?

Say her name Dabid

SAY HER NAME

YOU RAPED HER. YOU MURDERED HER. YOU KILLED HER CHILDREN.

Nice edgy spoilers kid, are you 12?

ur still here fagot also gurm will always be a genus and this is his magnum o'piss

The Cave is in the Haunted Forest. Presumably he's headed south now.

Yep, it's sad to admit but what was once probably the greatest show on television is now arguably the worst.

So its confirmed Tommen an heroes this season.

Who becomes king after him?

> I'm just starting the books and

My friend tried to get me to read the books prior to the series but I unfortunately blew it off until mid-S01 and while it's ALWAYS better to read the book before watching the movie/tv show, the tv series is such shit that it hasn’t been a problem for me.

Also; only a barely illiterate teenager would skip chapters.

>ASOIAF really should have been adapted as an adult animation in the style of Avatar the Last Airbender

No, shitty Japanimation is garbage. Now an all-CGI GoT (that strictly follows the books) along the line of Avatar, I could get behind.

Is Jorah going to Asshai by the Shadow? I really hope so. I want some creepy weirdness.

>there are people who will believe this

nice try but thats fake. its from hivju's movie

Skipping Dany chapters in ADWD is entirely excusable.

What if Bran communicated with Hodor through gravity

Bromise me

>ur still here fagot also gurm will always be a genus and this is his magnum o'piss

At this point, I gotta see how the tv show ends.

>Yep, it's sad to admit but what was once probably the greatest show on television is now arguably the worst.

The worst part is there was no reason for the tv show to suck, it's all clearly laid out in the books and only requires a bit of editing and trimming to make it work as a tv series.

...

...

Only a disinterested person would skip chapters. This is only for a re-read of course, and at this point, many stories are still separate enough that you may as well skip and come back if a chapter is dooky enough.

> Don't cum inside, Rhaegar
The creampie that brought down a dynasty

Of course he'll die during bowf. We know Brienne is going off so it's only logical for the progression of the wildlings and her storyline

What I hate about GRRM's worldbuilding, even more than how incredibly illogical the linguistics and migrations are, is how pointless it is.
In Tolkien's Middle Earth every town, village, mountain range and forest had a purpose and we got to visit it and meet characters from there several times (though I can't think of very much from Harad or Rhun, but there are plenty characters from there and their role is explained).
By comparison most of Essos looks like he just couldn't think how to end it so he kept drawing a big rectangle until he got to the end of the page, and occasionally put a random dot and a name somewhere.

The books get so much better if you imagine Reek as a cute femboy.

Which?

KINVARA

When re-reading it's perfectly acceptable to skip chapters but not the first time around, especially when you're coming to the story from the shitty tv show.

What the fuck is in Carcosa? And is there Winged Men?

>like he just couldn't think how to end it so he kept drawing a big rectangle until he got to the end of the page, and occasionally put a random dot and a name somewhere.

This is also his approach to writing the whole series

I would love a manga adaptation of GoT myself. Animated/non-shit comic wouldn't have to make concessions for budget or muh grimdark.

guys there's a bunch of porn being spammed in the catalog where are the mods?

3/10

Old D&D player here and IMO, the best fantasy world was Harn or Encyclopedia Harnica; a straight-up analog for a quasi-medieval Earth (i.e. rump Roman Empire, ancient Egypt, Vikings, etc.) but highly detailed with text backing up all the cool maps.

It's more like real life this way. Everything that matters happens on a small continent filled with white people.

My favorite rereading is by the characters chapters. Other than Daenerys. I barely made it through the first time.

the dany chapters are fine until she meets daario

Is there any hope for Rickon Stark? Him and Shaggydog are my favorite starks.

he gets killed this season, arrow'd by Ramsay, so to answer your question, no hope.

show me the body

...

Are John Snow and Kelly C Mary Sues in the books as well?

...

This. You can skip on rereads.

I would say first 2 read thoughs, no skipping, because that way you actually LEARN about every character.

We see their flaws better because the story is from their perspectives.
Jon was stubborn to a fault and blind to his brother's dissent
Daenerys is an annoying incompetent teenage girl surrounded by protectors

Not nearly as much as in the show.

Daenerys is.

Jon isn't as much. He did at least get shanked for his fuck ups. The worst thing to happen to Dany is squatting at sunset.

The mods, like the dragons, will be here in a few seasons.
There's an American comic book adaptation of the first book. actually.

Dany is ignorant af

I will, on episode 9.

+1 (you)

Wednesday evening is typically dead, I found. I avoid uploading artwork at this time, for that very reason.

...

It's alright but I really didn't like what I saw of it.

R+L=J

And yet she still gets everything she wants and if she doesn't all she has to do is say muh dragons. Also she's hot, everybody falls in love with her, and despite being a terrible leader nothin happens to her

...

> The worst thing to happen to Dany is squatting at sunset.

Grows up living on the run
Psycho brother
Sold to Carl Horse Cock Drogo
Assassination attempt
Husband and son killed by a witch
Forced to flee into the desert
Pyat Pree tries to magick her
Xaro tries to scam her
Another assassination attempt
Meereenese terrorists
Yunkish invasion
Squatting at sunset

ROBERT+LYANNA

Literal marysue somebody kill her pls

it's crazy how deluded dany haters are

what the fuck is benjen getting up to and why does he abandon bran and meera at the wall!? he probably won't even leave them his valyrian sword which he got from the night's fort

Considering that a large portion of her later misfortune is her own fault I wouldn't call her a Mary Sue. Just plot-armored.

>deluded
i mean delusional jeez

>Cast him

Gylbert Farwynd is right

Jacob of House Jewstark

Brandon Stark + Ashara Dayne = Jon Snow
Rhaegar Targaryen + Lyanna Stark = Daenerys Targaryen
Eddard promises Lyannna
Returns Dawn to Ashara at Castle Starfall
Discovers Jon, trades him for Daenerys
Ashara fakes her suicide, becomes “Septa Lemore”
Smuggles Daenerys to Pentos to be with Ser Willem Darry and Viserys
Joins Jon Connington to raise and train Aegon the Reconqueror

Renly + Loras

could the lands of always winter go over the pole and meet up with the grey waste?

>Cast them

That's a very complicated conspiracy which changes absolutely nothing.

who?

Which POV character sections have you enjoyed most overall?

>bran having heavy security
dornishman no one even know who bran actor even is beside the branfag tards on /got/.

Even Emilia and Dinklage are by themselves in public sometime, bran having "heavy security" is ridiculous.

0/10.

sansa

Jaime

Twin reveal when?

Arya or Jon's. I expect the dip both suffered in ADwD will be remedied in TWoW judging by the path the show took/Mercy.

Slavery is an evil that should be stamped out and from what Vogarro's Whore implied, all the slaves of Volantis and everywhere else will rise up to join Daenerys.

Not a regular here, and I'm wondering:

do people often come in to shit talk Martin and champion Tolkien?

I read through the books a few years back and honestly found the whole series hollow.

next episode obv

I still don't get the whole hodor thing. So bran was in the past, then he warged into hodor from the past? So was he controlling hodor when he was pulling the cart? Then why was he still able to look around in the past? Was he doing both at once? And then he randomly wargs into the past hodor or something... wtf

Tyrion

Tolkien isn't mentioned all that often. Obviously Tolkien is the fantasy gold standard, but Martin and Tolkien were trying to achieve different things and approached them quite differently. It's apples and oranges.

>dat set

where could I get my hands on such items

setting aside that the answer is actually "never", the ToJ wrap up is most likely in episode 10

The way I understood it was that Bran controlled Hodor in the present, but since he was dicking around in the past, he accidentally touched past Hodor too. He did it accidentally, he can't control his power as well when using it through time, and past Hodor would be harder to control because he wasn't retarded-- all of this caused Bran to fuck up and break Hodor.

Any ideas on what arya is going to be doing in westeros other than trying to kill walder?

What's jon's /sansa's plan of action after he takes back winterfell and becomes king of the north? Head to blackfish or some shit? Apparently that's where brienne is going.

What is going to be happening with dorne in the finale? Why do we give a fuck about them? Girl power and allying with dany or something?

What the fuck has benjen been doing all these years and why will he ditch bran and meera after he escorts them to the wall?

I'm bouncing between he either warged through past hodor to get to present hodor or he skipped past hodor altogether but somehow past hodor got mixed into it. Not sure which is right

I’d wait until GRRM finishes the series, as there’s no guarantee the publisher will produce matching editions for Book #6 and #7 to complete the set.

Of course, there’s no guarantee GRRM will ever finish the series…
