I always time my quitting taking is so its wearing off right when I'm going to sleep... First time, before i knew to do that, come down was awful... Sleep it off and you literally won't even notice it... Always feel great the next morning.

I was hooked on these fuckers and all other opiates for years. Bars occasionally, especially if I couldn't find opiates and was withdrawing. My opinion Xanax reduces the warm fuzziness you get from opiates. Sober from drugs for over 6 months now. Not trying to preach, but do yourself a favor and quit now.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, was showering and beating off. Tbh since getting out of rehab my quality of life has been slowly improving. Finally am able to hold a job, (never could before because if I didn't have opiates I'd be dope sick and didn't wanna get out of bed.) I'm able to hang out with friends and go on trips without having to worry about running out of pills. But I'm still trying to figure out how to cope with being SO SOOO fucking bored all the time. Also idk what your drug of choice is, but if it's downers like opiates, when you get sober your senses and nerves begin to come alive again and seriously you wanna beat off like 5 times a day and can nut in like 2 mins flat. I suggest sobriety, just don't take everything counselors or therapists tell you to literally. The key is to figure out the way to do it while maintaining comfort. I don't buy into God and 12 step meeting s n shit for instance. I meditate and also still drink responsibly every now and then. It doesn't all have to be miserable.

Xanax plus alcohol=jail or dead or getting laid if it's just the perfect cocktail. Ambien is a good sleep aid, but nowhere near as pleasant as Xanax

If you're an adult and know how to responsibly sip alcohol you'll find mixing the two pleasant (Xanax and alcohol.) I still don't recommend it though because your confidence is so high you feel like you can so easily drink more and more. You think you're talking and sounding fine 100% when really you're drooling on yourself/falling asleep/stealing shit. A few beers is fine, just don't drink if you're young and just trying to get fucked up. In all likelihood jail is more common than death. Me and countless other friends of mine all have DWI's because of this exact mix. And when I mention death I mean because you get in a wreck or walk into oncoming traffic. But you can still die from respiratory failure by mixing the two. I sugges you heed this advice. Hope I don't sound preachy or arrogant but sadly I'm pretty educated via experience on this topic.

I like them cause they do help me get to sleep. They do come in handy during the day if there's a ton of things happening that initiate anxiety but I find I can get by just fine during the day with marijuana.
The only bad thing about them, (for me), is that if I take too much during the day I just get SUPER FUCKING BORED. It just flatlines me till I no longer care about ANYTHING.
Can't take interest in anything, total absolute boredom. Almost to the point that it becomes maddening. So I tend not to take them during the day.
Now if coupled with something else, like marijuana or oxy or something then yeah they are great.
But if I take too much I feel absolutely NOTHING, no emotion, no interest in anything, it's just kinda shitty recreationally unless paired with something else imo. Just flattens me out too much and life is boring because you simply do not care about anything.
But taking it for it's purpose, (sleep, anxiety), yeah they are great.

There is another option though worth looking into google Kratom for opiate withdrawl. It activates the same receptors in the brain that opiates do and is very very safe and not addictive least not for me. Lot of ppl come off this way dirt cheap legal and safe.
I use to self medicate my anxiet with Xanax. I would responsibly consume 2mg a day. Didn't abuse them or anything, and they did help. Holy shit though I would get so ducking bored. I could be watching Shawshank fucking Redemption for the very first time and I'd be thinking.."fuck this movie is long and boring." Same with porn and women IRL as well. Which consequently made it easier to pick up women because I never gave a shit, then wouldn't be able to cum. Morning waking up next to them was always a good fuck though.

Yeah you are me on all levels except the the self medicating part. The dr's didnt warn me that it was gonna flatten me out so much, had to figure it out for myself.
But yeah, once you get to that point you lose total interest in EVERYTHING. I kept listening to the same audiobook all day because it was my favorite book, and couldn't gain any interest in discovering or trying out new things.
I've since learned from this experience so I keep it under control. Yeah the panic and ptsd shit sucks, but taking too much xanax, (without something to accompany it to make it fun), made me so ultra bored that I started to really hate my life.
It's all about moderation, in all things. Getting to the flatline point that I got to was probably more dangerous than not having any at all.

Yeah if it works for you keep it up man. Kratom very mildly helped with my w/d's but not enough to make me not feel sick and get me up and fuctional. It also made my burps taste like super potent tea and grass lol. Suboxone works you just have to have self discipline and taper yourself off. Also I can find the 30 mg roxys pretty often. Legit OC oxys though is another story. Ever try opanas? Very rare but probably the best opiate high I ever had.

oh I dont do opiates just know a lot of people who do there are also many types of kratom and different strengths. So if you tried a weak one maybe thats why? but if you can get suboxone and it works yeah go that route just kratom is cheap and easy to get. I dont like opiates personally because I had an ex I was with for 4 yrs she was addicted to percs real bad.
