Is HMN "less known?"
Holocaust - Prog era (1989 until today)
Seems rather underwhelming at first, but this band is a damn big grower. Listen carefully and enjoy.
Some dude
I was trying to figure out what the intro sounded like to me and it just struck me: That Madonna song:
Anyway, I enjoyed it enough to listen all the way through.

Pretty good recent hardcore on the metallish side, from ex Cro-Mag Harley.

Traditional mongol music is fucking rad, and it combines really well with rock and metal.
This was pretty good.

The guitar and bass at 4:52 are pretty sick
Not op, but does anyone have suggestions of albums/artists that sound like Marilyn Manson? Preferably like Portrait of an American Family, Smells Like Children, and Antichrist Superstar?

Also found these guys recently, pretty excited for their debut album.
I consider myself a rather experienced listener, but I have to admit that later-era Holocaust is difficult music. Definitely nothing you will 'get' on a first listen. But it is so damn rewarding.
Someone compared it to "A Social Grace" by Psychotic Waltz, and I can now understand it.
If you don't know Psychotic Waltz and that specific album, and you like progressive music, listen to it NOW.

The music is just as busy as the album cover, but don't let that keep you from paying attention.
i have been listening to mainly atmospheric and slow metal and i say it's really refreshing to listen to some plain heavy metal after a while
have some finnish gothic rock with post-punk influences
I didn't read the OP but I would love to suck that dude's dick, have any more?
if you like melodeath:
