LSD

Working on a playlist for my next trip. Would be cool if I could get some input from other Sup Forumstants as to what I should add.

Ween - Don't Sweat It

sundown syndrome by tame impala and just anything from piper at the gates of dawn by pink floyd

...

>innerspeaker
>piper at the gates of dawn
seconding this. both excellent choices

Pink Floyd

Wait, do they PRINT OUT LSD???

I'm just going to post songs that I've had the most fun listening to while flying high.

1/?

Any Colour You Like

2/?

Sun King

Listen to the Many Faces Out of Focus and When You're Gone EPs by Lapalux. Ignore the albums, his early work was better.

If you're man enough

this

3/?

Würm

I listened to this on shrooms the other day and it kicked ass. Also its a short listen, so you don't have to get too invested.

Adding ween- its gonna be

4/?

Keep On Lying

Thanks for the rec, man
I just might

Yes, LSD is just coloured paper, its the symbol that gives it its drug effect.

...

Shrooms > LSD
Either way though Infant Dressing Table is literally beyond words on drugs

Lol loser

probably the best anco album to listen to period thats for sure

check out pic related, OP:

youtube.com/watch?v=dtWS2IXsLf0

youtube.com/watch?v=8scHKFwr0og

youtube.com/watch?v=thNClVJh6gw

Funny enough, I actually had most of these songs on the playlist.

Sundown Syndrome wasn't on Innerspeaker, it's still one of their best songs though.

Ghost - Hazy Paradise

Good Vibrations by the Beach Boys

Lateralus

Recommend any album by The Books.

Were my goto for trips back when I did acid a lot.

youtube.com/watch?v=8Cx10MrMYB4

youtube.com/watch?v=NNKKcoyQPis

OH man I remember when I first did acid, and I had no idea what to expect and my friend bought the way out and we listened to it. I have never heard the books and it was just mind blowing ply awesome. it felt like I was listening to the dark side of the moon of my generation

It's actually on the bonus disc of the extraspeaker cd, and was played around the time he was writing the album

Voyage 34 by Porcupine Tree

Relayer by Yes (Close to the Edge would be cool too)

The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys by Traffic

Frank Ocean - Self Control

dont

Drugs make you an emotional and spiritual midget. I'd rather gain a deeper appreciation of music through understanding music theory than MUH DOPAMINE and fuck my brain.

wew

bad idea OP dont do it

this

why is Sup Forums so predictable?

>lol dude drugs! xD

Oh, right, this is the designated board for teenagers, nevermind.

DMT > Shrooms

...

lmao let some people have fun you fucking loser

pretty sure theres plenty of old people doing drugs

>pretending not to like acid so strangers on the internet will think you're cool

Riders on the Storm

agreed. music is just annoying and distracting on DMT, though

Pink Floyd The Final Cut

youtu.be/-XT83-EgCS8

Here you go OP, put this on about one or two hours into the trip and maybe a few other songs by NWW shortly after and really enter yourself.

Good luck buddy.

youtube.com/watch?v=FRKl6K4oDYU

Exuma's discography.

>hurr durr how dare you try using recreational drugs for the sake of feeling good for a few hours

not like he does it everyday, you can't do LSD everyday.

I'm totally clean (rarely drink, never smoke) so I don't know what the ideal trip music is, but I like to go out in the nature in the summer, lie under a tree and listen to Dopesmoker with headphones.
or Dead Meadow's first album
or Radio Moscow

I think these might be a bit wild for an LSD trip

get some King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard in that bitch

youtube.com/watch?v=0dtkfpTwDxU

DUdeeeeee there's this epic chillwave album called Tycho - Dive It's like so chill n stuff
oh and tame impala it's also very chill

soundcloud.com/ritualoflight/sets/the-journey-will-end-in-light

watched the video for The River on acid, shit was amazing

Donovan - a gift from a flower to a garden

The Doors - The End
Pink Floyd - Careful With That Axe Eugene (Live at Pompeii ver.)
Flying Lotus - auntie's arp

this. It will make your testees tingle

>MUH DOPAMINE
literally the chemical your brain releases when you hear good music.

...

I personally know somebody who developed an anxiety disorder after having a small dose of mushrooms, did the same dose on the same weekend and and felt next to nothing
moral of the story respect your substances
>inb4 heresay

I like this a lot. How are their other albums?

Have funk crywanking your way through the weekend, buddy
Sorry you don't know what having friends is like

Lol I had a really bad trip once and blacked out while doing crazy shit but one of the first things that I remember doing as I was being brought home was asking for my phone so I could listen to Dopesmoker.

youtube.com/watch?v=eI_CDYf31yA

this
I strongly recommend this to OP, there's nothing like listening to this in an empty room in total silence (and I never even did drugs)

How hard is it to "recover" from a bad trip?

Matte Kudasai is essential.

There other ways to trigger dopamine, like being a dick on internet forums, esp if youre an asshole

It took me months and I'd say I'm over it by now but it had me very depressed and paranoid for a while. I don't know how to go about recovering but for me personally, the things that fucked me up stayed with me and I would constantly question the world around because of them which caused the paranoia which was the main issue. I just lived with it and did my best to learn from it and eventually everything was ok. There was also a really weird aspect of the trip in which I was constantly questioning my sexuality which must have been frustrating to deal with since I was naked at the time. This also ended up causing a lot of insecurity but I'm over it all now. I don't know if I answered your question but if you have more feel free to ask.

Has anyone here tripped to harsh music like this before? This album has some beautiful moments that could blow your mind on acid.

It happened to me after several years doing acid and enjoying it

I did it alone, listened to some fucked up industrial music SPK "information overload unit" and a fucking evil fear I had never felt before came over me

it went away, but when I came down I knew I had fucked myself up

6 month later I was in the mental hospital hallucinating out of nowhere, completely overwhelmed by anxiety

this was 20 years ago, I still have massive anxiety that I can't get rid of

I was able to finish college, but after couldn't cope with normal society, I had a few girlfriends here and there (all crazy bitches)

now I'm in my 50's, no house, living in a small apartment, no wife, no gf, no family, no friends

I may have turned out the same without the bad trip, I'll never know

still enjoy listening to music a lot, but to this day this creeps me out

youtu.be/xDwGAJ4FnA8

I also prefer shrooms. LSD can be quite stimulating, which isn't really my cup of tea. It also lasts longer, so even when I take it in the morning I still have a bit of trouble sleeping when night-time comes around.

>feel free to ask.
not the same user
just wondering if you had to take medications

do you have a "normal" life now?

youtube.com/watch?v=ItW3HnEtQsw

Wow I've listened to some slightly spooky stuff on acid but early-era SPK sounds like an absolutely shit idea.

youtube.com/watch?v=qIaSfaNR354

youtube.com/watch?v=ZHI18vd9IJE

Try Jarre.

>an absolutely shit idea.
yep, it sure fucking was

this is fucking good

Foxtrot by genesis was an interesting listen when I took a few tabs the other day

>slant-spiderville.png
kek

I Am The Walrus and Strawberry Fields.

I feel bad for you though, you been living with for a while but I hope it gets better. Remember kids acid is fun but you become quite vulnerable so do it at a safe place and don't listen to spooky industrial

hi dad

This actually worked wonders for me on my first trip.
LSD doesn't give you a deeper appreciation of music though. Bad music sounds terrible and the same goes with music you don't like.
It's just normal people like listening to music while they take drugs if that's what they do with almost all of their sober time too lmao

youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGD8flLsx5kZWce7_m4Mt1IC7dGuetEU7

Here's just some random shit ive tripped to i guess:
youtube.com/watch?v=agrtWywsBDc
youtube.com/watch?v=FaVEZnbpvtE
youtube.com/watch?v=H9jvzVuYRyY
youtube.com/watch?v=Hj7ncX3nC0g
youtube.com/watch?v=Hj7ncX3nC0g

Listened to this once on a trip and felt like I was living in the Jetsons

Thanks for the thread OP, I had to work on new years and was planning on tripping. I could really use some albums for my playlist as well since ill be dropping soon.

Here is a KingGizzard album that isn't on spotify that I'll be listening to.
