Why don't you go read books or something since clearly you're just reading lyrics instead of listening to music?

actually giving it a try, I like summer babe. It just gives me that Velvet Underground sound with pop punk I guess? So I dig.
Polvo did it better.
this is better
seconding this. was ahead of its time in my opinion as a sound.
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA, u turbo pleb kek
seconded, pavement is garbage, I could post literally any album and 90% of the time it would be better than that crap.
...
lol okay hit me up with considerably better 90s indie rock albums than S&E. Oh wait you probably can't :^)
Any Archers of Loaf album
Bee Thousand
Perfect From Now On
Any Smashing Pumpkins 90's release
>Archers of Loaf
Not even the best 90s alt rock band from N.C. That title would belong to Bitch Magnet or Seam
>Bee Thousand
Ehh, it really is a bunch a of half baked song vignettes my dude. Robert Pollard is good don't get me wrong, it's just Malkmus can run circles around him songwritting wise
>Pefect From Now on
it's okay, tbf i was never into BTS
>Smashing Pumkins
Okay pal, I can't say this strong enough. Billy Corgan is the ultimate hack. Mellon Collie might be an incredibly ambitous attempt but you can't tell me that shit isn't mostly filler.
Now If you had said some of Modest Mouse early stuff you might have had a case, (probably not lol)
pavement are literally the ultimate hacks in that they brandished this contrived hipster persona and denied commercial success to maintain some false sense of "credibility," while billy flat out admitted "we want to become popular and make money."
those are all nonfactors and i don't give a shit about any of it. you either like the music or you don't. when you get older you will realize that.
sometimes i have trouble deciding which pavement record is my favorite.
i like pumpkins music, i do not like pavement music. beyond that, however, we can discuss their personas and pavement's is contrived nonsense while billy was at least honest about who he was and what he wanted.
i get it now
It sucks
