Because they are doing world building right. The Avengers only took place after the build up to it (phase one) was completed. On the other hand, the build up for the DCEU was rushed. We should have had at least a Bataffleck movie tie-in or using Bale and having the Dark Knight saga as the build-up.

too serious

The movie should have been about Batman vs Superman and only that. Instead they crammed all of the other shit in just so they could get away with JUSTice league.

Because it's easier to look at bright colors than to think

The only Marvel films on that list that deserve their scores are Iron Man 1, Winter Soldier, Guardians and Civil War. The rest deserve a 50-60% at best.

The movie was titled Captain America, but instead they inserted avengers plus then some more

great consistency.

...

Wow look at all those paid reviews. So ""based"".

>first captain america

lol

Because Marvel has Kevin Feige

>Actual Marvel comics fan
>Successfully maneuvers around stubborn Marvel execs to let him try MCU
>Idea seemed bananas crazy at a time because Marvel was nearly bankrupt and most popular characters were splitted between other studios
>Takes the risk and produces Iron Man
>Proceeds with creating $10 bln franchise from nothing
>Revolutionized the concept of movie franchise
>Runs things so efficiently that there were little to no scandals or production misfires for the project this large, namely all top stars are willing to continue filming
>No movie or script leaks like retards at Fox or Sony regularly do
>Of 13 movies he oversaw 13 are financially successful with 13 of those having positive critic reception
>Slowly returns Marvel characters to their home from other studios
>Excellent relations with Disney board as well as lots of Hollywood people
>Cucks Paramount
>Cucks Universal
>Picks up the fight with uncooperative CEO when the time comes
>Wins the fight and becomes co-CEO himself
>Cucks Sony into Spider-Man deal
>Humiliates WB/DC at capebowl of 2016
>MCU steamroller is going as strong as ever
>Starts war with co-CEO over Marvel TV
>Starts it just at the moment when Civil War is breaking its billion while TV ratings are declining - a move that will undoubtedly make him look good and co-CEO bad
>Looks like he is going to win this too
>This is the man who made Iron Man and Captain America larger cultural icons than Batman and Superman
>This is the man who produced a comic book movie about Rocket Racoon, a movie that was more profitable and critically successful than a movie featuring Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman

This

CANT SAGE THE FEIGE

But literally there was more of Captain America than Superman in a film where they only take in 7 minutes of the actual Batman vs. Superman battle.

Is Feige trying to make Agents Of Shield better?

>based
Feige is a whore

Your shitposting is of very low quality, lad. Please improve yourself and return to Sup Forums.

As for now:

Yes we should all admire his ability to make the same movie 13 times and get people to buy it. I say this without irony, not even Bay knows how to milk the masses this well

There is a war between Feige and Perlmutter over Marvel. Feige wanted to give Civil War additional funding while Perlmutter objected. This resulted in Feige going directly to Disney and telling them that MCU steamroller deserves more money and Disney agreed: they gave Feige all the money he needed and separated MCU movies from Marvel and Perlmutter.

Perlmutter still controls TV and comics and now they are feuding over TV. Feige wants tv shows to be more connected to MCU: cameos, references etc. but also to give them larger budget. Perlmutter is content with cheap and campy AoS and Agent Carter and is objecting to any increase in budget.

Then all of a sudden ABC drops both AoS and Agent Carter. Then Feige cancelled Inhumans - a passion project of Perlmutter. Then there were talks about AoS and Agent Carter not being canon at all. Marvel comics under Perlmutter's watch released a comic book 2 days ago where Cap America is a HYDRA agent.

I am pretty sure that this feud will be over very soon with Disney retiring Perlmutter. Feige gave them $10 billion and can give more while Perlmutter who is 73 years old is becoming a problem.

Yes. Because you are Patrick.

Now bite it. Bite it hard, bitch

Go go Feige!!!!!!

Dont you ever stop!

It's fucking Batman he doesn't bloody need a whole new re Introduction.
It would be like giving James fucking bond a origin every new actor.

>Because it's easier to look at bright colors than to think
>Getting pounded in the face by Snyder's Superman-is-Jesus boner for 5 or 6 hours is thinking

Please have sex.

With a dictionary.

Then look up "think".

Batman has been rebooted 4 times in 20 years, most of his appeal as a character is lost. Superman has been rebooted two times in 5 years and it has never had the same appeal. Given the shit it got, it's fucking amazing BvS was so succesful tbqh

Except the Jesus imagery/parallels was for all of like 3 scenes in both films.
>Church scene
>Cross pose in space
>Clark's body being carried after death
>He is 33 in MOS.
Lie harder assfuck.

>Iron Man 3
>79%

Mass audiences love continuity and serialization. That's one of the MCU's largest advantages: everything is consistent and neat with RDJ starring in 8 movies as the same, familiar character.

Audiences really hate actor replacements, reboots and disconnection between properties, like what is going at WB/DC where CW series, Nolan movies and Snyder movies have nothing in common.

>Being this mad because your SuperJesus movie and it's sequel were objectively shit

Kek.

>there's no bias in RT

look at all these paid critics guys

Iron man could be considered a 7/10 at best
The rest of all those are mediocre or trash that don't even deserve a 6

Hot opinions

Now its clear why they refused to add good CGI in Daredevil and JJ

>I might actually see Spider-Man and Daredevil partner up in the movies before I die

The budget bump is already showing with Thor 3.
They are hiring a fuckload of actually good actors for it.
Shame Civil War and Dr. Strange began production while Perlmutter was in charge.

No, we are just poking fun at BvS.
It's going to be a long time until Justice League comes out, let us have our fun with BvS for a few months more.

Posted 3 times in 5 hours.
The damage control is real.

Damage control over what?

>DC struggling with fucking Batman and Superman
>the next movies are a B-lister origin story and a sequel to the most irrelevant Z-listers Marvel has ever had in comics

Why is DC so incompetent.

Suicide Squad is coming out soon though.
But i'd just feel bad for DC and the actors if Suicide Squad is a failure as well desu.

Official MCU rankings:

1. Winter Soldier
2. Daredevil
3. Iron Man
4. Guardians of the Galaxy
5. Civil War
6. Avengers
7. Ant Man
8. Captain America: The First Avenger
*Power gap*
9. Avengers: Age of Ultron
10. The Incredible Hulk
11. Iron Man 3
12. Iron Man 2
13. Thor
14. Thor 2
15. Jessica Jones
*Not even canon*
16. Agents of Shield
17. Agent Carter

I seriously wonder what would happen if Suicide Squad flopped.
I mean, they are already making an entire restructure of WB.
What could happen if both Suicide Squad and Justice League failed?
Wonder Woman is a given failure because absolutely no one cares about her and it's facing up both Transformers 5 and Pirates of the Caribbean 5.

Suicide Squad is going to be either a Deadpool-like success or massive flop. Likely the latter, reshoots are always dangerous.

WW is a guaranteed flop.

JL is pretty much guaranteed to flop under the weight of negative repsonse to DCEU. Its only hope is to be an actually good movie. It's all or nothing situation for WB/DC

Reminder

Civil War should be #1 imo.

Simply put, you have a low cinematic IQ, or some sort of Stockholm syndrome, from overexposure to bland, safe, PC and souless mass-produced blockbusters, which has conditioned you into accepting the absolute lowest-common denominator standards in filmmaking, writing and cinematography as somehow acceptable, when you should in fact feel nothing but contempt or disgust for any Kevin Feige-conveiced product.

Even strictly in the field of capeshit entertainment, where the bar has always been pretty low, since they're primarly a children media, the level of genuine quality and creative abilities (which comes from studios giving freedom to an auteur with a strong personality and vision towards the material) has kept dropping since the 90's.

When Raimi's Darkman/Spider-Man, Del Toro's Blade 2/Hellboy, Burton's Batman 2 or Bird's The Incredibles offered innovative and playful set pieces, meaningful and relevant themes, each with a very distinct, appropriate tone and truly cinematic aesthetics (simply compare the lighting or editing to today's equivalents), none of these qualities are to be found in Civil War or any of the previous MCU entries. This is why Edgar Wright got fired from Ant-Man. This is why Feige keeps hiring visionless point-and-shoot directors who come from TV or comedy, colorblind cinematographers and art/set design teams who seem to be in love with grey, sterile hangers for some unexplainable reason. Action scenes are now being conceived by CGI teams months before the movie begins shooting and all follow the exact same formula.

Even as a child, I couldn't imagine being dazzled or amused by those turds, as they're utterly devoid of any charm, colors, magic or imagination.

Civil War actually had a dark filter on it

most of these wouldn't have been "fresh" if rottentomatoes counted international reviews.
Patriotism is a helluva drug

>DC pasta
>bunch of pretentious nonsense and objectively false statements

>Marvel pasta
>Lists facts and objective accomplishments

DC BTFO AGAIN

>Judging a 140 minute movie on 1 minor scene and a 4-6 second shot later in the film...
>Objectivity

Bale is usually pretty busy and I think Ledger is still unavailable

>Clark whatever you do, don't save people. Let them die!

DEEP

>Peter, with great power comes great responsibility...

Shallow

Any questions, film noobs?

Stop trying to force this shit memes DCuck

>world building right

Which is strange since I still find it utterly bland and boring.

...

>Not even canon
No matter how hard you shill this, it will always stay canon.

> like what is going at WB/DC where CW series, Nolan movies and Snyder movies have nothing in common.
Don't forget keeping Gotham away from the CW series continuity.

I guess if you dont pay attention and shitpost on /teevee/ while watching its easy to see where people like you are coming from.

You see kiddo there are these things called infinity stones and they are really powerful, the bad guys want them and the good guys have to stop them. DC could beat that so easily but they have literally no "world building" at all just "LOL ALIENS *SNAPS NECK*(farts)"

>powerful stones
>baddies want them
>good guys want them too

Wow, what powerful, complex world building.
Fuck people like Tolkien! Who needs him when you have Marvel?

Thats what I said faggot, that its not that special and DC could beat it easily. DC has fucking 2 mediocre movies and a depressed isis supporting Ben Affleck going against Marvel and all their stars and success over the past decade.

DC is a joke.

Because they did their homework. They know what people want from Superhero movies (good guys beating up bad guys, action and some fun). They are also aware that they adapt material mainly marketed at kids that has been around forever. So instead of focusing on deep storylines and symbolism, they more or less retell the stories of the comics with some minor changes. They also had a clear concept where they wanted to go and took their time. Before they form the Avengers, they introduced the most important heros and made sure people had enough time to take a liking in the characters so you would care about what happened to them.
DC did none of that. In fact, you don't even care about what happens to Superman because he is just boring.

man, I love me these plebthreads. manchildren fighting manchildren. the essence of 4chin.

Fair enough, but then we can't say that they're good movies or art -- they are a bland product that the public loves to shovel into their mouth due to their low expectations from the genre (and hell the medium of film, how else could Minions do so well) not much different from McDonalds except if you dare say something negative about it you're stuck-up and hate fun.

yeah dc was too poor to pay for reviews :(

sure sure theyre not kino you can fuck off now kiddo.

>defending Marvel
>calling me "kiddo"

Kek'd heartedly there.

>Lmao
>DCucks
You're pathetic. Kill yourself.

>its an autistic dc manchildren sperg out over Marvels success episode.

>implying I'm a DC fan

Superhero movies can all burn in a fire for all I care.

All they're doing is suffocating the market and making it increasingly impossible for original mid-budget films to get made.

It doesn't help that the majority of capeshit fans have literally the worst taste in film on the planet.

>implying im a Marvel fan

Im just a normie enjoying blockbusters and watching autists like you sperg out
