I've had it for about a year and I have no clue what it is.
Hey Sup Forums, what's this dot on my finger?

It's not herpes, I know for a fact.
It's not herpes, I know for a fact
I'm a doctor. It's def aids.
the fuck is wrong with the shape of your finger
And I'm telling you it's Herpetic whitlow a form of herpes.
Its the mark of the vignity protector
It's a dot on your finger
Put a TINY drop of superglue on it and allow it to dry before moving the finger, don't wash the finger to thoroughly for a few days, if the dry glue comes off within a week then reapply, after it has been on a week then if it is a wart it will disappear and flake off with the superglue, if it is herpes then it wont make any difference.
If it's Herpes then it will nearly disappear then reappear and gets more itchy till it forms a small red dot blister, if you touch anywhere else on your body while it is in the blister stage it will infect that part of your body......if it cycles between itchy and blistery and almost disappears then it IS HERPES
I have exactly this, give me a second and ill post a picture. Iv'e had mine for like as long as i can remember its nothing serious.
Globally, an estimated two-thirds of the population under 50 are infected with herpes simplex virus type 1.
90% of people with the most common form have no idea they have it.
If it's always in the same place, then disappears and reappears, gets itchy, forms a red blistery dot, then it's herpes.
...
I took those pictures like 10 minutes apart from eachother
I've never had sex though
ha
You get it from wet towels and gym equipment and floors, the worse place is swimming pools and gyms. When it is itchy do not use the same towel that you use for hands to dry your body and don't share towels. Wear flip flops in the changing rooms and wipe gym equipment with sanitary wipes.
Does it cycle ? from itchy and red and then almost disappears?
Most people don't know they have it because if your immune system is good then you hardly notice, it cycles according to how stressed you are because most of the time your immune system can suppress it.
just a scar
It's never been itchy or painful
Looks like papilloma. When I had such a things I cut them off with manicure scissors and then burned them with sodium hydroxide. But I recommend you to visit your doctor instead. Sry for my bad english but I hope you understood
"HSV-1 is so widespread that pretty much everyone gets it by the time they’re elderly"
no need, just apply supperglue if it's a wart, it penetrates the outer layer then suffocates them, they just flake off after a week or two with the glue.
I believe thats what we call a finger, you can touch stuff with it and use it on women
does it cycle ? always in the same spot.
I have them from swimming and sports on my hands and feet, sometimes they disappear, sometimes I have gone 3 years without seeing them. Then when you get ill or stressed or sometimes out of the blue they appear again in the exact same spot.
If you are not careful with towels you will spread them to other areas of your body......they don't survive in dry cold places, like toilet seats, but damp and sweaty shit they love.
Don't worry about it, you would have to be totally beta or a psycho hygiene freak not to get Herpes by the time you 50 like the research shows.
It's a wart, I have the same shit on the same spot.
"Worldwide, the rate of HSV infection – counting both (HSV-1) and (HSV-2) – is around 90%"
Ninety fucking percent! you can either live in an oxygen tent for the rest of your life or accept that you are going to get Herpes.
warts don't have a red spot in the middle.
90% of people with the most common form have no idea they have it. They just think it's warts or an allergy etc.
