CHECKED

You can certainly get some nice bass thump out of it. It's got a lovely almost vintage sound to it, like a Roland SH series with a creamy Moog-like filter.

Here's my harsh noise setup, but I am going to modify this when I get back home in a couple weeks since I have a new earthquaker interstellar orbiter I want to incorporate

not sure if i need s a sub. i mostly do indie and punk stuff that doesn't require that much sub bass

from my understanding, subs are just for ensuring a good mix of your low end.

but in most genres, people cut a lot of those frequencies out of most tracks anyway. So the only low end issues you will face are Bass Line and Kick drum interplay, but that can be fixed/improved with some simple processing techniques you don't really need to hear. I'd say pass on the sub unless you specially make bass focused music.

This stuff plus some guitar stuff.

Trio Belt Drive turntable with Shure M97xE cartridge
Fisher 400 Valve Receiver
Tannoy Monitor HPD 295

lol thats not a setup thats a table with a bunch of random bullshit on it

an old pair of Sony headphones

what's up with those korg MS-20 synths y'all have

Classic sound, versatile and the reissue is reasonably affordable
