I've met 3 Croatians here and all of them treated me very well, they were really pleasant guys. Even before meeting Croatians irl I had a good thoughts about them. But now after I met so many other balkanians I can compare and say Croatians are the most white looking and the most westernized among all of them. Don't know much about Slovenes, never met one.
I think the key to it is that Croatians are Catholics, not orthodogs scum.
