Here's a question for everyone in the thread: what are you currently working on?
I'm trying to achieve a consistent, authentic sound that I'm happy with. Being a one man band (for the most part) makes it tough to always find motivation, and I'm struggling to avoid making really similar songs that don't quite have the production and structure that I want. I want to make an ep by the end of the year. I'm also trying to get my girlfriend to do vocals on some tunes. I'm the first poster btw. What are your goals?
gonna be starting work on a full LP soon once I'm back at school, not really sure what its gonna be yet but I'm hyped for it :D. I might aim for some sweet trip vibes tho, probably more along the lines of you will never know why.
a rap ep and some more ambient (but happy this time)

Basically some sampling I was messing around with between April and May of 2016. Never got around to ironing out some creases here, but I was too tired of Reaper's UI/UX to keep going.

HELP!
I'm looking for some people who could, potentially, do some spoken-word (pseudo)poetry over improvised piano garbage!
I can provide some of more spoken-word shit but if anybody has some cool poetry or rants - I would be glad to use these instead! Help me out Sup Forumstants!
Recommendations of love:
Have low expectations for anything tagged with IDM, but you cleared that bar and then some. Beautiful harmonies, and the breaks have a unique dull sound to them that I really like. The synths are great, I'd just like to say that sometimes the difference between a cheap fake midi lead and a bouncy analogue synth is velocity sensitive cutoff.
we just finished recording our new album in the studio for the first time, we are pretty stoked. this is a song off of it, it comes out jan 20th

>generic ambient and noise
Technically ok but nothing special. I wouldn't say that anything stands out.
Generally gives of an ยต-ziq vibe. As Eric pointed out, the drums sound dull, but I don't see this in a positive light. They are cut up in a very nice way so I'd like them to stand out more. Not at all times but certain moments could need some drums that stand out more. Extra points for the creative effects on "Ice tea".
Has a very nice ambient feel to it. Dare I call it "ambient folk"? I like it really much and I think the lofi asthetic fits in well with the field recordings even though I also feel like it is a cheap gimmick.

Hi guys!
Something new. Epiglottis is going to play pianos on one of the calmer songs, there will be drone metal, harsh noise, stoner rock, breakcore

It's comfy and all, but I don't find anything unique or memorable in this. Sorry, try experimenting a little, find your own sound. The vocals are too quiet and obscured. I can only assume you just began making your own songs and weren't comfortable with your own voice.
I see it was recorded in 2014. Have you made anything new since?
