What's the least worst big city in Brazil?

Florianopolis

Come to Rio.

Rio, if you're not a pussy.

my friend got robbed at knife point in rio

Stay away from the green area

first post /thread post
every other answer is wrong

I got drugged and shot in Rio

Depends on what you are looking for.
>money
Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo
>safety
Florianópolis (Rio and São Paulo are not far behind tho)

You are however, better off in middle-sized cities.

I died in Rio twice too.

Why would you even consider coming here are you retarded

big cities here, despite the any claiming, have their usual problems.
i'd rather, if i had the conditions, to live in a small town; far away form our problems.
like Capitólio for instance.

Why not? Carnivals and shit, plus girls are hot.

You could hook me up with an Azn qt, I will hook you up with a Brazilian qt. Sounds like a plan friend, huh?

forgot the pic

The one who let you drop your used toilet paper in the fucking toilet.

>Carnivals and shit
its horrible not even a joke
>plus girls are hot.
most of them really arent

Just come here and visit any nightclub, lmao. Tons of adventure seekers there.

Problem is:
>no jobs
I work as a programmer, so i can work from home, however most cannot do the same, so small towns are a no-no for the majority.

You should stop being an autist, m8.

/thread

hello americat, i see you enjoy tourism in Argentina. good

i go to the streets on carnival every year, and i can assure you its garbage

Kek, you entice me very much friend :D
Only non-autists in Brazil are from Rio m8, don't even try to argue;

i AM from Rio you nerd

agreed.
when i said
>had the conditions
i meant if i got the money to do so.

i'm an accountant, and i understand it pretty well.

I've been once, it's lots of fun.
Even considering someone picked my wallet and knife from my pocket, lol.
I'm serious m8.
Upper class city girls here like exotic stuff. I had a mexican friend coming here a few years ago and he got lots of. Tho he got beaten once too, lmao.

If your idea of fun is staying in a street completely filled with drunks and getting robbed sure its fun
But it gets tiring after the 5th year

...

Top kek, I didn't have read when I wrote.
I'm from Rio too, what a coincidence :^)
Indeed, I spend most of my weekends in a nearby small city called Búzios here in Rio, it's good to you know...slow down a little, but I'm a big city man myself. Probably couldn't live all my life in such places.
>Tho he got beaten once too, lmao.
Top kek. I'm a savvy tho. i know how to avoid trouble. Living in Rio gave me a 6th sense. You know that you would probably have a lot of success with the ladies here too.

i told you i participate in it every year, i can only do it because i get completely wasted, doesnt make it good tho

Você é a judia de Laranjeiras?

>i know how to avoid trouble
Well, he got beaten because he refused to leave the nightclub after getting drunk as shit and trying to hug the bouncer.
Some people just can't drink, lol.
>you would probably have a lot of success with the ladies here too.
Tbh, from what I've seen, there sex is seen as something casual desu. Girls are really open there.

nao

My mom lived in Rio when she was kid (around 1970)
She lived two street from Copacabana, it was pretty safe at this time, she used to take the bus to go to school alone.
Now she don't want to visit because she's afraid to be disappointed

>sex is seen as something casual
I think most people get this wrong from Brazilians. Most people here want boyfriends/girlfriends very very bad, So they might have sex, but thinking about long relationships
Ok

Yeah, that's bound to happen. It's like that in russia and some other ex-ussr places too.

Rio is still nice, but that flair from prior 80's is probably gone unfortunately. The city is too massive now.

Copacabana is a piece of shit overrun by poor people now

Unrelated, but my gran-granma's family lived in Paris, since they runned from here after soviet invasion. She even was in resistance.
I remember her talking about elysian fields at summer all the time.

She have very good memories from brazil and still speak perfect portuguese with brazilian accent (useful because she's a tourist guide).

Wat. Copacabana is just an old people neighborhood now.

Not when when the 474 brings the whole favela down

Curitiba for standard of living
São Paulo for work

Did she still speak french ?

I know that because I fell for Brazilian women traps many times.
Damn, that's quite a history lad. Such incredible thing isn't? Me, thousands of kilometers away am talking real-time to an azerbaijani who's mother not only had to flee to Paris, but also was part of the resistance against the URSS. Such a wonderful world we live in now, 200 years agon this wouldn't be possible. Praise tech.
That's very very nice mate. You know that cariocas are big frenchboos don't you? Even public schools here teach french. And btw, are you by any means the french guy who listened to me singing children songs in a vocaroo thread? I had a feeling that you might be him.
Top kek, 47morte is indeed hell on earth.

Also she still have an old banknote but I don't think it's worth anything today

All of father's side spoke french, it's a thing with old families here.
She spoke without an accent tho, also singed in french while cooking sometimes.

>Brazilian women traps many times.
Inb4 someone jokes about transsexuals, that's not what I meant.

>You know that cariocas are big frenchboos don't you?
I didn't know that but french people are usually big brazilboos
>d btw, are you by any means the french guy who listened to me singing children songs in a vocaroo thread?
It's not me, sorry m8

>but also was part of the resistance against the URSS
Aginst the nazis actually. Which is double funny since her husbands family flied to Germany before the war and he was in wermacht, tho didn't fight, was mostly on paper duty.
>Praise tech.
Indeed my friend.

Ah, okay. It's because we had a vocaroo thread a couple weeks(months?) ago in which I recorded a few french songs from my childhood and one french guys said he was crying. I thought it might have been you.
>I didn't know that but french people are usually big brazilboos
This I know, I've been to France already and I would usually be pampered once I told people that I'm Brazilian :D
This is really really nice m8.
>Which is double funny since her husbands family flied to Germany before the war and he was in wermacht
Wait, are you full azerbaijani?

Yeah, I am.
After soviet came, there were tons of azerbaijanis who fled the country. Most of them returned after soviet was over.

Nice.
My grandfather (mother side) family also took refuge in France but it was to flee Ottoman Empire.

Ay lmao.
Seems like we're all refuge-born here.

Maceió

Joinville of course, Florianópolis is the capital, but the biggest and most awesome city is Joinville - this in Santa Catarina. You might like Florianópolis because it have beaches and is that linda of stuff

Hi, i have sperg and am from rio

Botafogo >>>>> Copacabana > resto da zona sul

>knife
who uses knives in brazil? 5yo robbers?

Does islam permit adventure?

apparently some random niggers on the beach

>Joinville
Hot, rainy and people there say 'choinville'. Pass.

AYYY
I know off a guy that was stabbed in the back with a coat hanger
also know a guy that's there rn as an exchanges student

Curitiba for living, meme places like Rio for touristing.

>'choinville'
Top kek, this can't be true.

Hey guys I'm moving to Sao Paulo soon. Anybody from there? How good/bad is it?

Also girls, do they like foreigners? I'm a german descendant. Tall. light brown hair, green eyes, pretty face. Do you think I have a chance?

The entire country is a shithole
