Hello Sup Forumsros, I have a quick question.
What is the best programming software for coding in Java on a Mac? I am beginning college on Monday and I would like to hear your recommendations.

Probably Zink.

Zink or EZScript

Zink

Gonna check it out, thanks :)

Eclipse using the Moonrise UI is what you're looking at in the image, and it's also what I recommend.

intellij

Second

intellij, eclipse, or netbeans are the big 3 java ides
idk what these other guys are talking about

use eclipse, it's very user friendly

>mac
>java
>college
You have no honor, you are a disappointment for every code monkey.

Eclipse is probably what they'll recommend you use. IntelliJ is slightly more popular in industry.

iTerm2 is a must.

And drop the fucking Mac. Overpriced bulllshit.

OP here, is there a way where I can get a terminal window instead of that debug window on the bottom of Eclipse?

You're best off using Spacemacs. Stay clear of anyone suggesting Eclipse or Intellij IDEA.

I can answer all of those points
Mac: I like the quality of the computer
Java: school's choice, not mine
College: sorry I guess?

>Mac

Stop whining about mac for fuck sake, I have a fucking battle station pc for gaming of course.
I happen to prefer Os X for school.

pls die

IntellIj is probably the heaviest and has most features within the range of java ides

Does class start on Monday at 930 op? Maybe we go to school together

Anything by JetBrains is fucking amazing.
