> glam djent black niggers

Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana

Good album

>tech thrash
im ok w/dis

Vektor - Terminal Redux

>tfw listened to so much tech thrash that I can't find anything new that's interesting

Which one is worse?

Remember when Meshuggah was just tech-thrash?

mine negger
Terminal Redux < From This Day Forward

post cutey grills in metal

destroy erase improve is better

Why would you need anything new?
Extravasation > From This Day Forward

This is Devy, say something nice about him.

Of course it is, but that's not simply regular ol'
technical thrash, it's well within post-thrash territory.

One day he will die

great vocalist

He's Canadian

has this dwarf got cancer?

youtube.com/watch?v=-PjtIiZYEzc

This is Varg, say something nice about him.

Congratulations on killing Euronymous.

Wrote two of the best black metal albums ever; killed the manlet who almost singlehandedly destroyed black metal; has a shitload of manual skills (lowkey seems to be a very decent father)

if varg was an anime girl i'd protect his smile

you totally nailed that hobo costume

>tfw you will never wake in bed next to varg as he giggles at you and shows you his pregnant tummy and says "it's kicking"

stop telling me to stop doing things

At The Gates (First 2 albums)
In Flames (First 2 albums)
Dark Tranqulity (First 4 albums)
Am I right?

Who is the Bernie Sanders of metal ?

fuck off degenerate

title track is the best song they ever made

Dark Tranquillity never made a bad album

First four, first three and first three respectively

the dude from napalm death

>wanting to start a family and have children and a beautiful wife is degenerate

dmshareguy

varg or rage against the machine

GOT TO HAVE A HEART OF STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL

This is Djohn Browne, say something nice about him.

Bad? No. But everything after The Mind's I is pretty forgettable and far from essential.
Barney "lol veganiarismsm xD" Greenway or Shane "King Buzzo Stole My Hair" Embury?

>not Ordinary Story

i was thinking barney, i don't know shit about the rest of the band

One day he shall be no more

who?

>he only knows about the least interesting member of the band
If you don't know who Shane Embury is then you don't know shit about the band, period.

TEH YNGWIE MALSMTEEN OF PROG METAL

>everything after The Mind's I is pretty forgettable
Damage Done and Character are really good
I noticed that they really made a lyrical shift with projector, before they made more mystical and fantasy themed music and lyrics and then they started soounding more personal like Paradise Lost
Luckily they didn't get too angsty like In Flames

i don't listen to them, i don't like grind

mr.downpick

This is the first album I ever liked with harsh vocals, will always be one of my favourites for that

I'll grant that the lyrics from their last album are very interesting, but maybe I'm biased since they're inspired by some writes I already enjoyed quite a bit.
Their grind era ended in 1989 though

i bet he plays djent

what's the best album to start with to introduce myself to Vader?

for your efforts:
youtube.com/watch?v=XacdnLE4Ul4

Their debut, you feeble-minded housecat

Reborn in Chaos (demo collection) then debut

looking for some metal where it doesn't have stupid edgy vocals in it

this one

Are Septicflesh the only good symphodeath bands?

machinehead - is there anybody out there?

Define stupid edgy vocals

...

Any bands like early fates warning and crimson glory? thanks

>falling for the "new is bayd" meme

wew lad

youtube.com/watch?v=xD5No_JRrZw

Linkin Park and System of a Down

dream theater

Idk, guttural i guess. Also autistic power melodic metal vocals

...

Acting like a maniac
youtube.com/watch?v=wIIfu5MTebU

youtube.com/watch?v=sZ8m8_vtL-A

There you go.

So you don't like harsh vocals nor operatic singin.

Listen to buttmetal I guess

it literally sounds like shit and there is nothing to redeem it. at least sc had 1 good song.

what about acapella vocals?

M O T O R H E A D

Eyehategod
Nobody knows the lyrics anyway.

I was actually looking for something like this

youtube.com/watch?v=lkvqrCGuS10
youtube.com/watch?v=1D6yvqEDx0c

>Top 40 Pop song (Deathcore remix)

>acapella vocals

Obligatory.

youtube.com/watch?v=IvajtyyAN-s

youtube.com/watch?v=egN_O8Akx0w

youtube.com/watch?v=e9T764qIvho

Iron Maiden
Early Helloween
Threshold
Mercyful Fate

>kate bush cover

I really don't understand how people enjoyed Dystopia unless they really bought into the hype when Mustaine shook up the lineup. For the most part it's another lame AOR-deth album. It doesn't stand up to the mediocre Endgame, and even UA and 13 have more songs I enjoy

Angra did a good job bro

>Pet Shop Boys cover

Is this even considered metal?

youtube.com/watch?v=JeI01RmjGHI

...

>MBV cover

Fun fact There are 13 bands on Metalarchives inclusing Boris, Melvins, Gwar and Buckethead whose genres are listed just as various

Yes

I think you'll like this
youtube.com/watch?v=Y6OeOiYMYeA

>it's an american black metal cover of pon pon pon
youtube.com/watch?v=no9SbEDmvPI

well that's something

>USBM in a nutshell

ponponpon is one of the trippiest things I've ever watched and listened to
youtube.com/watch?v=yzC4hFK5P3g

Why has god abandoned us?

Didn't Nadja do a MBV cover?
That's not really a "fun" fact.

>Asia Cover

Oh yeah, that's exactly what I was looking for

thanks a lot bro

>tfw best track is the bonus track
youtube.com/watch?v=ObTDvMUMgr4

wow nice. they sure pointed out the silliness of extreme metal by contrasting it with pop music, haha

...
