From Justin to Kelly
why do you even know this movie?
the babadook
reroll
The Thing was a horror movie? More like sci-fi thriller if anything. Event Horizon.
Dubs and you watch Things (1989)
salò o le 120 giornate di sodoma
trust me.
it will be the best experience of your life
Whats it about, Sup Forumsro?
Shut up beaner fuck. Go sell your pineapples on the street corner.
saw this movie listed a couple times before. how is it?
not op, but i might watch this one myself.
It was psychological horror I guess. Most people would say its horror though.
>Four fascists kidnap young men and women and subject them to torture and perversion.
wat
>thing - alien parasite in a dog sneaks into the north pole and fucks up some christmas elves.
>event horizon - same thing, but santa migrated to neptune, the the aliens are hellions.
OP here, Babadook was a good movie. Psychologically and visually freeky deeky yo
How are the special effects compared to The Thing?
cool, i'll give it a shot.
as for your original.. what type of horror are you looking for? slasher, zombie/virus, psychological?
carpenter's thing was made in 1980 or so.
event horizon came out in 1997
think original alien in comparison to the matrix (1979 and 1999)
I like many types of horror but right now I'm looking for either a psychological or gore/fucked up
Night of the Creeps (1986)
it has pretty much everything, and you won't be disappointed.
Ah, Morpheus and Jurassic Park Man go in spaceship to help stranded spaceship. Spooky stuff happens and the movie ends.
Yeah I can see the psychological horror part. Also body horror, too.
"While the main plot of the film is related to zombies, the film also mixes in takes on slashers and alien invasion films"
this sounds promising
Event Horizon is always the right choice
Evil Dead remake was pretty hardcore at times
Yay
How old you willing to go? How mainstream/obscure? Subgenre?
It Follows is pretty good
I'm open to any time frame. I just want something thatll keep me interested and maybe even give me the heebie jeebies. Shoot me any suggestions, ive been looking everything up and writing titles down
>horror
>good
actually, they are boys and girls
Ah good. Couple favorites, some better known than others, but all must-watches imo:
Maniac (2012)
The Living and the Dead (2006)
Inside (2007)
The Children (2008)
Sleep Tight (2011)
Angel Heart (1987)
Excision (2012)
Altered States (1980)
this
Thirded
JACOBS LADDER
That movie sucked
Thanks for all the suggestions brotha. All of these will be watched within the next week lol
Hell, here's a bunch I've loved. Commence posting about how much The Exorcist sucks. Still terrifies me and I was not raised religious, and do not believe in demons or the devil today. I choose to suspend disbelief and it works for films I like..
Hope you enjoy as much as I did. Love horror. High chaff/wheat ratio, alas...
Don't be a nigger.
The Exorcist sucked as a movie, it's not scary. Just cause the idea can be spook doesn't mean the movie is.
Holy cocks. Once again, thank you. I'm always lookin for new shit to watch. Also, nice dubs
Yeah, second for Event Horizon.
Return of the Living Dead
Cabin Fever
It's aight. Little different. Enough to stick out an be a bit memorable. Kinda unique feeling of fear, coalesces pretty interestingly.
Also suggesting...ugh idk I haven't seen any in a while. Green Inferno maybs
This a fucking terrible description.
An engineer and a rescue team are sent to the edge of the solar system to recover a space-folding spaceship that disappeared several years before.
It's a huge cult classic for a reason, and it's visually stunning.
Was Green Inferno that movie similar to Cannibal holocaust?
agreed
Ha, that's been on my watchlist for a long time. Worth bumping up?
I didn't want to give too much away. Go into it blind. It'll be better that way.
It has like one really gory scene and then the rest is pretty tame in comparison
Noroi (2005)
found footage/mockumentary-style japanese horror flick.
third magnet link
*first magnet link, sorry
OP here. I've decided to go with Event Horizon tonight since everyone's talking about it
Just watch Cabin Fever if you want a good eli roth movie
Not that user, but yeah it was a cannibal subgenre film. Saw it in theaters. Pretty bad. See The Mountain of the Cannibal God (1978) Massacre in Dinosaur Valley (1985) instead.
The 2002 version. Very important to make that known
very scare 4 the box office
Good choice!
Actually all three of those movies are really good. Noroi is the standout ofc, and actually scared the pants off me.
>Horror movie thread
>No Slither
you mothafuckas disappoint me
Slithers honestly one of my favs, buddy, guy, friend
I thought the same thing, user.
Unfortunately Green Inferno was terrible.
Like hobo-taking-a-watery-shit-on-your-head-while-you-sleep terrible
Look no further good sir, your journey has ended.
Agreed, but still nowhere near as good as ED 2 and Army o' Darkness
Cabin Fever
Slither
Sleepaway Camp 2
The Grifter
From Dusk Til Dawn
House of 1000 Corpses
The Devil's Rejects
Texas Chaisaw Massacre
28 Days Later
Omega Man
I thought The Cabin in the Woods was pretty good.
