buddism itself is not manly

the japanese had to do a lot of logic twists along the way to be able to be exceptionally violent and "buddhists" at the same time

because pagans were useless retards fucking themselves in the ass

Europe=Christianity

Quit asking stupid questions, this thread shall not gain more attention.

Because Plagiarized Judaism is infinitely more profound and worthwhile than dancing naked around trees and bonfires; and even then Abrahamic religions are retarded child's play compared to the religions of "le mystical east'.

Also picking and choosing which gods are real and worthy of worship is a very Abrahamic notion. True Pagans worshiped anything and everything to hedge their bets, since they saw disrespecting any god as essentially shooting oneself in the foot.

Religions based on written documents and scriptures tend to last longer than those handed-down orally, no one knows why though.

>Hitler complaining about Christianity
He's really just complaining about Protestantism. Roman Catholicism has the structure to be whatever is needed. If he wanted a manly religion, all that is needed is for the Pope to call for a Holy War

Stupid fucking kraut

beacause every religion that doesn't incorporate philosophy and social order is shit that leads countries to be India.

Abrahamic religions/Taoism/Cofucianism are master race religions. Budhism is nice once you mastered one of the other two. Paganism is just flavour.

Pagan roots were lost +1000 years ago.
It would be totally artificial and inappropriate.

>no one knows why writting stuff down is important
Silly post.

is that the only ironic thing you saw

man your in some trouble

I think he would've admired Martin Luther, if anything. Hitler was big on a "nationalized" religion, which he would've interpreted Luther of doing. He probably would've seen him as starting a German church, even though Luther saw himself as restoring original Catholicism.

I think the idea of a foreigner in charge of German religion would've been intolerable for him.

Also Luther was an antisemite

>"Since Martin Luther closed his eyes, no such son of our people has appeared again. It has been decided that we shall be the first to witness his reappearance ...

Christianity actually predates Judaism, judaism goes against everything Christians believe in. Only evangelicucks fall for the Jewish meme.

Hijacking this religion

WITH NO SURVIVORS

Why do nationalists obsess over religion? If you truly want to put the nation first, you should just not care about religion at all, because religions offer a set world view, and what is best for a nation changes depending on circumstances, so a set world view doesn't work that well for nationalists. They should just be secular, or if a religion is leading people to hold anti nationalist values, they should embrace atheism instead of trying to revive a dead religion because muh ancestors. Atheism has no ethics or morals inherently attached to it, so atheist nationalists wouldn't be constrained by atheism at all when forming a world view.

Generally secular/atheist societies have low birthrates, which is something nationalists despise. Many nationalists may start off as secular, but eventually embrace the historic religion of the culture, even if for more superficial reasons.

Also the idea of not being bound by a moral code is the very opposite of Machiavellian realism, it's deeply utopian. It stems from a desire for the world to be a place where committing immoral misdeeds will not lead to more serious repercussions in the future. Lying, stealing, and committing acts of terror against other countries may enrich us in the short-term, but it'll end up being self-destructive once we lose all credibility as a reliable nation; we'll find ourselves friendless and unworthy of respect.

One may argue that committing evil during times of crisis may be justified, if the crisis is more grave than the repercussion for committing the evil act will be; but even of that argument I'm deeply skeptical.

Secular countries only have low birthrates because developed countries all become secular, and developed countries also have low birthrates because life isn't a struggle and you don't need to shit out 5 kids to take care of you. Very conservative religious countries like Poland still have low birthrates since life isn't much of a struggle in Poland. And a high birthrate isn't necessary if your population level is stable and you aren't accepting many immigrants. Hell, if immigration wasn't an issue, lower birthrates = more resources for each individual, so nationalists should want to keep the birthrate at 2.1 in that case.

All of that is debatable; although you're probably right that poor people tend to be religious and have many kids, instead of them having many kids because they're religious.

Idk the stats on Poland's birthrates, so I don't feel right to comment on it.

That is a good point though that a true nationalist would want a stable population to improve the quality of his peoples' lives. But I'd argue that a surplus in population could be beneficial during times of warfare, and can be encouraged to emigrate to other countries if needed. That way other nations can be burdened with sustaining them while their own numbers decrease, spreading your people throughout the region at the expense of others.

Hitler was a LARPer. There is nothing wrong with Christianity.

The core belief that you should love your enemies is pathological altruism codified.

>Hitler was big on a "nationalized" religion

Orthodox Christianity is nationalized Catholicism.

Christianity is also LARP, just seen as more respectable because of its longevity and popularity.

However most ideological and nationalistic movements are LARP if you think about it. It's all just spooky fantasy.

nobody believes that

Germany didn't have a long history with Orthodox Christianity

He's not talking about Buddhism.

>be Christian
>believe you're going to spend an eternity in heaven with all the other believers
>the majority of Christians today are African or Latino
If I was a Christian, I'd want to be on good terms with blacks and Latinos since I'm going to spend an eternity with them...

>Christianity is also LARP

You don't understand what LARPing means. Hitler dug out old symbols so his soldiers would look like "Germanic warriors", he even had parades with soldiers dressed as knights with swastikas. That's where his critique comes from - he was angry that he couldn't roleplay as his ancestor. His critique wasn't theological, or practical - couldn't have been, because Christians had conquered huge land masses.

Orthodox Christianity is about values: Family, duty, patriotism, community. It is practical, that is it's greatest asset.

>Germany didn't have a long history with Orthodox Christianity

With Protestantism neither. They missed a great opportunity, now they're a degenerate country.

How does that statement make any sense?

>Religions based on written documents and scriptures tend to last longer than those handed-down orally, no one knows why though.

Depends on the religion.

Hinduism is basically that - no founder, no organization, no one knows when it came about and yet survived multiple christfag and islamican expeditions and still has more than a billion followers after thousands of years

>beacause every religion that doesn't incorporate philosophy and social order is shit that leads countries to be India.

>implying Hinduism doesnt have vast philosophical base and social order in it

>implying it isnt the glue that is holding together a country something no other religion other than Judaism does.

>implying Abrahamic religions (especially xtianity and Islam) are even philosophical and not just socio-political imperialist idealogies
masquerading as faith.

I'd rather have a religion that has all three- philosophy, social order AND flavor, one that doesnt lord over my life in all aspects and tells me what to do

Christianity was used to maintain the Roman Empire and Islam was used to take over the Arabian Penninsula, later all of MENA. You think Mohammad and the Romans didn't know what they were doing? That they were just that devout to their beliefs?

>How does that statement make any sense?

Every Orthodox Church is autonomous (autocephaly), while Catholic Churches answer to the Pope. Theologically there are identical, with exception of the things that the "vicar of Christ" has changed.

But the people of the East are known for having the world's smallest penises.

but he is talking about japan

What is so great about Japan? Historically they're basically an offshoot of China.

Right, but the Catholic Church still Answers to Christ first and if the Pope is not in line with Christ's teaching he shouldn't be treated as a pope. Similar to how an army officer has no authority over his troops if he is not following the top figure in the army.
