JUST

Everything from that reddit leak was authentic.

This movie is going to be such an absolute heap of shit.

Sick of waiting for it to come out so I can relish and savour it's failure.

>Everything from that reddit leak was authentic.
Is it true that Bill Murray plays some skeptic? At least I hope he gets more than 10 minutes of screen time.

Yep. No, he gets less than that. He dies almost instantly it seems.

Why would you want poor bill to endure more than 10 minutes of screen time?

He only agreed to do a cameo on threat of litigation from Sony.

This only enrages the people. Seriously how is Sony going to recover from this mess?

They won't

That's what everyone is hoping for.

The movie division isn't worth saving

It's still going to break even because of retard redditors going to see it because they can't believe how bad it is

>They kill off Bill Murray's cameo
FUCKING JUST

They've got to go under sooner or later. Their film department is a mess.

Look at this release slate. It's comically awful. What movies there are going to be profitable?

>underworld bloodwars
Only thing worth watching desu, and it's only cuz of beckinsale In a catsuit

Imagine if Harrison Ford played the "Tell that to Kanjiklub" guy and Mark Hamill was one of the cantina people.

Actually if you read some of the things from a while back. Bill wanted, if he ever came back to the ghostbusters, to be killed in one take.

>no scott speedman again
>no eve
Dropped so fucking hard

yikes

do they still have Bond?

Nods to the original work can be fun if they're cleverly and respectfully done, but it's beyond cringe when it's so hamfistedly shoehorned like this.

(Pic related)

>implying you need anything more than beckinsale

That's why no one cared about 3

So my girlfriend wants to go see this, and I tell her it looks like shit and I show her the AVGN video and tell her we are not going, and she tells me if I go see it with her she will give me head and swallow and keep sucking after I nut, so that happens and its fucking awesome, but I'm still not going to see it with her, haha.

Men = 1
Woman = 0

nah that sounds like Harrison Ford no doubt

>tfw Disney's Marvel is doing better than Sony
fuck I am so sad. At least Sony's past movies feel so much more better than Marvel such as X Men Apocalypse.

I enjoyed that so much more than Civil War.

Please recover

Nope. Distribution rights expired after Spectre.

And those email leaks revealed a pretty one sided deal with MGM. Sony apparently made just $57 million from Skyfall.

make her pay for the ticket and then come back and tell us how bad it is.

THANK FUCK

I bet sony is the reason that movie ballooned to such a high budget

I bet The Shallows will be, and honestly Ghostbusters probably will be too even though it'll get panned.

X-Men is Fox.

Only superhero Sony has is Spiderman and after bungling the last two films they're sharing rights with Disney for some of that Avengers money to keep themselves on life support whilst they try make another successful Spiderman film. They literally have nothing else. Joke studio.

so it's MGM's now?

>implying a film centering around Lucian and Viktor wasn't absolutely based

>(Pic related)
kek, that scene was so pathetic

youtube.com/watch?v=A4Wdpwi5wCQ

absolutely disgusting

Shallows probably will be because it cost fuck all to make.

Ghostbusters has a $150 million production budget. Doubt they're spending too much on advertising since it's barely been seen outside a few absolutely loathed trailers but they've got a big uphill battle to make much off it.

What the fuck?

It's been so long since I've seen the original and I don't even remember that thing, but apparently everyone hated it so much they put it in here as a joke

I imagine Sauage Party and the Magnificent Seven will make money, maybe Underworld. Rest might as well be dead movies walking

Yeah, but they'll just auction the rights off to the highest bidder. There's a lot of interested studios apparently.

who'd you like to see it go to?

I really hope Warner Bros doesn't get it.

It was the most ridiculous thing in the original. Meant as comic relief I suppose but it was pretty horrible.

I totally forgot Davos was in that movie

>and I show her the AVGN video

Universal

Fuck Disney and WB, we need James Bond the ride at universal studios

Magnificent is another MGM partnership. Sony probably doesn't stand to get the lion's share of profits so it will have to be a huge hit. Historically westerns don't do well in box office.

Sausage Party is a difficult one to pick. Adult cartoons traditionally aren't big earners and this one looks like shit. Could easily be a surprise hit. but I doubt it.

>for decades Murray refuses to do a sequel
>makes TWO cgi Garfield movies
>cameos in this turd

Yeah, but normies like Seth Rogen movies. And Magnificent has names behind it, so I imagine it'll attract a bigger audience than most westerns

And then they killed Harrison Ford off... oh wait...

True Grit did well, even though Cowboys and Aliens and Lone Ranger bombed. I think it depends, and given Denzel and the Prattatattat Magnificient Seven will do pretty well.

I don't really care desu. Sort of tired of Bond. Whoever plans to make the series feel fresh again. The old films are shit when you remove childhood nostalgia, the Pierce ones were never great: I enjoyed Goldeneye on 64 a lot more than any of the movies. Casino Royale was really entertaining, Skyfall wasn't bad but Spectre was a mess and QoS isn't as bad as I remembered but it's very forgettable. The series just feels really stale for me.

$$$

James Bond did it the best

1:52 is the old Connery shoe and that thing that makes him glide
youtube.com/watch?v=4uZRYO8BcL4

>some of you guys will watch the movies in theatres anyway

Except he played his old character and he was passing down the torch in this movie (which is more than he did in Jedi). I wouldn't care as much if they all played their old characters and passed down the torch to the new Ghosbusters.

youtube.com/watch?v=vU_D96AdK0M

Yeah, True Grit did do well and was awesome. I guess there's a chance it does well. Denzel is as big a name as Damon and Pratt is huge now too. It stands to do well, but I don't know if well enough for Sony to have a profitable year.

>Marvel such as X Men Apocalypse.
KYS

>Sausage Party
The Interview performed incredibly terribly and somehow the last R-rated cartoon comedy (Hell and Back) managed to fail even more spectacularly.

Bill Murray only took the job on Garfield because the script was written by Joel Cohen and he mistook it for Joel Coen of the Coen brothers.

Probably signed a contract that triggered sequel obligations and he sleepwalked through it to avoid a lawsuit.

I'd love more of what Skyfall gave us.

and yes, the older films are very overrated.

Quantum of Solace was a decent action thriller.

>I ain't afraid of no ghosts
>I ain't afraid of no ghosts
>I ain't afraid of no ghosts
JESUS CHRIST

Half of these are indie/foreign distributions that aren't even getting wide releases, some of these have since been cancelled, and both Money Monster and Angry Birds are making a profit.

The only ones that are real risks are Billy Lynn and Passengers (also the most interesting ones), whereas most of the other movies here are so cheaply made (Sausage Party, The Shallows) that they'll probably do fine.

Deakins is a fucking gem. So many gorgeous shots in Skyfall.

>The Interview performed incredibly terribly
No shit, it got a limited release after the Sony hacks

>and both Money Monster and Angry Birds are making a profit.

Money Monster only has $13 million profit on the budget worldwide. Probably hasn't broke even yet when advertising is considered.

Angry Birds is definitely a hit though which is kinda sad.

Sausage Party has a 30 million production budget.
That's 3 times more than The Interview's worldwide box office gross.

There was an article I read the other day about the difference in editing between the US and UK trailers, and how much difference that made. I have to say the jokes did land a bit better in this trailer. The 2 fatties dont look funny at all, but the blond one and the plain one actually seem kind of funny.

The most gorgeous shots in Skyfall were the wide shots of the Scottish hills when Bond arrives at the old homestead. Fucking hell, they were beautiful. Makes me want to go to Scotland

>Selfie joke

Oh for fuck sake. Every fucking time.

Oh I thought that was spectacular.
My mistake.

>Dan the crazy bastard pushed the hardest for years to get GB3 made
>This is the best he can do now

>Kate McKinnon in burlesque clothes

desu I liked both Clash and Wrath of the Titans
probably because there's hardly any greek mythology films out now

Sony made 2 good Spider-Man movies and 3 bad ones. Sure, the two they made are the best superhero movies of all time, but it's not like Sony had anything to do with it. It was all Raimi. Once they got too involved with 3 and the Amazing Spider-Man movies it all turned to shit.

When Casper does a better cameo than you in a "real" Ghostbusters movie, you know you've fucked up.

youtube.com/watch?v=kSpvtwt-4HU

>Maggie's Plan
I wonder what Maggie Gyllenhaal will be doing in that

Looking for her power couplings

is that eric idle??

Oh shit. The leak was true.

>He only agreed to do a cameo on threat of litigation from Sony.
You can't force someone to work.

>Why would you want poor bill to endure more than 10 minutes of screen time?

Because his fucking around, because he hated Harold Ramis, is what caused Ghostbusters 3 to not happen, and is the reason why we're getting this festering pile of Paul Feig shit instead.

Fuck Bill Murray, this is his fucking fault.

That Frank Zappa movie seem very interesting though. The only one of the bunch...

Since when?

angry birds was great. literally anti refugee message.

>Angry Birds was their Magnum Opus.
HA!

>remaking the Magnificent Seven

OH FUCK YOU SONY

>Magnificent Seven remake trailer
>one of the top comments is that they forgot to have one in a wheelchair

it was like that WKYK sketch where Trevor goes to talk to children.

youtube.com/watch?v=m7iwZ4PZAfQ

The joke is that Sup Forums minded fellas were allowed to direct a movie, and that is essentially it.

The movie for its own merits is just meh.

Why did I know he would be a cab driver?

Magnificent Seven and Passengers will do well. They both have le meme man in them. But Passengers is coming out close to Rouge One so it will probably be considered a loss based on its budget.

youtu.be/3aMs9KqCU5g?t=8m30s

If you apply force you can, see Portman in Thor 1 and 2

It was in that leak from a while back

>there's another underworld movie coming out

not a strong year for sony, not as bad as wb 2014-2015 but damn

Yeah Dan is totally just taking a quick phone in paycheque. He looks and sounds so dead inside. Damn you to hell Sony.

if it gets him closer to a crystal skull it was worth it

>Magnificent 7 remake
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Yeah I know, I was merely japing, my friend.

Don't worry. They spent a lot of time assembling a diverse cast!

He was the one pushing the hardest for a new Ghostbusters movie the last couple of decades wasn't he? This isn't exactly what he intended but still, it's a Ghostbusters movie. And I think I remember seeing an interview from a few months ago where he claimed that this movie was "hilarious" or something along those lines.

They can if they signed contracts with sequel clauses.

Damn, they're really desperate if they're showing the cameos on the TV commercials. This will flop hard.

Can't wait to hear how everyone that hates it is a bigot

wow that's fucking sad

>worked all those years for the 3rd and in the end played some literal random who cab driver

>He sounds like hes losing his mind!
>read up on Dan
>oh

>And I think I remember seeing an interview from a few months ago where he claimed that this movie was "hilarious" or something along those lines.
Wasn't that Ernie Hudson?
