Released two albums lately, one just before the new year and one just after. Check 'em both out if you like stuff. Is hard to describe, but it boils down to me composing music, then altering it digitally until it is something else entirely.

stuff I like;
Getting a pretty nice old school new wave/post punk vibe. Gary Numan/Depeche Mode and the like. Cool stuff.
The link you posted is broken. You put "/album/" twice. At any rate, I enjoy your stuff. It is most inspirational.
well seems that its time to move on :(

Some new developer will probably create a fresh platform is Bandcamp does end up going to shit. There would be a period of misery in the meantime, but randos online tend to fill holes when they appear.
Would hate to see BC go to shit though. Is a wonderful service as it stands right now.

I'm looking for some people who could, potentially, do some spoken-word (pseudo)poetry over improvised piano garbage! Help me out Sup Forumstants!
do we need to write the poetry ourselves or will you provide it?
Both. I can provide some of more spoken-word shit but if anybody has some cool poetry or rants - I would be glad to use these instead!

Making a foray into noise music, this is the first track I've worked on, I'm super amateur to this and I'd love any and all feedback on it
The price/desc are jokes, don't buy it unless you're a fucking retard who likes making bad decisions
The guitar wibbling doesn't sound good, neither the sound of the distortion. Keep it up and improve.
>Spacey guitars
>heavy guitars
>Occasional alt-metal feel
>Not sure of exact genres
Guitar work sounds clumsy, for sure, but this is definitely a start. Try to get that guitar sounding more brutal and less like Derek Bailey pretending to be Keiji Haino. Noise is a tough genre to stand out in. Be weary, try to find something mighty and interesting instead of falling into the ocean of everything else.

I already have my music up on soundcloud and virtually every digital music outlet so I think i'd be ready for the death of bandcamp, but where would i shill my music now?
Thanks for the feedback, I definitely see where you're getting at and I'll try to improve on those fronts. I'm considering tuning down from Standard to either D or C# the next time I have a bash at it as well, so I expect that to help on that front. It'll probably still be subpar though, I don't have that good of a guitar yet (Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster, I'm low on money rn), the amp's probably even worse but I don't mind that at least - it gives a semi lo-fi sound off that I like a lot.
Any further feedback still much appreciated!
I'm checking out the Raven now; really digging it! It's got that nice, thick, relaxing atmosphere. I'll have to check out the improvisations sometime too.

this is myself : : : i didn't think i'd like this but i do
cool stuff, especially since it's semi-improvised, and im glad you kept it just instrumental. I suggest making your bandcamp homepage your latest release, since I think the discography view only works when you have so many releases that the sidebar becomes untenable.
there's never enough piano music in these threads, so props, but some tracks are a bit too drenched in reverb.
i like how you incorporate real instruments and samples into your work
shoegaze is an oversaturated genre, but this is really nice. would like to see you incorporate more acoustic songs like Pinkish
i like your album art, not a big surf fan though unfortunately
don't describe your music as pretty bad, it's not attractive, and i think it's quite well done for your first thing. do you listen to robert ashley?

I actually really like adding a visual context to your sounds. The music is really great on its own, transporting you to a place through the imagination. But adding a visual story element is pretty great. If you're also the one making the videos, nice job!
This has such a different feel than Faust, which was one of my favorite industrial albums last year. The featured track MODSB is really great. Love the intermittent piano dissonances. And the final switch was really cool. I'll definitely have to download this.
This seems like it would be really cool to watch live. It has the energy of a live bootleg recording, but it's very well recorded for the genre. The guitars on I Love Jesus are crunchy as hell. Love the dub ending.
I like the choices of sounds, especially in those guitars. But it's a little too chaotic some time, but that might just be the improvisation. i like to see what you do if you alternated the arranged bits with maybe some verses, or a theme throughout. It might just be me, but I got lost along the way a few times.
It feels like if HIM did heavier music. Which is totally a compliment, if that wasn't clear. The piano may be a little too loud for my taste, but I get it that that was the intended lead instrument. I would have preferred something a little more guitar oriented, but that's just me. Love the little ending bits of both tracks, especially the ambient pads on the second track.
hell yeah this is cool. Like if Dan Deacon, Neon Indian and Gary Numan had a baby.
I do make my own videos, so thank you. My first album I just used archival videos, but since then I've been shooting my own footage.

I told you I liked your song the other day, but I'd like to say it again. I like yer new song brother, looking forward to your new album
this is my friends' band that I like to shill from time to time
very cool sound, kinda folk-rocky, kinda psych
vibes, but hard to nail into one category. They
recorded it last summer in Athens, GA with Drew

It was a huge labor of love and these guys really did an awesome job, so I just wanna spread the love

>shoegaze, dream pop, slight emo influence
in the midst of working on a new album, I'd love to get some feedback from anyone here if you ever have the time
heavy animal collective vibes! digging the first track, but it could use some improvement in means of production, including mixing and drum samples. personally i think that 808s are tired, maybe do some burial type stuff and try to record/sample attypical sounds?
are some of these tracks 100 percent samples? you might want to think about trying to actually get some real instruments on here, whether by recording it yourself, finding musicians to do it, or something. not to be harsh but rock sounds very tired when it's programmed, unless you put a good trent reznor spin on it
kind of hip, I like the psychadelic influence, specifically the guitar where you imitate a sitar. bedroom pop is obviously kind of tired, but i genuinely think you have some interesting ideas here, if you refine the production a bit more, expand the instrumentation, you'd have something special on your hands
this is hip
nice guitars, they really fill the mix, reminds me a lot of brian jonestown/galaxy 500, in a good way
hope this thread isn't too irredeemably dead
Psychedelic straight edge hardcore sing-songwriter
I like this.
Mix your music and beats down a bit and bring the vocals forward.
who the fuck cares about pictures holy fuck you idiots suck
here
Some of these songs are all samples, yes. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do to them now, other than ompletely re-record them. The album I posted is just a collection of half decade old songs that I found on a hard drive from way before I properly knew how to record/mix/master stuff and just wanted to write songs, I didn't care about making them sound any better than a step above straight up MIDI. Times have changed. Thanks for listening. :)
You choose how you market yourself. You chose to use that icture. You were hoping to get some kind of reaction with it or you wouldn't have posted it. You're now angry because you didnt get the responce that you had hoped for. You care or else you wouldn't be so mad.
>implying i need to market anything to some 20-30 idiots who are circle jerking into oblivion
Being rude won't help you either brother, first impressions matter. No ones going to click some link with a random picture and the only descriptor being "neat"
Then why did you post here?
Then why are you posting here?
