Please tell me someone else thinks this show is overrated.

Fuck you

no.

Nice try Sony, just for that I won't watch Sausage Party. I was going to with my friends this week but you pull something like this, fuck you!

Depends on if you're the kind of person that, upon recognizing references, you have a positive reaction or negative one. Think Family Guy, but like just when it came out.

Does it make you feel like you're better than everyone else to think shows that everyone thinks are awesome are overrated? Get over yourself, kiddo.

It's not the best show ever, it's just cool, nostalgic and Winona's beaver is in it

op lieks dlan tramp

Sausage Party was overrated, it brought a whole new meaning to food porn.

...

As a Stephen King fan, I can say it's the best free adaptation of Firestarter Meets It.

its mediocre but enjoyable 7.5/10

The mother of that lost child annoyed the fuck out of me, being all hysterical and crazy and shit
but overall 9/10 series

tldr OP likes dicks

Lol, I have a different opinion therefore I am le edgelord? Go fuck yourself you moron.

How about we get a real reason why you think it's overrated.
What's better that was made this year?

how old are you that you dont know winona? Dx

Haven't watched it but "The Night Of" is the only other show that's as highly acclaimed. Anybody watch both?

I'm just bad at remembering names

I watched sausage party with a buddy on Friday because he had 2 movie passes. Literally the worst movie I've ever seen. It's just awful. The animation is good but there is no attempt at humor. It's let's make the oldest and laziest racial stereotype jokes but because food says it its original and funny kekekek. I can't believe you MUSTARD the courage to KETCHUP to me kekekek.

I've seen so many terrible movies, this one is seriously a 0/10 unless you are still in middle school

Stranger things is 9/10 imo though, anticipate season 2

Bye OP. Nice almost talking to you.

Every time the boys would run into a problem.
>oh gud thing we've got a psychic telekinetic girl to help us

Plot seemed to be absolutely retarded at times, and the characters all had a bad case of making god awful decisions. (Why would you want to shoot that deer in the woods if you are trying to hunt an alien and need to be quiet?)

That aside, I think the characters were all pretty likable. The show definitely has a charm to it. I hope in season 2 they open up the plot a little more so it's not a just linear line of them running away from the "bad guys."

I don't think it's a bad show, I just think everyone just gives it way too much praise. From my point of view it just contradicts the faults in the show where I cannot confidently say that I think this show is a "perfect 10/10".

Nope, it was fan-fucking-tastic. One of the best shows I've seen for quite awhile.

I'm guessing you're too young to be nostalgic about the 80s which is why you don't like it.

not op

>The Night Of Jews and Sandniggers

Multiculturalism at it's worst

A lot of people are saying they can't wait for Season 2...I can. It was great, entertaining and well done and I really hope they take their time with it. They really closed everything up and everything had an end to what was introduced. There's lots to explore but it's not like someone is still missing or something, I'm happy with how it ended, so I can wait.

I do. It is too similar to SCP-106.
It made me rage.

That's like 10% of people. There will always be them. And another 10% to hate it because haters gonna hate.
But I would not call it overrated. It's rated exactly as it should be, maybe a little more so more people can see it and not see Suicide Squad.

Oh yeah, THAT game!

All the references are simply nods though. And the references are 70s-80s. The references are very unimportant to the enjoyment of the show

It's well made. The moments of cgi are weaksauce but that is such a minor element of the show.

It's a mix of 3 story lines. A childhood adventure movie, teenage horror flick, and adult mystery all with an overreaching sci-fi element.

No individual story line is completely original or without influences. For instance the kid story line is basically like a super 8 meets stand by me.

Not much is completely original these days though and typically original ideas aren't appreciated in their time anyways. The show is good. It mashes up a bunch of ideas and tropes.

The ending sucks and nothing blows your tits off but it's very well made and it'll keep you watching it

I wrote Season 2.

It's like Heathers, with all the teen suicide refs.

>Just Say No!

The boys go looking for 11 after a psy burst emission from the Upside Down world reaches Mike. They spend the first three episodes trying to find a way back into the other dimension, but can't find a door.

A new character "shows" them a door and they all enter it. 11 has been captured and tortured. Her mind being shielded, thus a reduction of her powers. Mike and the gang bring Eggos which helps her regain strength, but not before a boss battle ensues with a new creature.

The boys are slaughtered (gasp!) and 11 just barely escapes. Back in the real world she has a mental break from reliving the recent killing of her friends.

Shall I continue to the end?

>game
>not knowing SCP wiki
Kys faghet

This is fake. But continue.

I agree about the girl. But she was basically only applicable to 1/3 story lines in regard to the deus ex machina quality she provides.

Characters making awful decisions is real. That's just people dude. There's a guy hitting a 50 dollar hooker bareback as I type this post. The show centers around... 3 nerdy children in one story, an outsider weird kid and sheltered naive girl, burn out high school educated single mom and drug addicted functioning alcoholic cop. Every character if in the real world has a huge propensity for retarded decision making.

That's what makes shit fun to watch. Nobody wants to see a bunch of fedora wearing Sup Forums shitposters constantly be one step ahead if everything because they'd react perfectly to every situation.

They never even shot the deer. That moment was about 2 things, Jonathan facing his fears and hesitation in the moment and also accelerating the plot with the alien

You're probably the same guy that looks at artwork and goes 'psh doesn't even look like how real people do 1/10'
