A mount everest tattoo of your musical heroes

Who would you pick? Who has had the biggest impact on you personally? No bands.
1) Michael Jackson
2) Richard D. James
3) Prince
4) havent decided yet, might be David Gilmour. Or Bach.

>mount everest

Jimmy Page
Jerry Cantrell
James Hetfield
Noel Gallagher

>mount everest

The hour is getting late. You know what I mean.

>mount everest

That's a raggedy ass faggot kind of choice user. Are you sure you want these people on your body for the rest of your life? Noel, I can live with.

1) Herbie Hancock

>mount everest
time for bed, op

>Sting
>Mark Knopfler
>Bowie
>David Byrne

insufferable is quite harsh. And you haven't stated your choices.

Zappa
Bowie
Jackson
Bambaataa

probably in that order, glad I thought about this

So David Byrne's the singer of Talking Heads (I had to look it up) Has he made that big of an impact on you?

You have to go back.

that's a retarded idea, but I like it.

GG Allin
Taylor Swift
Michael Jackson (final years)
Varg

He's also the guitarist.

Yes, he has, I admire all four of the artists I listed for their lyrical ability. Sting can come off as arrogant and preachy sometimes, but a lot of his work reads like a book.

to the future?

Ritchie Blackmore
Ian Gillian
Jon Lord
Ian Paice
Roger Glover

I'd list them for their vision and their craftmanship, but the lyrics would've never come to mind. Also, last one should be Freddie Mercury. I can't very well get a tattoo of fucking Sting, now can I? I need some iconic faces.

Sting has a very iconic face

it's too intricate. My tattoo artist is pretty shitty. He can't handle shit like this. Iconic in my mind means not having to draw more than three lines and have an image everyone recognizes.

I know he was, but I'm a big fan of Sting's solo work, too

4 Kanyes

David Bowie
Michael Gira
Bjork
William Bennett

Lemmy
Tony Iommi
Buckethead
I'm not sure about the last one, maybe Peter Steele

juvenile I know

I like it

Sup Forums - sports

its happened

The only right answer. I was thinking about throwing David Guetta in there somewhere.

This is not a thread about taste son, you seriously want Buckethead and Tony Lommi imprinted on your arm as a choice of life?

Marissa Paternoster
David Longstreth
J Dilla
David Bowie

>richard d james
>thom yorke
>kanye west
>j dilla

yo guys we should stop torturing people deadass

>Who has had the biggest impact on you personally?
I woudn't get a tattoo of any artist, but OP asked

Nice first pick. I'll check out J dilla just for that.

His best is Donuts, but don't let that sway you from listening to his other stuff. He has a huge discography (especially post-mortem) and very few of them are misses even if they may not be quite as fantastic as Donuts. One of the best hip hop producers ever, honestly.
