A spare room in the basement water puddle keeps appearing randomly.
No water pipes around the area no drains sinks or showers near. It smells like normal water but it keeps appearing near the guest bed one time under, a couple times towards the corner of it.
Where the fuck is it coming from Sup Forumsros?

Seeping up through cracks in the floor most likely.

lay out some paper towels.. carpet the floor if you have to.

Next time it happens you'll know source. If it's seeping in somewhere or dripping from the ceiling somehow.

What room is above the area?

also could be condensation from something cold, or even the concrete floor.

So just groundwater coming through the same weak spot in the concrete?

ghost piss

The room above is the hallway and next to that is my room. Also there is no indication of water coming from above. It'll never seem to happen when I'm down there but when I'm gone for a period of time and come back a random water puddle appears

Or even a leaky pipe below or encased in the floor.

kill yourself

have fun with your foundation repair op

Okay is there any way to prevent it from happening again?

Sounds like it's a shunned house.

You're going to need some strong acid.

Without inspecting the property...

I'd guess condensation. It's been humid and rainy here (midwest). Could be an explanation for you if you've had similar weather.

Moisture in the basement is an insanely common issue. definitely need more info to diagnose

I live in Ohio and the basement us usually very cold or comfortabllying cold. The problem I have with it us it's near the freaking bed but I cannot find the source for the life of me

Elaborate please ?

fucking cut it out and investigate. the ceiling is ruined already.

Up to you to decide if you want to sleep tonight or not.

u dun got a well in your basement! bottle that water and sell it!

you could look closely for any cracks and fill them in with caulking

The ceiling is fine and dry as can be also I am and I can't find the cause. Which is why I'm asking fellow anons

If you squint it kinda looks like the outline of a sausage dog.

There are some cracks but not that close but I will try that out.

Is it a puddle you could splash in or a damp spot?

That spot on the floor could be a low spot taht collects water, no matter the source.

Lay out paper towels. if the water runs in from another room you'll see it. If it's condensation all paper towels will be damp. If its only one spot it either seeped up from a crack or dripped from above.

anal autism.

your A/C's drainage pipe is leaking.

I don't see that I see a seal or walrus

are you sure you didn't accidentally upload a picture of your elbow?

It's a puddle you could splash. It keeps covering the bottom of this chess set I bought a while ago so it's a decent sized puddle. Also I will try that as well. Might as well try many things and hope one works.

It's a place to start. You'd be surprised how far water travels.

Good luck

I'm pretty sure user

Get a fucking knife.
Cut a big hole.
Call landlord.
Get kicked out for letting the problem go on for this long.

Most likely from the AC condenser bro.
