Is Band of Brothers watched in other countries? What do people think of it?

Is Band of Brothers watched in other countries? What do people think of it?

Please other countries make nice WW2 shows. I've already seen Unsere Mutter Unsere Vater

its more or less the best world war 2 thing put to film or television ever

Recommend nice British shows about war please. I'm downloading Sharpe's Rifles right now.

I've seen it on video back in the day, my sister bought a box set.
Here we're 101staboos and people generally know much more about Market Garden and The Bulge than one might expect from a country that had its own battles.

Your sister sounds based.

>tfw no qtgf that is into (military) history

china produces hundreds a year
pretty based

yeah its pretty cool

Currahee!
Covering fire! bababa! mediiiiiiiic! Doooc!

I love BoB but The Pacific is hard to watch because the jap soldiers are killed like shit.

I only saw a couple of episodes when it first came out but iirc it was pretty gruesome, much more so than Band of Brothers

cannae think of any right now, but sharpe is p good

Which were the best characters?

Yeah its great, seriously. B-but, we are all a litlle bit tired of USA putting soo many eforts through HOLLYWOOD to gain respect for world No1 fighter, angel, freedom fighter, justice and peace saviour.
It has no corelation with that mini series, its seriously outstanding and I think that every Serb watched it.
My point is that that NO one has 1% of USA cinematography compared in quality but it is also used a litlle bit to brainwash people and to spread propaganda they need at the moment.

Like one american guy told in WW2 from space documentary "the true winners that changed history and WON ww2 is Russia, the best outcome and nation that gained most from it is USA", something like that is hard to hear from american!
Ok, i changed a subject, one of the best series ever user, loved it.
Its in the league with Sopranos, Wire, Breaking Bad, The Shield, Rome etc...

Well liked but a very romanticised portrayal of the US role in the war.

It's just shitty Anglo propaganda, I wouldn't recommend.

I watched a lot of this shit, it's hilarious.

the world at war

still judaico propaganda along with band of brothers

Yeah that was one of my favorite show when I was a kid.
I probably still have my old tv-recorded vhs at my dad's.

luz and lewis for me

nixon was the redpilled one

When will Westerners make a WWII series about the good guys?

you aren't japanese
but letters from iwo jima exists

>the world at war
Already seen it, great documentary series.

Bull was goat.

>the good guys
You mean Little Boy and Fat Man?

Does anyone know that one Russian film scene where they mass execute people and throw their bodies in a ditch? I remember it being very brutal and it was accompanied by music, might have been from a music video

this

Sounds like that butthurt Katyn movie.

nip btfo

I liked the Bastogne episode best until everyone started saying it was their favorite. Now Crossroads is my favorite.

Not WW2, but The Lost Battalion is pretty good from what I remember.

Hail to the brave fallen "all sides" May they find peace in the everlast.

F

kek
Hornblower for more frog cucking

Dog Soldiers for just military action

The Wind That Shakes the Barely, it's Irish but the British surprisingly helped make it. About the Irish War of Independence and Irish Civil War.
Kilo Two Bravo takes place inna sandbox and is really tense.

Basically every other British movie or TV show is propaganda.

>I've already seen Unsere Mutter Unsere Vater

Delete this!

The Polish partisans were the best part of that series. The leader was a total bro.

But they were shown as Anti-Semites ;( not true! hypocritical Germans!!

>tfw no qt polish partisan gf

We have Estrada 47.

The only WWII movie we ever made.

BoB and Das Boot are probably the best shows ever.

Yep. It was aired on a tv channel owned by Russian MoD along with Generation Kill and Pacific lol.

Is there a Das Boot show too or did you mean the movie

this surprises and delights me

...

>The Wind That Shakes the Barely
>not propaganda
Fuck off Boston

Miniseries

I thought it was boring, nobody dies and everyone knows they will win easily and kill 100000 Germans with no effort so where's the tension? It's masturbation.

based on a true story
