why did DIndu bring some worthless shit jedi with him to arrest a Sith Lord powerful enough to restrict access to the force?

That's what I had thought as well. What kind of bitch ass Jedi just get toasted that fast. Honestly if he brought Anakin using his own guile to arrest him it would of happened differently

Better question was why didn't he ask Sheev:

Was getting caught part of your plan?

MOST OF THE JEDI WERE OUT ON MISSIONS FIGHTING THE CLONE WARS, MACE HAD TO TAKE THE ONLY JEDI THAT WERE AVAILABLE

HOW DO PEOPLE STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS????????

so they could die quick and we see how powerful sheev is

They overestimated Sheev, all of them. These Jedi weren't half-bad fighters before.

Except squid guy was suppose to be a really good fighter.

What are you talking about? Windu had to act quickly if he were to catch the ONE guy that was tearing the entire Republic. I can't imagine he had time to get Master Yoda or even Kenobi. Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar, and Saesee Tiin were probably the oblydell other jedi of significant skill that he could get a hold of. It's not that they're bad jedi, but Palpatine is a crazy good Sith.

The Jedi weren't weak. Sheev just had the moral high ground which he established with "It's treason, then".
The Jedi knew they were wrong arresting the most powerful politician on the planet based on flimsy evidence. Plus, the Republic doesn't have a law that forbids someone to be a Sith.

edit: underestimated, of course

they could've made this scene so much better if Sheev never used a saber and simply used the force

Those are all jedi masters that sit on the council

It was indeed symbolism, and referenced the rise of Julius dynasty in Ancient Rome.

Likewise, Palpatine's fall in Episode VI represents the decay and end of Roman Empire, which removed the previous barbaric world only to stagnate and be succeeded by something newer.

There's no way they could have known he could spin like he does. It's a good job Windu only took those guys, no matter who he took they would have perished.

MASTUH WINDUUUUUU

why didn't dindu do it in public?

>Anakin is supposed to bring balance to the force
>Balance typically means equal, i.e a 1:1 ratio
>After Revenge of the Sith there are 2 Sith lords and 2 Jedi masters

>anakin is supposed to bring balance to the force.
>kills the last sith lords so only jedi remain in episode 3 or 6
wot

The ones that could fight were all leading armies

why did he have to act quickly? was sheeve going somewhere? they could have played it cool and gathered their full strength without alerting sheeve. but no, he recklessly charged into a situation he did not fully understand based on one heresay accusation

>Anakin supposed to destroy the Sith

There are two fucking more Sith in Episode 7

Why didn't Windu just buy a sniper rifle?

>The Shekels Awakens
>Canon

Episode 7 is fanfiction and does not count

Levels of canon
Original trilogy>eu>prequels>shit>christmas special>the ewok films>star wars fanficiton>episode 7

The sith have never been destroyed. The Emperor lived in the pre-JJ canon, Luke became his apprentice, and other dark force users were scattered throughout the galaxy, and more are always born.

The light side had grown far too powerful and narcissistic. Balance involved the pendulum swinging back.

>le emperor and yoda dont need lightsabers redditors
did you know how fucking stupid a force fight would be?
canon sheev and yoda use lightsabers, deal with it faggot

if a shitty sith lord like gaylo can stop a blaster bullet with the force then sheev can do it with ease.

Why does anyone use lightsabers if you can use the force to stop the lasers?

they are completely different things senpai

>old guy moving faster than everyone
it looks silly, in the original movies Emperor didnt use the lightsaber

He was called Kit Fisto for a reason. Sabers weren't really his strong suit.
