>king geedorah - take me to your leader
Listened to it already, loved it. Have been VERY tempted to swap it out with Madvillainy.
Will give the sparks album a listen though.
Leaning towards becoming a producer but in my state there's jack shit in that industry around here, which is why I'm (thinking about) double majoring in culinary so I can have more job opportunities.
How do you double-major in a certificate program?
i'm majoring in media studies. considering also double majoring in spanish or music performance though i fear i'm not good enough in either of those fields
i don't feel very certain about my future
Check out my new chart plebs
It's my second year in industrial engineering. I don't even like it but it's one of the few jobs that pays well in kebabland

Just stumbled across Contemporary Guitar: Spring 1967 comp, it has Fahey and Basho on it as well as Max Ochs, Harry Taussig and Bukka White- haven't given it a listen as I have a bit of a backlog but might be a good point of reference
>ashtray navigations
any particular release of theirs i should check out first?

Each are 2 year programs. Would take 2 years of Music Production, graduate from that, then come back for the culinary.

Your ambient taste is mmm
Constructus Corporation - The Ziggurat
Donovan - Mellow Yellow
I'm majoring in music though I haven't really decided if I'm going to go for music ed or performance, though I'm leaning towards performance due to sole fact that I have lv. 99 autism and suck at talking to people and I probably wouldn't be able to teach even though I kinda of want to be a teacher. I might just give up on the whole music thing all together since I'm trash at the whole relationships thing and that's literally like 99% of any entertainment based venture. I don't really think I'm that talented at my instrument anyway despite what people say.
Ultimately I might just go to trade school to become a carpenter or plumber since I dropped out of highschool (to any little retarded Sup Forumsboys who are still 14 or 15, please take highschool seriously and don't drop out like a dumbass. I didn't even get to graduate with like the two friends I had!!) and it's a little late for me to go STEM and I'm not real book learned besides music anyway. If my early life had been different and I had gotten the help I desperately needed growing up I probably would've majored in math or something.
I'm lonely and full of regrets. I work at a shitbox for 10 dollars an hour.
Noahbody really plays like Robbie Basho or even sounds like him but in terms of having really expansive, evocative guitar playing James Blackshaw is similiar. If you just want want to hear really sick guitar playing just listen to uh, Max Ochs and Harry Taussig and Leo Kottke and and Sir Richard Bishop and Glenn Jones and Suni McGrath and then that's basically everbody
Also I forgot but Steffen-Basho Junghans is basically Robbie Basho 2.0 (he's even took his name in honor) and is my favorite next to Basho himself. There's also a comp called Wooden Guitar that you might like, and then the Imaginational Anthem series of comps that has a shitload of fingerstyle guitarists throughout the ages that probably influenced a lot of those guys (mostly Fahey)
Not too great but I feel like I have potential, trying to get into more folk and americana.
Currently studying biology in university (focus on ecology)

what are you talking about dude lol
have you heard the microphones...?
If you REALLY want to get into music/performance you can learn to communicate with others. Don't let your autism ruin your dreams, stop being self-conscious and just talk to people. Have to sell your soul in that business and kiss everyone's ass x10.
Ensemble Pittoresque is v nice
Thanks for the rec
WHY NOBODY GIVES ME RECS

Last year of high school. I go to a private school founded by my father so I help him with scheduling and stuff (I feel like I got that down pretty well). I also work in the front office and in the after school care program. Looking into going into arts and entertainment management, and perhaps owning a club someday.

I'm attending a clock-hour based shitty "how to use a windows computer the way your boss wants you to" certificate program but they didn't charge me outside of the pell grant and they give you a job at the end of it but I'm not sure if I want that job if this is the pace I'll be working at.

potential for what? to get better taste? that's not how it works kiddo. Taste is not a game to see who looks the coolest (although here on Sup Forums it is) just shamelessly listen to whatever the hell you want

Matthew Halsall & The Gondwana Orchestra - When the World Was One
talk talk - spirit of eden
