I like dailymotion. It's french I think

its a good website for temporarily posting copyrighted videos (they're really slow on deleting that stuff.) but the only defect is that the maximum quality is 720p

What do you mean? Of course you can't upload porn, but what kind of content are you making that YouTube isn't fine with?

If it gets bad enough, which ever one some of the big youtubers swap too. It doesn't matter which because whatever site will change to suit their new audiences as soon as it happens with their increased revenue.

Recently, YouTube made it so that if you disagree with liberals, they won't let you monetize your content. I was wondering if there is somewhere else you could go that wouldn't do that.

actually i was thinking that until youtube gets a real rival then they'll start fixing their shit. i mean right now since there's no other website that can beat youtube on that they'll just do whatever they want since the users must just get used to it.

what??

can you elaborate?

youtu.be/0uKE5mZhg1I
Here. He explains it rather well.

So, YouTube decided that videos that don't have 'Advertiser Friendly' content are not allowed to receive YT JewGold anymore. Non-Advertiser Friendly content is any video containing the following:

• Vulgarity
• Non-establishment views on 'institutionalized science'
• Any discussion of political topics or viewpoints
• Any commentary/criticism of US laws/policies
• Violence
• Anything that might 'trigger' someone

Literally, any useful debate or commentary on anything. It's a mass censorship blanket that tries to discourage dissenting views from gaining any ground. A lot of people make their living off our presenting these kinds of viewpoints and encouraging discussion of controversial issues, so YouTube is trying to choke them out with it's new policies. Even FilthyFrank is being required to censor his videos.

Yeah but YouTube isn't even good. The only thing it has going for it is the popularity and content, the actual system, eg the way comments and shit work is awful. All it would take is one of the big controversial guys that's losing money to swap anywhere else and begin the change, they don't have a rival until someone influential has had enough and chooses the next platform.

>all these people just NOW shitting on youtube

kek

not much has changed... keep your tags and titles clean and you'll be fine
the worst that could happen is that you can't get money from the video but you can still publish it

yeah you're right on that.but still. its hard to get some influential person to move to another site because they wont get as much money as they did on youtube.

Honestly, this is a pretty big 'fuck you' and censorship blanket that affects a lot of people. I could deal with the other policies because they made... well, they kinda made sense. Copyright policies and all. But this is a step way to far in the direction of censorship disguised as 'advertiser friendly' demands.

Pic unrelated.

that's only a problem if you making videos for profit which is a pretty crappy idea
and also i doubt any other video hosting website is going to offer you some if any ad revenue

just fucking link your channel already
what kind of edgy content do you have that youtube will remove?

>censorship

they aren't preventing people to post these video, just from making money with it.

What about Vimeo, I know vloggers in my country have used it for years as an alternative when worrying about copyrights or something NSFW going as a topic etc.

Which is discouraging people from dedicating channels to discussion of controversial topics. These channels will no longer make money.

I'm just a jew that was hoping to make some clickbux off of YouTube someday, but now all of the content I had planned on making (political criticisms, disproving certain 'scientific' subjects with actual fact) would be completely unmonetizable.

So, the punchline? I was in the planning stages for something I wanted to do and now that YouTube has enforced this policy, I can no longer get giant dollareedoos for being an anti-establishment homo.

In short, I have no content to show. Talk about gay, huh?

Pic unrelated.

It's not direct or outright censorship, granted, but it's a subtle way to make people dependent on YouTube revenue, ones that hold anti-establishment views, simply disappear. Without the ad revenue, they can't afford to continue to produce their content regularly.

I have a problem with that. YouTube is aware of this fact and are leveraging it to silence unpopular opinions. I don't want to help support this form of casual fascism.

>disagree with liberals
No, they won't even let you say "fuck" without demonetizing it

isnt that a good thing actually? YT Videos should be made out of passion, not for money. if you want to swear, you still can. you just dont receive admoney anymore.
the clickbait and clickwhoring went out of hand anyway, time for a change.

if you need to receive money to state your point then your point isn't that important

you mean latin america? i actually know some youtubers from latin america that post their shit there if it has copyrighted material.

seriously what the fuck, you can't even swear on youtube and have it monetized? Who do they think we are, fucking children?

You don't seem to understand the ideological problem here.

This is bad news

all i hear is
mimimimimimimimi

Who cares if some faggot doesn't make a six digit salary doing basically nothing. People will still say what they need to say even if it makes no money.

You can still upload all of that content, you just can't monetize it. From what OP is looking for, he wasn't gonna make a living off of his content anyway.

that's fucking disturbing

you wunt gun mek no muny no way boi

So

A major media outlet has made a decision on what content it will and will not endorse?

WOW THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN THE HISTORY OF PUBLIC MEDIA

Get your head out of your ass. You can still post your shitty content, for free. If you cared at all about what you were talking about, and not about money, it wouldn't make a single shred of difference. You sound like a greedy little bitch straight out of college who thinks he's owed the world on a platter.

I suppose the joke is on YouTube because im not gonna be changing the content that I watch. People swear and have controversial opinions in videos I watch, that means YouTube won't make admoney from me.

Some people actually do some rather in depth research on their content and organize it as a small presentation/documentary. That takes a lot of time, patience, and skill. The ad revenue that's been around for ages helped these people stay motivated and produce content like this; YouTube provided an avenue for their voices to be heard and rewarded them for bringing in viewers.

Now, we've got 'Hillary Clinton's 1984 America' kicking into effect where they very slowly and subtly kill off any dissenters by starving them to death to make it seem like nobody disagrees with establishment sociopolitical bullshit. It helps to give the illusion of consensus where none exists.

This can be leveraged to make it seem like society all agrees on certain things which then, in turn, allow government to leverage ridiculous new laws based on their nonscientific, damaging viewpoints.

Can you imagine? If there appears to be no dissent poised at dumb bullshit like climate change, wouldn't it 'just make sense' to hit the manufacturing industry with a carbon market like they did in Europe? You know, the same one that fucking killed most of their industry and made it emigrate to China? Or how about letting SJW tumblrinas make up our social policy? Gee, these 'safe zones' on college campuses seem to be a good thing. Let's reinstate Jim Crow laws, but demonize whitey this time around instead. It's all about equality!

Social gathering places are starting to become a metric by which laws are made, guys. I'm thinking about the long game here and I don't like where it's headed. YouTube needs a rival, like this guy said :

Vid.me

if you watch youtube and don't have adblock plus you're a stupid twat anyways.

send some more pics of that wet pussies

Yeah, alright, since you asked nicely.

TV and Radio companies have been doing this for a long time. I don't see why this is a surprise to anyone

...

Can't adblock on devices that arent PC/Mac tho so my point still stands

wait isn't today caturday?

If content creators really cared, they would produce it with or without ad revenue. The fact that it is a major platform for pseudo-activists for their voice to be heard (FOR FREE) should be all the encouragement they need.

Plus, if you have that many viewers, and you're not a complete retard, there are other ways of generating money. Why do you think they got ad revenue in the first place?

A lot of people live off youtube and/or end up setting up a patreon because they don't have the time to release videos an a regular basis and hold a full time job at the same time.

it is

You know, I do understand that the ad revenue is like 'icing on the cake', but that extra little bit of cash would be a really nice motivator.

I work a lot of long hours (48+ /week) where I can't do anything very creative but tumble these thoughts around in my mind. When I hit the weekend, I'm so tired I can barely do anything. I'm hard to motivate and it's frustrating. If I had something to give me a boost or a goal to pursue that involved making more money, I think this would help me get over being tired and make some content. Right now, I just always feel so drained. How do I kick that crap and just go for it?

The motivation part is very hard for me personally. I'm a money-oriented person. Money = Freedom, so for me, it's a huge, huge motivator. I just wish it were an option for the content I wanted to make.

Thanks user :)
Now I can fap happily

cute!

oh you're salty over leafys cancer channel being shut down xd

Man I miss having a gf with clear vaginal lube. Creamy is the fucking worst.

alex jones btfo

Who's leafy?

Also, it changes over the course of the month for most women. If it's always creamy, then she needs to drink more water and cut back on the caffeine.

>disagree with liberals
Oh stop, just because SJW complain about everything doesn't mean liberals want to censor everything. Your over exaggerating. That like saying all right wingers are nazis, I could even argue what they want to do is anti-liberal fundamentalist conservative. Emphasises on the could, because am not. Why can't some people look before 2010?

What the want to actually do is to censor all content that isn't "safe" (swearing, controversial subjects (even talking about suicide is banned)), in order to have more people advertise in the website. It's basic cooperate greed. They want YouTube to have a Universal rating, so they can have more money. Simple. It's got absolutely nothing to do with politics.

post to myspace

He means that youtube is full of retards and kids wirh heavy autism so he's looking for another place to post shit

checked

Now, I might agree with this under normal circumstances as it's a rational assessment, but in reality, controversial subjects and content tend to bring in more viewers. More viewers watching more advertisements = more money, which would be what the pursuit of greed would favor. What they're doing here is quieting certain opinions they don't want to promote through ad revenue, which actually brings in less viewers. If it were pure corporate greed motivating them, then they would encourage more controversial content, not attempt to silence it by starving certain content creators via cutting off their ad revenue... or forcing them to censor their content/change their views to keep the money rolling.

Given that Google was caught blatantly shilling for liberal politics before with their anti-Trump promotions on their main search engine, I would focus much scrutiny on this recent change to their ad sharing terms on YouTube. I think it's more politically motivated than financially.

whatever your problem with it is
it's only a problem if you are trying to make money from uploading videos
and if you are making money from something no matter how little you become very biased

this

yuk

Fair enough, but you made it seam like they were censoring just that. It's a lot of things.

oops
