i think we'd be good friends, i love Lovecraft and Shadow of the Colossus.

Judge me.

Nice and social guy, but not too many close friends.

>Quiet. Talkative given the right topic.
Kinda, sometimes I talk too much, and others I don't speak at all.

Usually bored.

>Wears all black. Shy, but confident in themselves.
Quite true.

Nice films, good albums, nice games (not a fan of MGS to be honest).

> i think we'd be good friends, i love Lovecraft and Shadow of the Colossus.
Great! Nice picks in general, great for Eraserhead (though it isn't my favorite Lynch film).

...

watch letters from iwo jima and read with the old breed if you like anti-war shit

Haha seen and read both actually. I picked up WTOB after watching that HBO series based on the book. Favorite war memoir is still The Things They Carried though.

still need to read that book. With the old breed made me mad depressed for like 2 weeks.

strange guy

all your categories have something I love and something I think is wildly overrated.

New year's resolution is to read more

+ Paths of Glory, LYSF
You remind me of a friend I have in uni
Keeps to himself most of the time but isn't necessarily introverted all of the time

++ Wild Strawberries
A bit of a recluse if I had to guess

lovecrafts dope.
kafka, hotline, coltrane, bowie are dope
harakiris so so dope
fandago, closer are dope
hell yeah taxi driverrrr

mind stating which for each category? Guessing New Vegas for vidya.

How does Sup Forums have better taste in movies and literature than Sup Forums and /lit/ do? Thank you OP you have great taste.

last time I went on /lit/ everyone was just shitposting about harry potter and the prisoner of azkhaban

Only read Slaughterhouse for books but will read mccarthy soon, liked slaughterhouse so not that category actually but

Loved NV, really didnt like MGS3
Loved Taxi Driver and Paths of Glory, really didn't like big lebowski
Loved GYBE, really didn't like hospice

side note: which mccarthy should i read next given I loved the road and quite liked no country

>bird with the crystal plumage
>pierrot le fou
>weeping meadow

>fishmans-otokotachi-no-wakare
>max roach-it's time
>takayanagi masayuki-la grima

(Change name to OP so I don't have to repeat if I have to)
I don't know why the "thank you", but you're welcome I guess. Thanks. About what you say about /lit/ and Sup Forums, I have no idea how.

Holy shit, we agree in all you said about user's chart.

gives me hope for future mang

If you liked those books I'd recommend maybe picking up some of the border trilogy. Especially the Crossing. He's been writing for a long time and his prose and style have changed over the years, so while I am inclined to immediately recommend Blood Meridian (it's often considered his greatest work) imo it reads much differently from his later works. If you liked no country you'll probably enjoy The Crossing, and it'll ease you into his older works if you'd be inclined.

Although when it comes to the border trilogy I never finished All The Pretty Horses, I just couldn't get into it. Never read Cities of The Plain either.

cheers, made a note of it

glad to hear it mang, sometimes I feel like the only person who doesn't like MGS3
