I'm here because I woke up at 7:30 PM after covering a 2 AM shift in the NOC for a guy who's in the hospital with his dying ex wife. My girlfriend and room mate are at burning man. I didn't go because I'm trying to save up for a down payment on a house, so work sounded like a better plan, and I can burn my 170 hours of vacation time seeing friends and family instead of doing drugs in the desert with a bunch of strangers.

First thing I saw on Sup Forums today. Started college a week ago and have been horribly asocial since. I have friends, it's not my first year, but I haven't even bothered to go see them. Haven't showered, skipped every class so far, usually eat in my room. My roommate didn't show up either. Need the kick in the pants to get going, but it serves more as a kick in the ribs when I don't.
Gonna give you a bump so maybe someone else gets the experience I've had, but I imagine mine was the definitive one.
