NEW ALBUM OUT TODAY
>progressive neo-psych mathy glitchy ambient chamber dream pop
>ffo björk, radiohead, sufjan, dirty projectors, anco and its side projects

another release out today! this is sweet, I particularly like the cello on The Flood

good to see a familiar face. ALWAYS recommending this project, top notch

I like the irregular rhythms and the shift into the second half a lot! I feel like if you could tame the noise a little bit, make it seem more deliberate, it would come off as more polished... but otherwise great stuff!

I'm a sucker for tape recordings. liking the softness, guitar tones and stereo mixing. the combined riffs at the end of "sorry i ignored you" are sweet

seaaseaa.bandcamp.com/album/demo-session-12-21-16
>experimental rock
>free improvisation
first track is drone, you could skip it
second track gets more interesting and a bit less sloppy the further in it gets
this was the best recording I got from me and my friends jam session, there's more online but it's really long and I doubt I'd get any feedback on it
I like it, but it sounds too muddy to be "dreamy" maybe lay off the reverb
love this, noisy, dirty, fast, slow
everything I want in my music is here
good stuff, but I feel like it's too lo-fi for it's own good, could sound really good if you gave it a proper treatment
dark psych, really dig it.
I'm tired of seeing these with the same people reccing them to one another, please stop being such lazy fucks and stop circlejerking each other

thanks man, glad you like it. I actually use very little reverb; what you're hearing is mostly delay. but I'll keep your criticism in mind!
I'm a fan of how your drums sound, something about them... they sound "knifish"

first thing that immediately sprang to mind was "wow this sounds like glenn branca". and I happen to like glenn branca :)

Old recs die hard:
I don't listen to death grips but that one track had a cool thing I wanted to sample. hope you enjoy it, despite the odds...

>wow this sounds like glenn branca
that's kinda where i got the idea for it, i felt like no one (at least no one that has become well known) has ever done anything like what he did, so i thought i would kind of rip off his ideas but make my own compositions.

>that one track had a cool thing I wanted to sample.
ah okay, it should be fine, i'm sure i'll enjoy it if i liked the EP

>knifish
sorry can you elaborate on that?

yeah, glenn was an original. go for it!
i hope you do enjoy the album! lemme know what you think :)
sorry, that was vague. I'm not sure if it's the kit or the way you've recorded it or the technique, but they have a real bite to them. I think the cymbalwork might also have something to do with it. anyway, it's good!

thanks, that's my buddy playing
I do really like his use of cymbals when we jam too

fuck, meant to rec you. some of the best stuff I've heard on these threads. all the best man!!

Amazingly crispy mixes, diverse genres, vast mood range... love this.
I really dig this, but that $5USD price tag is heavy.
Dig this, the world vibes are comin thru whilst keeping things familiar but fresh. Phat jams
I like whats happening here quite a bit, but i feel that the vocals just need a slightly different plugin just to integrate it with the mix a bit more.

>funny comedy
huh wow

(I hope)

Listening to your stuff now, the cassette recording puts a nice touch to your already dreamy style (I'm listening to (1) right now). Keep it up!

I just released my first EP. Any feedback is welcome :)

I can't find the link of the old thread to give feedback to who recommended me and I don't remember who it was, sorry guys :(

I loved how the simplicity of your songs does not affect how fulfilled they are. I really like this feeling of childhood, as if you were trying to get something that was lost in time through the songs. Loved it!

I first liked the cover art very much. The songs are very well produced, the composition well worked, I also liked your voice, combined a lot. It seems that you already know the way you want to tread and you're doing very well!

Mi hermano! (I'm from Brazil haha). Your instruments are very organic and well played, I really liked the atmosphere of mystery, it seems a very singular and cinematic interpretation of the world, I really liked it

These three I always recommend with my other project, so I will only leave the recommendation haha

Okay, I did not expect something so beautiful. It touched me deeply, very beautiful indeed! It seems to get something deep inside me that I did not even know existed. Beautiful! Wonderful!

In the middle of the "randomness" can be found an almost organized chaos quite interesting, the way the instruments talk to each other seem to trace a very creative way of thinking the music itself

>In the middle of the "randomness" can be found an almost organized chaos quite interesting, the way the instruments talk to each other seem to trace a very creative way of thinking the music itself
thank you for this, it might be the nicest thing someone has said about my music
I really love the vocal work you did, and the hypnotic guitarwork on the first track is blowing my mind
the second track has even more great vocals, the bass is really entrancing me
I wanted to give you some kind of criticism in a constructive manner but I really can't find anything I dislike about this
I love it, great work

Thank you man! I'm glad that you liked it :D

I always find it very interesting when meeting someone doing an unconventional job just like you, seems to say something that the standard structure of music/genres can not

Does anyone get sad because of these threads?

I always go back and listen to people's tracks and buy what I like, but it just shows me how little talent I have.

Luckily, I'm not trying to make it big and I just do this for fun. I fucking love rapping, even if my flow needs work.

God damn man this is some great shit, very very well done. I always pop into these threads hoping to find something like this. Track 6 is seriously impressive

thanks so much man, it means a lot!!
i'm really digging your EP so far, some of the best music I've found on here. the wobbly guitars and electronic touches really work a treat. i think i'll be listening to all of this...
Big thanks to you too! :)
sweet track, man. i'm a sucker for math rock. i'd love to hear more exploration of both the electronic components and the more dissonant and aggressive sections, but that's a matter of personal taste. maybe i just want a superfusion of ian williams' bands...

This album is beyond the Bandcamp threads' standard. I can't even say much, just keep what you're doing, this album tops the EP by miles.
The whole album is like a huge romantic trip to the future. I love how the glitchy/noisy sounds don't stir up the beautiful atmosphere, but make it even more psychedelic. It's a totally different approach than Even Oxen.
If I were Fantano I would give it a 8-9 and it became my second favourite Bandcamp album after Arrayed Above Seraphim Lights.

Best song is Half The World Now Wants You Dead

fuck man that's high praise, big thanks!!!!
seraphim lights is great, so i have no qualms being second to it in your mind :)
