same here, basically. i like it because it's a great gimmick to immerse yourself in fiction, it's a strong way to play it real and raw. lovecraft was doing it in a way in his writing, his stories being like a scrapbook of newspaper article, letters, personal journals etc

Third one's more like a horror comedy taking place during a wedding. No found footage. It wasn't horrible but people expected to see something like the past of the creepy final boss girl from the first two movies. Last one was better, it feels a lot like a resident evil game.
