I have a question.
When you play guitar does your left shoulder and chest get tense? For me it does and it makes me feel like my left side is a lot less flexible than my right.
I've been trying to focus on correcting this but it makes playing guitar harder as I'm not used to it.
Any advice on what to think about when you're trying to play and think about posture as well?

can confirm this.
i bought a cheap ibanez guitar. i can't remember the model but its from RG series all the parts on the guitar were made in-house. the pickups were from vintage series i think, and they were muddy as fuck. the pickups had 0 character and were flat sounding. the bridge is made of shit materials, the knobs fell apart. the only saving grace about this guitar is the body+neck. the guitar has a nice sparkly finish to it and the neck (maple) was from was wizard III which is fun to play. if you don't have 1200+ dollars don't buy an ibanez at all, id say not even the acousitc line because some of the practices can transfer. to top it all off i got scammed for the price and i would be much better off with some jackson kelly that have seymour duncans and floyd rose original. ibanez guitars only become good at their very top lines where they install di'marzio's and edge zero bridges. if you are looking for a budget guitar just get a fucking squire deluxe. its not super expensive.
