This is probably the worst. It's not even that they sound that bad, it's the people who play them and the purpose of the instrument.
There's a big "reggae"/ska scene in my area, and the least talented guy in a band will always be seen carrying around one of these god forsaken contraptions. They're just an accordion for people who are too lazy/high to memorize the bass buttons.
They're also becoming on of those xD cute! portable instruments that "indie" girls like to learn bits and pieces of like the ukulele or ocarina.
